Mage my most played class in DAI easily, like being a wizard, a mini nuke. Rogue and Warrior are an even split in DAO and DA2. Really enjoyed my templar warrior run in DAI also.

In DA:O, Rogues were my go-to class, followed by Mages. My canon Warden being a Dalish Rogue. In DA2, it was pretty evenly split between Mages and Rogues. I have canon Hawkes of each. But in DA:I - Mages, easily... then, well, everything else. Say what you will of the KE spec, but it's damn fun! I didn't really care much for the Rogues in DA:I though, Tempest Archers being the only one I found... semi-interesting. I had more fun with Warriors this time around though. My little mighty-mite Dwarven Reaver was a lot of fun.

Interesting for me: DA:I is the first game ever I had lots of fun with Rogue with dual wield. In most games I have huge difficulties with this -hide-attack-hide again-mechanic. Normally I'm more of a ranged dd/mage/support type of gamer, but in DA:I I'll always end up with DW-Rogue. I have so much fun with it. Although I tried the other classes I'll always end up like this: "Yay, so excited! Now I play a Mage/Warrior/Archer for real! My Inquisitor will be so awesome!" -30 Minutes later after character creation- "...meh..." *deletes character, tries same character with DW-R spec, plays through the whole game*
Don't know why q.q I'm weird q.q. Although I like the other classes and think they are really interesting >.<

WARRIOR!
Have absolutely no interest in playing a rogue or a mage and i never will. If i want to fight/kill something i'm going to do it up close with my sword/ax/hammer and i want to be able to take tons of damage and still be left standing. None of that range fighting for me!

I'd say rogue, I usually start with a rogue. Then warrior, my warden for imports is a warrior, and mage I've only gotten into after playing as one in Inquisition. So actually my canon has one of each, nicely...DAO: Warrior, DA2: Rogue, Inq: Mage.

Well..
In DAO I've played both a Rogue and a Mage.
DA2 and DAI I've only played Mages.
Warriors are of little interest to me simply because I've been there done that tanking on MMOS and honestly don't want to do so in my DA games.

Rogue, without a shadow of doubt. (pun?)
I enjoy their skill set the most - the stealth approach, picking locks, disarming traps, etc. I'll play a rogue in basically every video game that lets me play as one, or whatever the closest "rogue" class there is, like a thief, assassin, etc.

Warriors. All the time. Why? Due to the combat roll skill which should be a default skill.
I can't say I like the skill restrictions in DAI. They made no sense and are the worst I've ever seen.

Whether daggers or bows I always go rogue! I will admit though that DAI actually made playing a mage enjoyable for me. I particularly loved the sound of the ice spells. Freezing people never got old!

I voted rogue because of bows - I adore killing things from a distance. In MET I usually play as an infiltrator, for the sniping. Mage is close second in DAI. The only run of DA2 I did was as a mage because of Carver I dislike the hacking & slashing that comes with the warrior class. Ironically in Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, which I'm playing atm, I found both the mage and the rogue to be very unwieldy so I defaulted to the warrior. And boy does it deliver! Last night I spent 30 minutes trying to bring down a chimera - awesome fight - and when I finally succeeded I had run out of all my restoratives and all my pawns were dead.

Well, in DAI my reason for making my Canon a mage was because of Cassandra (she likes dem mages) and because I feel less likely to die playing as a mage (I died too easily playing as a rogue, on all three games, but at least my skyrim character takes care of that - he's a stealthy archer assassin, lol).

Three playthroughs as a mage. Currently on my fourth as a mage. And one of the pool of many "made this char, saved right after start of epilogue, might never play" characters is also a mage. First playthrough was a male human mage, then a female elven mage which I stopped playing halfway through to play a male elven mage. All of those characters choose to side with the mages. The male elf totally denied the Maker, the female elf "converted", the first human mage was pro-Maker but anti-Chantry. Now on a male human who sided with the templars and who always says good things about the chantry. Two rift mages, two knight-enchanters.
The only non-mage character I have (in the aforementioned never play-pool) is a human rogue. Totally gonna play that... right after I finish my current human male...and maybe the female human mage.
Oh, and as for DAO and DAII: Even split between mages and warriors in DAO. DA2: Only played a mage.

Warrior=Rogue>Mage: For petty reasons such as everyone seemingly favoring mages, or the general mage attitude of playing the victim. In DAO they were much more tolerable but playing them meant easy-mode zZzzz.

In Inquisition? Probably Mage. In the entire series? Definitely Mage. It helps they have so many options for playtime.

what's with the facination of magic? rogues all the way, sure mages are OP. but screw OP, sneaking and stubbing bitches! Among other things, I guess it is due to that: tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/LinearWarriorsQuadraticWizards. Ergo, it would probably lead to this kind of mentality in certain individuals: Anyway, concerning this thread, my answer is a mage.

what's with the facination of magic? rogues all the way, sure mages are OP. but screw OP, sneaking and stubbing bitches! This is simple for me: we are in Southern Thedas: mages are oppressed. In Tevinter I will play as non-mage character. Probably as warrior. (True, the big firepower and aoe still tempting, especially, if we get back the blood magic. )
