Xen,nobody likes this character,so get over it Nobody likes you. Get over itBTW the fact that the most liked post in this atrocious, deplorable excuse for a thread is a Navy Seal copypasta singing the merits of the glorious Quarian Marksman serves as a perfect example of how everyone (or rather everyone whose opinions will still matter after the storm, maggots) loves the unimpeachably debonair, suave, and undiluted no nonsense envirosuited sexiness that is the Quarian Marksman.1. Not true, he's a heck of a player and his solos are among the best on youtube. 2. I wouldn't go as far as to say everybody loves the QM, what we really love is the passion with which you are defending him... But then again all quarians are very passionate, that's why my LI is almost always Tali.

Somebody takes it personally I just don't like QMS,that's all.And as you can see,the most of the players don't like QMS.I am sorry if i've offended you, that wasn't my intention. I'm sure Xen is just joking around. She likes to act all tough and cool, but inside she's a fluffy cute lil' Quarian that wants to be loved Dafuq you calling "fluffy" you sentient beach ball? BTW you're all clearly garbage at the game and a bunch of indolent proles who are jelly of Quarian Marksman's peerless level of classiness and elegance. Meanwhile he's just standing there in his sharp black suit, all like go ahead, go take your commoner Turrhurrdurrian's pathetic socialist handouts of lolfitness shields and free (but usually broken) stability. All the more glorious Quarksman for the discerning individual such as myself.

Xen,nobody likes this character,so get over it I wouldn`t say so, as I like this kit, even though it is not my favourite one. Indra, tactical scan and sniper mode can make short work of enemies.

But really isn't the true topic of this thread whether or not people enjoy being forced into 'playing the weapon' by a given character? Bores the hell out of me, so I never feel compelled to QMM.
Also interesting the tongue-in-cheek GT vs QMM comparison...while also discussing the ADAS QMM as a possible selling point. So standing there holding the ADAS trigger down vs standing there holding the flamer button down. With no way to self-detonate either. Hot damn...does the fun ever start?

Trade some passive damage bonuses for a Dodge. If tacscan provided a bigger debuff I'd play him more often, but the TSol is my marksman go-to.
Claymore us fun on him, but only because the Claymore is fun.

I love the talon on him with drill rounds. Honestly his debut power syncs better than the turian soldier imho. Raider is also pretty damn entertaining on him.

I hope you know we are talking about the Quarian Marksman - QM , not the Quarian Male Infiltrator - QMI... I do. I also supposed that people in this thread knew its topic and would understand which ability I was talking about. If it is not so - I`m sorry for this misunderstanding. I was definitely talking about the MM. No one forces anyone into 'playing a weapon'. There`s no Han`Gerrel behind my chair, Arc pistol in hand, saying "you either give your QM a certain weapon or I`ll shoot your toaster and TV and whatever else". There is a lot of weapons to use effectively with this character, and every player decides for himself what he wants.

It's about the QMM being a gunning-based class...as opposed a power-based class like the Fury or NovaGuard. Since the QMM doesn't come with killing castable powers, players have no choice but to 'play the weapon' (regardless of weapon)...else get no kills.

My bad, I didn`t see the other possible meaning. Sorry. But still, isn`t it good to have such an option? There are many classes that can rely effectively on their powers, should there be any need of adding one more? Especially considering that grenaded QMM would be similar to QMI and powered one - to human infiltrator or quarian engineers.

If you play him like most elite ME3 players play their characters as in it is all about my performance who gives a fug about the rest of the team then he is not that good. If however you care about the rest of your team then he can be very good and very useful.

If however you care about the rest of your team then he can be very good and very useful. Precisely the opposite. If I want to be a team player I will pick some Volus Engineer or a Paladin or something along those lines, because everything they do debuff, slow, strip shields, add a DOT or prime for explosion and they can do that to a crowd of enemies and trough obstacles. QMS is mostly a loner "shoot all the things" kit. Yeah, Tacticool Scan benefits all players, but it's real use is only on bosses (even something like Brutes or Ravagers ain't worth scanning) and it's single target only. Yeah, you can have Sabotage, but you'll probably use it a few times during the whole match, since it's cooldown is ridiculous if you have anything heavier than a feather. QMS is a lesser team player than a Turian or Human Soldier.

Saboage and tac scan are both great team abilities, if players don't use then don't blame the class. It has far better team abilities than the ones you mentioned, far better. If your point is that the other classes kill stuff better and quicker then you best play with 4 aiu's with the Reegar.

Recon mine gives 25% damage boost across 8-12 meters to all targets in the radius and slows them all by 30%. That's a team power. Is there a benefit in Tac Scanning a single Centurion? Yes. Is it worth your time, instead of just shooting him in the face? No. Is it worth proxy mining him? Yes. Is it worth your time? Yes, because it staggers him too.

Well the QMM is probably just more teammate and faction dependent for his highest potential team contributions. With Tech teammates and/or fighting vs flashlights or Cerbs, the QMM can be an outstanding team contributor.
