This is more like a general Bio gripe, but their loot systems seem to be getting worse and worse over the years. Not really a problem in DAI where you crafted everything anyway, but if you're gonna do a looter shooter, shouldn't the loot be interesting?
Although ME1 had one of the most broken economies and horrible loot systems I've ever seen in a game.

Anthem Gripe and Complaint:
It's implementation in Origin regarding Chat and your friend's gaming Notifications is broken, resulting in 2 unique CTDs for me. It also ignores Origin In-Game status (I go invisible fairly often), which I did after the first CTD.
The real issue? I wasn't playing Anthem, lol. I was playing Dragon Age: Origins (mostly to replay Awakenings with a Warden I made; my OG warden sacrificed himself cause I can be noble like that).
TheThirdRace was playing Anthem and was kind enough to invite me to play, as we are old ME3MP teammates with many glorious victories and hilarity behind us. I was very happy to hear from him!
I just had to lose about 6 minutes of Haven Cavern crawling, trying to reach the Gauntlet. Not the end of the world.
The second CTD, that's the Biowerpls moment. I had set Origin FL to Invisible, and when TTR started a new session of Anthem, I got an Origin Notification that he was playing, despite me having those notifications turned off in-general for all friends. I don't care what you guys are playing when I'm playing a game generally; it's not personal, love. Anyways, CTD, wtf, JFC, ???, gdmfbbq!
Talk about Biovar Kwallity Produx, this is definitely one of them.

And what difficulty do you play Mass Effect 1 at?
I play Insanity and abuse the Mako's cannons to full extent with my NG+ SuperShep death laser Mark VIII dilhammer.
Mass Effect 1 loot was just a mixed bag. Loved the ammos, the guns were not unique enough and the tiered system was boring. ME3 did it better with just upgrading the gun you have to X rather than having to get 73 versions of the same gun riding in your inventory.
Armor was visually distinct enough in many cases, but needed editing. Too much repetition of product, like the guns. ME2 massively improved on this singular aspect of the game, while managing to destroy a couple RPG mechanics I liked in the process. Oh, progress ... (sigh)

Here is the experience of crafting a Masterwork weapon. I'm not griping that the stats were worthless, that's been covered. But look at the cost, COMBINED with worthless stats. I've been playing GM1 missions for about 35 hours now, and I only have enough mats for 5 crafts.

Old gamer, generally fussy, likes numbers and science.
*Mission design is already repetitive and if they repeat what they have now and apply it to future content I legitimately will delete this game cause screw that. It's lazy. You either defend x objective, pick up object, or carry object to a point, or kill x enemy, that gets repetitive when that's all you have and lot of missions will do it back to back😒
defend x objective - hack pick up object - device carry object to a point - pizza delivery kill x enemy - assassinate key target
No drops in the wild, only chest and boss. One MW from boss and I think that counted as separate from the guaranteed MW at the end, because I wound up with 2. For 20 minutes of play (team was struggling with the echoes sections). They were both salvage on sight. Wew lad.

For Mass Effect I consider 'veteran' to be what 'normal' difficulty should have been, and in the trilogy I alternated between that and 'hardcore', although because I'm not too good at shooters for most of the trilogy I believe I stuck with 'veteran'. The enemies on normal were horribly weak.

ME1 wasn't a looter shooter- it actually was fun, the loot was a bonus.... not the main part of the game.
Yeah, that was how I saw it too. (That's why yanking loot altogether worked in ME2) I keep coming back to wondering how a studio which doesn't seem to really be into loot, and hasn't been for years, ends up working in a genre that's about loot.
I knew it! I was getting good 5-6 masterworks in a session of Freeplay until I could hit the 50 items limit.
Earlier today I got 2 MW and 1 Legendary. Just now I got ZERO MW. Just epics. And I actually ran the last one with few extra Luck items. Well, no luck They really nerfed it down hard. From 100 items on GM1 I got 3 that were higher than Epic. Not a good time investment. And that is with 163 % extra luck. Boooo...
Not to mention running a few GM1 Strongholds yielded just a single Masterwork outside the boss encounters. Used to get about 1 or 2 in Stronghold before the boss. So, is that Bioware's idea of retaining players? Nerfing the loot drops to the ground, hoping people will keep trying? Because I would not mind it being somewhere in the middle compared to now and before, but really not as low as it currently is.
So now with Quickplay being a broken mess, Strongholds being broken half the time (and getting 2 MW from them if you are extremely lucky) and Freeplay being next to useless for drops now...What exactly are we left to do in this LOOTER shooter? Because it sure ain't the story.

"We at Bioware have heard reports that drop-rates are at acceptable and rewarding levels. This can not stand. We're pulling out all the stops to release an overnight hotfix, bringing green and white loot back to Grandmaster."
Could really use a new Support ability. None have dropped.
There exist no MW or Legendary support abilities (except maybe Ranger has one?) so your only hope is to complete the challenges and craft the Epic version. How do you get that subtitle of your Colossus? I see some people with all different titles that are kinda neat. I haven't even checked mine to see if I have one.

!?!?! Legendaries just have an extra RNG attribute, not a special ability! I don't know how to express the degree of my befuddlement.
Edit: Sorry, was distracted by your enlightening info. Go to your JAVELINS menu from the Forge, and you can rename each suit config by pressing P. That's all the "title" is.

Oh god damnit, just before I refreshed the forum page I looked up at mine in the Forge and saw Default Loadout too, so lol. I thought it might have been some cool thing like a gear role.

In the Borderlands series, there were some hilarious subclass titles you could get depending on how you geared up. That would have been a fun inclusion in Anthem.

What have we learned about managing our expectations for this game?
super stoked I got than final titan for the event only to discover that the event ended before I finished killing the stupid thing, seriously you think they could have run the event for a few extra days given how hard to find those things were.....
just because your paranoid doesn't mean there not out to get you!
i'm dyslexic and grammatically challenged if you spot a mistake its because auto correct has messed up:)

Stingiest drop rate ever on those. Even after 2 runs in Freeplay on GM1 and 100 collected items (I don't pick white and green stuff anymore) I have maybe 3-4 Support drops.
