Recent Game Highlights and/or Low Points

Failure.

Drell Assasinator or InfiDrell. Actually I like Infidrell more . But anyways. I booted up, went straight to Glacier/Unknown. I had purposely set it to Public, thinking someone would session join eventually. People did, but they quit immediately, because they died during objective waves, and they had negligible effect, because scoring kills wouldn't matter unless I had managed to finish the objective.

Got collectors. First 3 waves were remarkably easy, recon mine cheese plus big fat heads equaled quick kills. Pizza objective. Thank you Mass Effect Gods of War...

Wave 6 was devices. I wasn't so worried about dying, but the 1st objective spawned in the worst place possible - right in the middle of the main lab totally exposed to the dead end tunnel where THEY all spawned spawn. So I had to kite the them, and then recon mine where I left them to give me a a very secure disable. I had duration cloak, so that part was easy. But it the next two devices kept spawning where I had left the Collectors last (ex: so for device 1, I guided them to the basement, which was then where device 2 spawned!), so my exits after a device was secured were always blocked, and cloaking to get the device wouldn't have worked as well as drawing aggro and then bolting the hell out of there.

But it just dragged on. I finished the hack objective with 5 seconds left. 5 seconds. I brought out a missile, killed everything with a killstreak. Whew!

And then the pain train began. I wasn't fully consumabled. I only had barrage upgrade 5 as a poor person's combination of Stabilization 3 and Thermal Clip Capacity 5, because I had no armor gear left grinding for 4 million credits has taken everything I have and more... And I just didn't have the dps. Sure, Warp Ammo 4 helped, but with the expectation of teammates staying for more than 15 seconds gone out the window, it became a Solo run. And I was not prepared. Any other faction, I would have extracted, but wave 9 just became a game of tag trying to avoid of all enemies - seeker swarms... Those damn seekers prevented my recon mine cheese, which I was using to clear out mooks who didn't have a good LOS on ME.

In the end, I was so focused on avoiding a seeker, that I barreled while in cloak straight into a collector firing where I was maybe 15 seconds prior. One full burst, because a Scion grenade explosion shield gated me, and health gate had just been used up (I had ops packed twice in that stretch to try to hold on). I had missiles, but I was keeping them for the next wave.

Ah well....

You can't get them all I suppose.
