Romances I'd like to see:
A well written second romance - Disposable wives are the cliche, but you can play with them to make it good. Establish the wife before she dies. Even better, make the circumstance an arranged marriage the husband grew to like before it was gone.
Elf romance - With someone saving "Elven Glory" in bed

In which case any interludes would probably involve a folding Orlesian fan and lots of sneezing. There’s also moth-based pollination, but sadly I haven’t seen any references to jars of moths in canon. |

See, I think there’s a slight difference between the two, because the second is a banter you get regardless of your gender and being in a romance with Isabela, I think. Gamlen IS a pervert, and he states in another dialogue, I think, that he was interested and rejected by Isabela. It’s just another show of Gamlen’s flaws. Unless it’s something tied to romancing Isabela, which would make it worse, since he knows about the relationship. The first is way worse, since it seems like he’s imagining her niece during sex. |
