Footage from space is also an appeal to authority fallacy, since the rest of us don't have access to verify for ourselves. This is what it's all about, what we can verify for ourselves if what we're told is true or not. Surely if the Earth was a ball there would be at least one non-fallacious argument to back it up.

There could always be other explanations. No absolute certainty is ever available in any topic.

If you're going to commit to this sort of skepticism, you need to discard all of your conclusions, not just the ones you don't prefer.

There's no logical arguments for the simulation idea. From what I've seen, that's actually a mainstream narrative and involves space and a universe, all of which flat Earthers don't believe in.

First, that's not even always true. If the water is under pressure, it will not boil.

Second, you've skipped enough parts to render the statement nearly tautological. What do you mean "heated"? That heat was added? How do you determine that? If it's by measuring temperature, then your reasoning is circular, because the moving molecules are themselves the evidence of heating.

Boiling isn't molecular movement, though. Boiling is a change in phase.

We also can't prove those two things are directly related. Maybe adding heat angers the water fairies, and they use their magic to help the water escape. If we could somehow remove the fairies, maybe the water wouldn't boil.

But there's no way to know for sure.
