I don't even want to imagine how painful setting oneself on fire would be. Many years ago I had my hand submerged in 400 degrees farenheit grease and that was something I will never forget.

Pretty much this...people have tweeting about sitting the title screen for hours and now tens (hundreds?) of thousands of people across the world all attempt to access/launch at the same time? It's going to be rough likely for the first hour

Yeah, is it really THAT surprising that we can't connect if everyone and their mothers are trying to connect at the same time?

I am actually surprised I figured it would go smoother for the demo that is for people who pre-ordered, as in they know pretty much exactly how many people will be attempting to log on.

I did get in but got hit with infinate loadings screen after a while. Now I'm in qeue again.

Well, spent ~40 minutes messing with appearance.

Custom color palette is nice - but they need to have the option to manually enter the RGB Values, instead of letting controller/mouse move the color chooser about. Was trying to copy Iron Man's gold color (for a separate section of armor), but gave up after 10 minutes.

Got approximately what I was wanting, and started a Freeplay - but apparently the servers in charge of that are slammed also, as I've been on the loading screen at ~85% for the last 15 minutes or more.

You can either skimp and get bad press or go captain overkill and maybe burn a little bit of money. An extremely solid launch would have been some mighty good press material.

Now youtube and streamers can just skewer them.
