People thought the 6.0 patch would be a expansion, but it will be just a small update, I checked the roadmap for this year and it's very empty as far as content goes. You check dulfy.net? it's a very good website to be on track with SWTOR news. To be fair, the released roadmap is only for the next couple of months. People were going stir-crazy waiting for the whole thing, so they just released a bit of it to placate people. I don't know what will happen to be honest, but as a long time MMORPG player, SWTOR it's in its last legs, but as you said their fiscal year ends in April, let's see what they do past that. anyway regardless of what happens I still see SWTOR running until 2020 at least, the thing is with what. |

I can't see SWTOR lasting until 2020 it hasn't got the legs, not if they keep up the measly content updates. And if Anthem falls flat on it's face well... I wouldn't be at all surprised if one day I go to the official SWTOR forums and see an announcement that SWTOR is being shut down. It may well be a blessing as it'll at least put everyone out of our collective miseries.

If I let them dictate my enjoyment I would have quit long ago. I just play the game and enjoy it for what it is. You can play the game for free if you so choose, you don't have to subscribe. I never buy any CC in all the years I play this game... lol. The extra CCs I got was from Origin/Amazon bundle and Security Key.
And yes, people have been screaming this game is dying since the first day I play it (which is late 2014). Hard to take any doomsday criers seriously especially after all the QoL last year, the Traitor arc and with 6.0 in coming... which is still more content than the now dead MEA (unless anyone considered MEAMP as 'content') and the delayed Anthem.
If its gonna die, it die. Speculating about it is useless since not all of us STILL PLAYING even care about having that discussion... we're too busy talking about Jawa in Dromund Kaas.

This seems the best place to put this... Here is my commissioned art I've had by the wonderful and very talented Kaana Moonshadow on deviantart. It shows my Sith Warrior, Nathrrya and Captain Malavai Quinn on her Fury-class ship the Violet Rose. It's fairly obvious what Quinn has just asked and it's clearly surprised the usually unflappable Nathrrya. Can you guess the significance of the colour of the ring?  |

Incidentally, how much do these types of things cost? I realize it varies by artist, and possibly style, but I've been considering getting a few with my characters. |
