There is usually some theme music I like, but most music in a video game is background noise for me (I typically set volume at 50%).
ME … especially some of the piano pieces in ME2 and ME3 really strike a chord (snicker) …
DA2 had the credits rolling song by Flo+Mo (Varric's Theme). DAI had the one big song (The Dawn Will Come?).
But Anthem is probably the first that regular background music catches my attention … it's almost a mirror image of the ME and DA games.
Well done Ms Schachner, well done indeed.

I think everyone regrets they couldn't make that happen, but what we're looking at here isn't laziness, just an unfortunate casualty of a troubled development.
That very well may be but.... looking back at Bio's marketing, it was heavily implied that the Striders were in the game. Just look at their first Anthem trailer.
Troubled development? ... oh yes, no question that the studio's A team dropped the ball.
As far as the trailer(s) go, that's always the danger of showing off a vertical slice (in any game). From Shaun's comments, they clearly wanted to do more with the Striders, but...

Anthem – Post Launch Updateblog.bioware.com/2019/03/19/anthem-post-launch-update/by Author - Casey HudsonPosted on - March 19, 2019 General Manager of BioWare Whew. How’s everyone doing out there? It’s been a wild ride these last few weeks. On the one hand it’s been a rougher launch than expected. But then as I think back we also knew that big new online games tend to hit some kind of problem once they go live, so as much as we tested and prepared to make sure everything was ready, we were also ready for the possibility that unexpected issues might arise at launch. And we continue to be committed to responding to them. We launched a game that so many of you tell us is really fun at its core, but we also had a degree of issues that did not reveal themselves until we were operating at the scale of millions of players. We were of course very disappointed about that, as were many of you. I’ve been in there playing with you since those early days (I’m a Ranger in Edmonton Oilers colors!) and it makes me sad to hear about any issues that would hold someone back from fully enjoying the game. I take that very personally, and it’s been our top priority to get improvements out to you in the fastest, safest way. Combat Balance Meeting in AustinIn these first few weeks, our Live team has worked hard on that, delivering over 200 improvements through patches and live updates, across stability, loot and progression, customization, and more. We also continue to listen to your feedback, with more improvements to endgame loot and progression, game flow, and stability and performance coming soon – so there’s a lot more work that we intend to do. This is all a learning experience for us, and as we work to make sure the game is improved and perfected, we can’t emphasize enough how much we appreciate you staying with us. Especially because the next stage is where things really get exciting. The Story is Just BeginningAs we move through this most difficult period of launching a new game and IP, we are also working on the things that will really show what Anthem is capable of – a series of world events, new story content, and new features, that all build towards the Cataclysm later this spring. But we understand there is skepticism out there. We hear the criticisms and doubts. But we’ll keep going anyway, working hard every day on Anthem – an ever-changing world, constantly improving and growing, and supported well into the future by our team of passionate developers. With Anthem we’re trying something a little different than we’ve done before. And likewise our upcoming games will be different from Anthem. But with everything we do, we focus on staying true to our mission, creating worlds that inspire you to become the hero of your own story. So what’s most important to us is you, the players who have supported us in this journey. And we’re excited to prove that with Anthem, the best is yet to come. Casey

Early drafts featured a colony ship from Earth that had crash-landed in what was essentially the ‘Bermuda Triangle’ of space. “Survivors would have to settle, survive, and somehow thrive on a harsh and dangerous world,” writes the game’s Art Director, Derek Watts. “These ships were only in that first iteration. We took this quite far along before we switched to what Anthem would eventually become.”
What followed was a Robinson Crusoe-style struggle against the odds as your crew salvaged modules into houses, ramshackle bars, and outposts. An entire settlement is seen to have sprung up around the carcass of this ship in later concept art, and its citizens are dressed in what’s left of old Earth clothing.

With a simple short paragraph, my interest for the story is already catched by this. While with the current story / lore - I don't even know what it's supposed to be about.

It does sound cool, but probably a good thing they changed it up because that would have been very similar to Andromeda (ship, colonists, setting up outposts, terraforming the worlds, etc). It was pobably also better suited to an RPG I'm guessing. Very light spoiler... It's like they kept the Bermuda Triangle/Chaotic World premise, but flashed forward to a time where humans had already been there for centuries and forgotten the original inhabitants and settlers.

Just saying but that could still be in the games lore since humans have been living in this world for several centuries. I wouldn't really be surprised it that turns out to be true.
ps: OMG Anthem as a post destroy ending confirmed!

Jason Schreier @jasonschreierVia NPD data, this seems like a good sign for anyone worried that EA might not give BioWare the time to keep updating and fixing Anthem Good to hear. Though to be fair, BW has said Dragon Age: Inquisition was their bestselling launch title ever (and bestselling title period). But NPD might have tracked a slightly different period (Maybe ME3 sold more in the first month? Or...?)

B-BUT THE GAME FAILED! My sources on youtube said so. Just got their facts wrong?) They mentioned month sales only, since the game is still new, so maybe one thing doesn't necessarily contradicts the other about DAI being the most sold bioware game ever.
Anyway that is quite a feat for a game that was released at the END of february.

You can see the Shaper relic on the image and it's the same as in the game, in contrast to the red machine. Plus, I don't think they would be presenting the image as a hint of new (likely already largely produced) content coming.

Pretty much what I was thinking. And the leaving Earth part sounds like post-ME3 ending.
So, how many moons does the Anthem planet have?

Pretty much what I was thinking. And the leaving Earth part sounds like post-ME3 ending.
So, how many moons does the Anthem planet have?
From the look of things, in Anthem we are actually on a moon that is orbiting a planet.

Just got their facts wrong?) NPD don't track all digital sales and not world wide.

Although i never played any of BW games (anthem is my first) i'm looking forward to see what the new Dragon Age will be like.
