I don't really watch TV much. And it feels like ages since the last time I saw an episode of Dr Who.

So, frankly, I have no knowledge of what this is about (just a strong suspicion that this has some similarities with the horrible culture vandalism we have seen in comics, Star Wars, Terminator and many other franchises).

But I saw that people were posting videos like this here, and I liked the song, so.

A modern Space 1999. Now that's a thought!


*rubs eyes* Ok, I did see a Star Wars trooper walked across the Eagle parking lot. 

Man I loved Space 1999 and I had totally forgotten about it. 

I have a few ship models that I didn't put together. I didn't have the mats, the space nor the time then. Now that I do have time. I'm not inclined to get up and start on them.


This one is pretty cool.

Never seen this tv series despite hearing about it back then.

I'm more familiar with NF in Castle and Jade Empire. I'd expect his character in Firefly to have a funny side as well because of his track record.

It's surprising that Firefly was mishandled so badly. I when the commentator expressed hope for the dead series now that Disney hold the rights to it. It's not the right time. Disney may have done something right with the Mandalorian but they're still doing a lot more wrong and no sign they're going to climb out of the pit they happily dropped into.

The statement about old Trek fans turning away from new Trek is right. I'm one of those. It's not the Star Trek I know. The new CBS Trek has no heart, no subtlety, no creativity.

However, The Expanse is not the first SF series with a story arc that requires the audience to tune in to each ep. Babylon 5 is the first to begin that trend with a five year story arc. Back then, in the 90s, it was tough waiting for each new season. The good thing was there were internet B5 discussion forums for fans to discuss and speculate on the story and characters. One of those was called the Zocalo.
