So I loved the new 5.10 story stuff. But, I have a female Sith Warrior and getting LS Jaesa back was awkward for me. My SW has always been with Quinn but when Jaesa came back she comes on hard to me, proclaiming her love and such. Which is fine, but I wish it hadn't been so full force. Like I never flirted with her and I wish there had been that option before the poor girl just threw herself all over me and I had to break her heart by telling her no. Poor thing. More spoilers for the Knight I HAVE DOC BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is all  I uploaded the video for Jedi knight on youtube if anyone wants to watch: Jedi Knight Jedi Under SiegeYeah Jaesa coming on full force to my fem SW felt... odd but highly amusing.  for a male SW it might work better. Is that the robot guy who jumps up on the walls? No it's the Gemini captain that I'm having issues with. While exploring the ship before you get to her you can find a thing that will let you control a robot, it helps to have him with you if you can keep him alive through the initial group of robots before her. If you aren't a healer make sure Senya is set to heal and when the captain splits attack who Senya attacks, I believe she will go to the real one every time. Good luck! I would offer to help but the KotFE/KotET stuff is solo. |

The Jaesa thing was super awkward. Would have been nice if we had more options like a "sorry, you've always been like a sister to me" or "I don't like girls" or "I'm taken" rather then "I'm sorry, I can't" .. I can't what? seriously ridiculous dialogues in the AA's in my opinion.

I did a play through of the new stuff on a person romancing Theron and a person romancing Lana. Lana romance got smoochies and a sunset. Theron romance got a hug in the war room and he walks off. I have to say I'm enjoying the new story stuff though. It's kind of short, I'd like more but it makes it easy to run though on multiple characters and the dailies are just the right amount, I think. There's plenty of them, but pretty quick to run through as often as you like. I think they're finally hitting their stride! |

The problem is they wanted to (finally after all these years) add in the same gender romance options, but instead of doing it properly by adding it into the class stories or even waiting for the new xpac and doing all new romance arcs they decided to cram it all into a single conversation. So for people that don't want them it feels super cringy. For the people that do want those romances it ends up be extremely underwhelming. All in all yeah its just bad. |

I don't recall Nadia's being as cringy as Jaesa's. They really just had her come on way too stong (and yeah...out of nowhere). Would have been nice if they'd only had her confess her feelings if you picked a flirt option of some sort. But yeah...feels like scraps being thrown at s/s romances, because you know there will probably never be anything further in the game from any of our vanilla comps we have back already. They can't even manage letters anymore.

They can't even manage letters anymore. Yeah its a shame. I imagine it has more to do with budget, or the lack there of, more than anything. If the game had been more successful they might have gone back and added them in properly but it is what it is. |

Yeah, I felt Nadia's was done well. She didn't come on to me at all because I took no flirts. I took no flirts with LS Jaesa but still threw herself all over me and I felt bad about telling her no. I am glad that people who wanted to romance her all along (male and female) finally have that option though. I have taken all my original romances back on my original 8 characters. I know they will never get more content, but I loves them all the same  I hope that we will get a big 6.0 expansion (I would even gladly pay for it if need be) and I hope that SWtOR has many more years left in it and isn't abandoned in favor of Anthem (  ) |

I hope that SWtOR has many more years left in it and isn't abandoned in favor of Anthem The BW Austin group that made SWTOR is pretty much entirely separate from the rest of Bioware and was created pretty much just to do SWTOR. Anthem won't have any impact on it. I'm surprised they haven't tried to push the game harder with the new movies coming out, maybe EA just doesn't see the value. Its not a bad game, if they timed 6.0 with the new movie release and got some PR behind it and (most importantly) release a really solid xpac they could generate some new interest in the game. It doesn't really feel like they will, but I think the game still has potential even after all these years. The game just needs a lot of TLC. Sadly after the lackluster release numbers EA just abandoned it, lots of old bugs and issues that were there at release still exist and the whole game seems to hinge on the success of the Cartel Market. I really think if EA put the time and money into it and did a mini-Realm Reborn type thing with the game like FF14 did they could get more people playing, that just isn't EA's style though. |

Actually, Anthem sucked up all the developers (in every department) from every BW sub-studios, SWTOR was affected as much as others. And judging by new direction (Back to MMO roots!) we should not hope to much for much of a story - with or without companions.

Do you have evidence to back up your claim? Not only Anthem stole developer power. BW Austin also had to work on MEA (they did Kadara) and as the rumor goes they also developed a separate Star Wars game that first was supposed to be a remaster of KOTOR but then evolved into something else and currently there is no news on the project. It's either scrapped or on hold since the majority of Bioware is working on Anthem. The last major developing SWTOR saw was in 2015 when KOTET launched. Imho everything afterwards is a skeleton crew working on the unfinished stuff that the big 2015 crew left them with. That's why KOTFE was not the promised 16 chapters and I suspect some of the follow up Flashpoint updates were basically reworked and repurposed KOTFE chapters that needed much longer work time. There won't be a big 6.0 update until resources are given toward the game. Right now best they can do is release a FP or a planet every 6 months. |
