Most seem impressed at how someone can pull that much time playing each week. dunno why plenty of folks without a job can put in 16+ hours a day... I dont have a job and I racked up 60 hours game play in a week... and I actually take time away from the keyboard to do other stuff like cooking, chatting with the family and reading books... and lets face it playing games is considered distraction therapy and advised as a course of treatment by some of the better pain management groups who dont want everyone drugged up to the eyeballs.... back when I was working I would regularly get 4 hours sleep a night just so I could do stuff with my guild and not detract from family time (couldn't skip work since that would lead to jail time) that meant that I often racked up 6 hours a day gaming for around 42 hours a week, on the flip side the fact this survey results will be used in publications distributed far and wide putting the hard limit on the top at 40 hours a week means there protecting the gaming community from parts of society that are just waiting for an excuse to limit their ability to play games... already in the EU they have rules about time spent online and having forced on screen messages about how long you've been playing for and then forced logouts and being locked out of your account after a set period of time (I think this was actually overturned a few years ago) there are always ulterior motives for doing certain things and sometimes despite the people who are behind running the survey the reasons are less about being out of touch and more about protecting your industry, it wasn't that long ago those same surveys had a cap of 20+ as the max... some folks are just too dumb to understand this sort of thing though and prefer instead to complain about the company thats trying its best to protect them from the vagaries of those who are trying to control their lives through legislation and who truly are totally out of touch wiht the wider world living in their own rose tinted bubble of the past....

Like everything else, balance is the key to good health.
Unfortunately, imo, EA's poll has more to do with potential online revenue/hrs played than its social responsibility of balancing a player's game time on a per diem basis. So, putting my black hat on, EA may want to calculate their online revenue projections based on player hours/day/week per game. if the numbers are within a ball park of accuracy the publisher will have a financial tool to predict the sustainability of their games and increase the accuracy of their financial quarterly Guidance. Or, to put two black hats on, predict the point of demise for a game.
By itself, the poll is interesting. Remember that EA gets telemetry data on every game they publish. My hours played with DA:I, for example, were way off base. Yet, EA used these "billions of hours played" in their financial reports. Perhaps, EA realized more accurate numbers were needed.

A full MW Javelin is ok to start with, but MW and Legendary stuff with 100%+ for damage, charges, etc. is the thing that really helps.

ahh and theres the rub, they know without a doubt exactly how many hours anyone with the origin client running spends playing games (even if its on another drm client) so they dont actually need the survey for the financial reports, the survey results are purely and simply for them to use publicly for things like the world health organisation or the world trade organisation or the UN who all have a group dedicated to screwing up the games industry for being against whatever fable book of ancient laws the current membership follows.... thus EA needs the results from the responses and needs to limit the likelihood of efforts being taken to curb access to their business by old fuddy duddies and joy killers the world over, and one of the safest ways to achieve this is to stick in a hard cap on the numbers of hours so nobody can torpedo their own favourite past time, its not that long ago folks were knowledgeable about this sort o f thing but I guess along with all the SJW isms that have started eating brains around the globe the ability to think outside hte box and utilise critical thinking skills and analyse from different angles has been a victim to those that would control the worlds ability to think and act in their own interests rather than moving like lambs to the slaughter.. all of which means i'm not exactly surprised there is a mass movement decrying the acts of a corporation that is blatantly trying to protect their interests whilst also protecting itself (sometimes things are good for both sides of the equation, not every corporation is mondaleze that wants to poison its consumers in order to make more money out of them)

I'd say bring as much damage as you have in terms of weapons and gear plus survivability in additional shield and/or armor bonus. Then again, we have been playing GM2 legendary contracts during the first week of early access pretty much still undergeared andfighting a Luminary at the end took us 3x as long as getting there. Game was working differently back then though and powerlevels were much lower... but it was possible. So there really isn't an indicator in terms of pure powerlevel if you ask me.

Got to Max Tier 10 so that if I make anyone's Weekly contributors, they get the paltry amount of coin and promptly...
***Error loading Pilot data***
...cancelled my Origin Ac....
***You have lost connection to EA Servers***
...Access. I'll be uninstalling the game once I can figure out how to purge it from my running processes.
In all seriousness, I will be keeping an eye out to see if Bioware can get some of the technological issues out of the way. Given the state of things, I don't expect the game to be in a workable state for some time, if even at all. The bright side is if they do finally manage to have a stable product, the price will likely have come down greatly by that time.

Game at least gave me 6 legendaries so far since then for my birthday Hey, to each their own! There is fun to be had in Anthem and it can really only get better. But the current technical state and horrible design issues prevent me from putting any further time/money/energy into this game. Getting loot drops means nothing when the game doesn't work. Yeah, I got a legendary this morning, but I also had an Error Loading Pilot Data and a EA Server disconnect. You can't have more errors than good loot drops per hour and expect me to stick around.

Most seem impressed at how someone can pull that much time playing each week. I don’t think the average gamer has time to play 10 hours in a week let alone 50. Depends on a few things. Firstly it depends whether people count mobile games as video games, because that's what most people play games on (90% of the people on one survey played on either a smartphone or tablet compared to 50% on PC) and they can take their phone everywhere with them to play when waiting for stuff. If you have an hour commute to work, and an hour commute from work, and you take the train, that's 10 potential hours right there. Secondly it's how you define gamer. Now some surveys state that, for example, 70% of Americans play video games (mostly mobile) and that they play on average 12 hours a week. But I don't define a gamer as "someone who plays video games", I define a gamer as someone who's primary form of entertainment is video games. And imo if you define it as that you'll get a result which is higher.

I think Freeplay is currently the best place to farm. The free roam chests seem to have been reverted back to a rewarding state in GM2 (haven't tried GM3) and I got 2 Legendaries from stumbling on 2 chests in my way.
All in all got a total of 6 Legendaries today (new personal record for a day) - 1 from a GM2 Tyrant mine (random spider), 5 from GM2 Freeplay (2 from Titans, 2 from hidden chests, 1 from a random mob). I did 5+ GM2 Strongholds and the rewards were a few MW and a Legendary. From a couple of Freeplay sessions I got 5 Legendaries and 10+ Masterworks. Definitely sticking to Freeplay.

I don’t think the average gamer has time to play 10 hours in a week let alone 50. <iframe width="23.96" height="4.56" id="MoatPxIOPT0_29067455" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 15px; top: -5px; width: 23.96px; height: 4.56px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> <iframe width="23.96" height="4.56" id="MoatPxIOPT0_53481741" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 1138px; top: -5px; width: 23.96px; height: 4.56px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> <iframe width="23.96" height="4.56" id="MoatPxIOPT0_59194253" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 15px; top: 167px; width: 23.96px; height: 4.56px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> <iframe width="23.96" height="4.56" id="MoatPxIOPT0_60610694" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 1138px; top: 167px; width: 23.96px; height: 4.56px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> LOL! true but they have to understand myself as an example I'm retired and a widower so yes I have lots of time on my hands and don't forget those of us who are disable, then there those (not talking bad about ya) who are not working for what ever reason I.E taking care of a family member etc.

I think Freeplay is currently the best place to farm. The free roam chests seem to have been reverted back to a rewarding state in GM2 (haven't tried GM3) and I got 2 Legendaries from stumbling on 2 chests in my way Forgot to say we were doing GM1 and it actually now felt ALL FREAKING RIGHT! I said to PutinWithAnimals first "if you can revive me a lot, lets go GM1 then" - but he did it only once ![:o](//storage.proboards.com/6576594/images/aCYreiXWLepPDsSBAqBw.png) whaaaat!

Most seem impressed at how someone can pull that much time playing each week. already in the EU they have rules about time spent online and having forced on screen messages about how long you've been playing for and then forced logouts and being locked out of your account after a set period of time (I think this was actually overturned a few years ago) I'm in EU and that's the first time I hear of it I think people may confuse this with voluntarily installed apps that monitor someone's time and make people take breaks. I'm considering downloading one myself - not because of gaming (I have a pretty loose schedule and 40+ gaming weeks are something I do only occasionally, like after new game/content drops), but because of all the sitting. I have issues with vein inflammation in legs, sore back and dry eyes and taking regular breaks has been literally prescribed to me by doctors ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/6576594/images/LGLtCPvIKeQPFXyYM0Ed.png) So I'm fairly sure that if EU ever considering a mandatory app making us take breaks was ever a real thing it was not because they have ulterior motives towards games or else, but because prolonged sitting is responsible for many potentially dangerous health issues and prophylaxis is actually cheaper/healthier than treatment when damage is already done, duh.

16 hours a day? Only 4 hours of sleep at night?
You are a exception not the rule. And if i may add put some breaks on it, not even during my weekends that are usually free i put more than 6 hours a day gaming. You are going to fuck your health doing that.

How exactly do you farm freeplay? Fly around and fond xhests? Flying around, looking for events, fighting Titans and random groups of enemies, keeping an eye for chests, etc.
