Recent Game Highlights and/or Low Points

High: Let me tell you a story... Sounds like this: UUP which turns to Dagger/Trollectors, Dagger Hazard/Derperus, Jade/Geth, Dagger Hazard/Trollectors and Ghost Hazard/Derperus. 99% of the cases you'd think: horror story. Well, actually it was a fairy tale...

Highest: Got ahold of muahmuah (Always a pleasure playing with you, Doc!) and 09_Trooper (Thank you for joining us!) and we trio-ed the first game. Then, Sonashii (Thanks for the games, man!) joined us in the middle of the second game, after which trooper had to leave... So we trio-ed the third game and for the fourth and the fifth we were joined by the wise HamleticTortoise (Thank you for the games! Hope my hosting did not give you too much trouble).

As I told Doc on another thread, with the right team even the shittiest game (I mean twice Dagger Hazard) is easy...

High: Got into 2 UUP trio games with muahmuah and 09_Trooper (thanks for the games guys!)

Well, today almost everything was

Low: I started the day with two monumental fails on the N7 challenges: 7.1 with 3s to go and 7.2 got killed on w10 (needed 10ws).

Continued with

High: Got into 2 UUP trio games with muahmuah and 09_Trooper (thanks for the games guys!), but

Low: Was playing with the BatSol and I went with the GS (?!). I mean you get the best nades in the game, you're the only grenadier and you don't use that. That is called being a stoopid noob, because there are a lot of noobs who are brighter than that...

Low: After Doc and trooper left, I joined forces with HamleticTortoise (thank you!) and Ernie (thanks man!) for another UUP, which turned out to be Glacier/Cerberus. Due to the lag (I was hosting ) ernie left, so me and HT spend a lot of time kite-ing ennemies around the map. I imagine the lag made things interesting for HT as well... As I was playing again with my Lancer Batsol and we had the luck to get devices on w6, by the end of that wave the only thing I had left were 4 ammo packs. Luckily

High: EBDerevko (thanks for playing!) and one of her friends joined, so I was able to drag my feet through to w10, when

Low: we got again devices; I got grabbed by a Banshee and despite HT's and EB's desperate efforts we wiped. The last device was the one at the upper end of the long staircase where some phantoms made a camp, downing HT each time after he successfully managed to kite the rest away.

Low: Next game was Dagger Hazard vs Geth; it went quite well up to the extraction wave when me, EB and her friend got into trouble in the western approach, leaving HT to extract by himself.

I feel I owe an apology to all my partners today: sorry guys! I should have known better than to continue playing after the morning disaster, it was definitely not my day.  
     

Hey if anyone is an old "Grandpa" then it's me as far as real age is concerned most likely. I can still get the job done and scrub the floor better than any of you so take that!
