I had 2 very fun games with Arkhne The first was um silver on firebase white against the Reapers... we were both using snipers his Widow was black mine was white I was a Quarian infiltrator... he was an Asari Adept I think??? Ive NEVER tried sticky grenades before because I saw some of you guys say they were bad... ... I love them My idea was that with Sabotage you have 2 powers which need to cool down and because the Widow is super heavy that probably isnt a good thing so I figured having grenades would be better because only 1 power needs to cool down and that means I can use cooling down time for tactical cloak and that means more damage... right??? Is that right or am I talking garbage??? I love sticky grenades though theyre so fun!!! They do so much damage I really love them they work well I think Ummmm yes that was a fun game but after I promoted the infiltrator class just before I got invited to gold!!! So I was like omg what do I use what do I use haha apart from playing with the ahf ive only ever used the quarian engineer the male one on gold but I wanted to try something else... but vanguards were level 8 sentinels were level 13 soldiers were level 5 and infiltrators were level 1... ... so I decided to go for the beautiful human engineer And... I dont know if it was my perception of things being different but I felt to be doing WELL... ummmm i probably was doing super badly I came last anyhow BUT I felt to be in the zone in a way haha The game was with Arkhne and someone called SilentStreak who I dont think I know but is on my friends list from before and also Darth Bernard who I also dont think I know but I might be wrong I came last but I FELT to be doing well... I only died a few times and I got a few revives and I set off loootttsss of explosions... as long as I used my powers and used my locust only for the incendiary ammo I could actually deal a little bit of damage so that was fun definitely like the easiest gold game ive had I think Just as I was gonna take a break Arktinen came online also so I was disappointed haha another time I hope

Low: having to call it a night because I'm falling asleep at the controller High: wrecking platinum with MrsA, CEBK & biggs, then with Grease & JRandall Highest: JRandall trolled Grease with an abomb during extraction on Goddess/Collectors, and no one said a word. When J admitted that it was intentional, we all cracked up

@general. Silentstreak is a mate of mine and Clyde who posted in here last week about platinum solos and also was looking for players to add. He said he'd added some people from here so I am guessing thats where he's from

LOL..... an Incinerate kill streak..I was the FQE....this was on white vs reapers... a bunch of stupid fucking marauders. cannibals, and a husk were standing too close together when I hit them with my incinerate specd for radius...... Nice one dude. In a slightly more conventional way, my recent highlight is related. I was on London, as a Shadow against Cerberus. Beginning of wave 7 I'm lurking at the bottom of the stairs when they spawn at the corner of the LZ on my side. Cloak, run, missile, Killstreak. No big deal. I turn round and run up the stairs. Cloak, run, missile, Killstreak. I turn around and run back down the stairs and see the spawn in the far corner.... I don't think I've ever got 3 Killstreaks in such a seriously short space of time, and I hope it wasn't misconstrued as score-whoring because it genuinely wasn't. I don't usually nuke spawns at all. But it was Cerberus. It was wave 7. It was feckin glorious.

I only died a few times and I got a few revives and I set off loootttsss of explosions... as long as I used my powers and used my locust only for the incendiary ammo I could actually deal a little bit of damage so that was fun definitely like the easiest gold game ive had I think Just as I was gonna take a break Arktinen came online also so I was disappointed haha another time I hope Please permit me to pass on some of the QFI-related wisdom that Quarian Master Race passed on to me when I first joined BSN around eighteen months ago Definitely spec into sticky grenades. They can be used to detonate tech combos, so you can set off some fire explosions or tech bursts if you use elemental ammo (not recommended for the one-shot sniper rifles where phasic ammo is more practical, but good if you like to use other weapons). Better still, Sabotage's tech vulnerability evolution increases the damage taken by tech powers, including combo explosions. So if you can prime a Brute or something with your elemental ammo, then Sabotage it, the fire combo detonated by the grenade will do a very nice chunk of damage to its armour. Even if you don't use elemental ammo, stickies are still great for dealing damage to armoured things or lobbing opportunistically into spawns. I throw them at Dragoons that have got too close 'cos I can't track a near, fast-moving target through a sniper scope. Also, even without elemental ammo, you can still Sabotage all the armoured things to boost the effects of your team-mates' tech powers. You'll likely get an assist rather than a kill for doing that, but hey, it's a team game Cloak before casting Sabotage to shorten its cooldown. Breaking cloak immediately after cloaking results in a three-second cooldown, whether cloak was broken with a weapon, power or simply by disengaging it. In my experience, cloak -> Sabotage -> shoot is the best way of shooting things when playing QFI: Sabotage holds small targets still for a moment so they're easier to shoot (doesn't work on bosh'tet Phantoms though); and if the shot doesn't drop them, the backfire effect possibly will. Don't worry about the scoreboard, you can play perfectly well and still come last. As long as you're a/ dealing damage, b/ contributing to objectives and c/ having fun, you're doing it right The scoring is semi-arbitrary anyway, power combos and powers+shots get more points than pure weapon kills. If a human soldier and human adept score the same number of kills and contribute equally to objectives, the adept will likely score higher simply by virtue of using power combos.

I had a reset powers thing so I used it on my quarian and tried sticky grenades when I have another and im level 20 im gonna try Sabotage and sticky grenades to detonate I didnt expect to do well anyway haha I was playing with some pros

I had 2 fun platinum games my first ones EVER with clydeintheshell and um people I didnt recognize I died quite a few times but not so bad... it could have been worse My plan was to overload EVVVEERRRRYYYTTHHHIIINNNGGG because I could stun a few enemies so the other guys could handle it Clyde had snap freeze in the second game and like I was detonating about a gazillion explosions every time I used overload and that was FUN My game was going super trippy again... this time like most of my screen went all spirally and blurry and all the walls disappeared and I could see the background of a city or something and all I could see was a little patch in the middle of my screen but even that was blurry but I could see at least what I was shooting my Playstation is on drugs I swear!!! Platinum is hard and stressful

Alsooooo in the first game something weird happened... everything was fine then on wave 11 something just suddenly changed and people started doing weird things and the game messed up... I ran right by an Atlas without it even moving like I was in an alternate reality and everyone kept walking in only 1 direction constantly so I went and waited in the extraction zone um then the timer hit 0 but the game never ended... the host left and me and clyde ended up having to finish after the game restarted the wave

High: Played exclusively platinum on ps3 today. Was in the mood to run a bunch of games to get my inventory a bit better so that next time I do challenges I don't run out of shotgun amps. Got a chance to play with some new faces: ran into a pug who was mad cool (OG something), helped Yummy with her alt, and took someone through their 1st platinum ever: Alsooooo in the first game something weird happened... everything was fine then on wave 11 something just suddenly changed and people started doing weird things and the game messed up... I ran right by an Atlas without it even moving like I was in an alternate reality and everyone kept walking in only 1 direction constantly so I went and waited in the extraction zone um then the timer hit 0 but the game never ended... the host left and me and clyde ended up having to finish after the game restarted the wave Glad I could help I unlocked Paladin II in the process. Low: a few lolpeaesstree moments, like my boy Lou having to quit on one of the Glacier matches we ran because of frame loss, then me having to do the same on Hydra. Finally, we wiped on Jade/Collectors when we got devices wave 10. Also, I used to update my status so I knew how many URs I had left? Yeah, I have to count all over again because of my permaban. Fuckin pricks.

High: hosting. This game is so much more fun without lag.
Low: waiting around for people to join my game. Why does no one ever join until Wave 3, *right* when I'm doing an objective?
High: Quarian Female Engineer with Claymore, headshotting Geth fools while they stand around the Sentry Turret.
Low: why doesn't the game give you medals after 20 Headshots?
High: next game, switched the N7 Shadow Infiltrator, got Cerberus, her most favorable matchup.
Low: died on Wave 1. I am as bad as marksmad now.
High: hacking down Phantoms on the late waves. Love doing that.

I got the N7 Hurricane in my introductory pack so every other SMG feels terrible. The completionist in me required it to be done, again. It will be awhile till I finish off the other gun challenges tho, this 2nd manifest of mine is still lacking some of the guns I like. High: Got in a few lulz games with Ark and Arktinen last night. I'm gonna stand by the excuse of I'm not bad really I'm just a drunk. Might as well play the stereotype card here. I also got another banner under my belt, Earth Mastery, I can use muh favourite N7 shadow alt now hnng! Higher: In the confusion of getting downed numerous times in a Geth? gold game I hit the wrong button and wasted a rocket. But wait there's more, it didn't even hit the target at point blank range, it sailed over it's head. I have witnesses to attest to this scrubiness. Highest: Last game against the Collectors, hack at Firebase White, I pulled off a fabulous killstreak and managed to down myself and two other teammates in the chaos. Low point: My headset fell apart, so I will have to do a DIY job on it later, needs duct tape.

SMG Challenge isn't too bad because it only requires 5 weapons.
Hurricane and Collector SMG are gimmes.
Blood Pack Punisher is alright.
Then you just pick two of the ones that are only so-so, and put them on the Turian Soldier or Geth Infiltrator or someone.
I usually do Tempest and Geth Plasma SMG, just because I hate how the Locust sounds.
Oh wait, Shuriken? LOL. No.
= = =
To get back on topic...
High: being Best of the Best means I never have to do the SMG challenge again unless I want to.
Low: above 'High' is pure edong.

Don't forget, for the SMG challenge, you can do 4 guns + the SMG medals category, to save you from having to use a gun you loathe.
