Ah, a reasonable ship. Unlike Anders/Fenris. Or Anders/Cullen. I can actually see Anders/Alistair happening though, lol. Although, my Amell/Cousland will always be in the way of any of Alistair's ships, lol.
I agree. I think Anders/Fenris has the whole hate/love rivalmance appeal but I have hard time getting past how much they, well, despise each other. XD I'm not opposed to it necessarily because I wanted them to that stop their shit and just be friends, but I need convincing (namely if it's fanfiction). With fan art I don't mind so much, because that's about eye-candy anyway. ;] Anders/Nathaniel is a sorta "rivalry" that makes more sense because they troll each other for fun, they aren't mortal enemies. I don't think it's my primary side-ship, but I like the idea. And I'll admit (again) that I ship Anders/Carver. Because I'm weird that way. And Anders/Karl, naturally. Anders/Cullen doesn't exist in my head. Anders/Alistair, yes. As much as Alistair is my DAO beau I can share him with Anders... (Alistair/Cullen? haha ) There aren't a lot of female characters I ship with Anders, though... Other than Hawke of course, and Surana/Amell. Hm. I suppose Isabela is slightly canon but it'd have to be pre-Justice. Not sure if I'd go with Bethany.

Anders and Carver? My Hawke would protest against it "NO, HE'S A BLOODY ABOMANTION, MY DEAR BROTHER. YOU HAVE MORE COMMON SENSE THAN TO GO OUT WITH AN ABOMANTION." And Alistair and Cullen? Would It work in my worldstate? No, I headcount that Cullen eventually found a non-warden Muirenn Surana and ended up marrying her...

Oops! You said: "bloody abomination"?! oh. Lol, spelling errors - I type wayyy too fast.
Anyhow, do you think you'll see Anders in the next game? If we do, (or at least In my case), than my canon Lavellan might give him a shot to explain himself (like not about the chantry explosion as much as wtf did he suddenly come to them off all people) before deciding to kill him/let him go (might be worthy of my Lavellan to let him go - he might already be in pain, and that's enough for my apostate mage....)

This is simple: "He was trying to change the world. He knew it couldn’t happen peacefully". This is explained by Hawke in Inquisition.

Nah, I was saying what you'd do if you saw him in DA4, that's all.

Probably we will not see him, would be too complicated to back, just as Fenris and the others. But of course we can think about it.

Because of Fenris can get rid of hate, I do not see it as impossible ... (and for example in the Legacy Fenris and Anders don't hate each other so much) No matter, I prefer Anders and Fenris with my Hawke. ...and I would like Nathaniel with my Warden Commander. There's a difference between learning to tolerate someone and loving them. I don't think Fenris has the energy or willingness to actively hate Anders, but he has zero respect/trust for him. Anders is a dangerous abomination. End of story. Anders is too devoted in his beliefs to which Fenris is directly opposed. It's how he defines himself. Being his moral opposite isn't romantic when it rejects him for what he is. They're not gonna be bffs in canon. (Hawke rivalmance for either notwithstanding because neither are Hawke.) But as I said, I'm not completely opposed to it. I'm just picky. Like an AU could work, but in-game is... eh. My Wardens all have their own loves. Which frees Nathaniel up for... others. Though I do like Nathaniel/Velanna... Well, my 2 of my Hawkes are with Anders so it's not like they'll judge. And Carver likes Merrill, which I don't have a problem with either. What can I say, I see potential there. Or, perhaps if you prefer Carver/Nathaniel? I don't honesty ship Alistair/Cullen, but it's an amusing thought. Cullen is also a favored LI in DAI for me... (I'm not going to derail us with my Cullen ships. )

Although, he's alive in my canon worldstate (didn't mean to leave him alive, but whatever.) I think my Inquistor would've questioned him, another progie (the new one) would've killed him without blinking an eye, and keep in mind my new progie's gonna be a female human/elf mage... so....

I also doubt we'll be seeing Anders or (m)any of the older crews in DA4. There are too many variables to make their cameos feel important. I'd honestly really rather not see too many old face either. For 1) hello chance for their unexpected death, 2) it might do something to their character I won't like. Anders and my Hawke are happy enough together. I just want them to have some peace, not drag them back into the fray. Please. I want to see new characters. I also don't see much of a point in bringing Anders back just to rehash what has already happened (nor would I kill him). His confrontation was done an entire game ago. We've switched gears to the next big pending disaster.
I am worried about Amaranthine Wardens, though. I'd like to at least know if they're all right.

I think Anders has a slim chance of reappearing. He already got a lot of hate because of his actions. I'd have liked to see him in DA:I but it's impossible now. Also most characters from the past games probably don't have any reason to be in Tevinter, right? Except Shale (maybe) because of the novel. (Dorian is absolutely in Tevinter since he's a magister now) IMO Awakening epilogue was somewhat ambiguous. I know characters (except Anders) can die in Awakening but I've always wondered if we'll ever get a chance to learn what happened to them after Awakening. I really liked Nathaniel and Sigrun but I think Sigrun always goes to her Calling right? What a wasted opportunity. Also, I admit I didn't like Nathaniel cameo in DA 2. He looks more handsome in Awakening IMO and it was too short.

He looks more handsome in Awakening IMO and it was too short. The epilogues aren't "accurate" is what I believe the said to battle discrepancies so I don't think they mean very much (Anders will even make a quip about his " death" in the reunion with Nathaniel). But I was referring to Corypheus. Leliana says the Ferelden Wardens disappeared along with those of Orlais, and after what was happening... yeah. I'm concerned and I'd like to know it they're alive and well. Dorian is one of the characters that I feel is likely to reappear and I'd like to see (not just because I love him but) because he's Tevinter. Fenris has a loose connection but even that varies because it's possible for him to be a slave again. They'd have to beef up his role for more than a cameo--which would simply be fanservice. There is also the matter of voice like the Fenris Thread discussed -- Emery already played Samson in DAI so that makes it feel like Fenris in DA4 is even less likely. I honestly don't expect to see him at all. (Let him (possibly) be happy with Hawke, anyway. ) I definitely miss Anders. Even though I fear it would involve something terrible a part of me would like to see him again. In theory. But I think he's too difficult to write in because he's complicated. It's not easy to involve him without his "drama" and they already did that in 2. I would've liked to see him in DAI (not so much in retrospect) but all things considered I'm ok with not seeing him again... (Even if staring at these gifs gives me the warm-and-fuzzies...) Perhaps it would be nice if Adam Howden voiced another character, at least. Aw, you didn't like Nathaniel's cameo? It's one of the few I felt was genuine -- probably because of Carver, though random Wardens during the qunari invasion was eh. (And Alistair spoke as if he and my Warden weren't as close anymore, which is crap because they're lovers.) But I get what you mean. I didn't like Alistair's appearance in 2. Fortunately he's very dashing in DAI to make up for it.

Emery voiced Samson in DA2 as well. This is not an obstacle. I think, we will se Dorian. I do not know I want to see someone except him. I saw his backstory/personal quest, I think probably I am beyond the biggest disappointment about him. (The romance was not bad.)

Fortunately he's very dashing in DAI to make up for it. This Inquisitor Anders looks very handsome I LOVE Adam Howden's voice btw. Greg Ellis has great voice too but now he's Cullen (kinda disappointed actually but still love Adam Howden) I agree that he should voice another character and I want that character to be a companion please. I really loved Nathaniel in Awakening. I thought I'd hate him before playing the game (because I only knew he's a Howe) but he's so charismatic. I wished my Warden-Commander could romance him (wanted to romance Anders mainly though) I think I mostly didn't like his looks in DA 2 and that's because of DA 2's engine. Had the same problem with Alistair. His cheeks look very plump for some reason, like he ate a lot of cheese after becoming the King. Those gifs make me sad because of the wasted opportunity of DA:I Anders. He would have looked more awesome with DA:I engine.

Oh hey we have a new thread title. Cool. Sadly I don't think we'll be seeing Anders, Hawke, or any of the DA2 crew again. DAI would have been the time to do it. I actually thought it would have been cool if they had done a DLC dealing with Weisshaupt and the Wardens. That could have been a nice little spot for a potential cameo...I mean, Anders is still technically a Warden right, and Hawke could have been involved there, as well. But Anders' story is so much tied up with the mage rebellion plot, so I don't see a reason for him to show back up now that the story line had moved on, unfortunately. Probably for the best, I guess. I did like Nathaniel's cameo, although maybe it was just the way the voice acting was delivered, but I just had a sense Hawke didn't care for him much and was slightly annoyed, haha. Is it just me?

It's like how Ellis did Anders in DAA but that changed because his primarily role became Cullen. They wouldn't switch actors for Fenris in DA4, if they intended to use him and wanted to avoid sharing a voice because of Samson they could've changed his voice in DAI because he was more minor character in 2. And I'm not sure what you mean about Dorian? You didn't like his quest?

I did like Nathaniel's cameo, although maybe it was just the way the voice acting was delivered, but I just had a sense Hawke didn't care for him much and was slightly annoyed, haha. Is it just me? Riight, I forgot that I didn't like the voice acting of Nathaniel's cameo. It was somewhat different, not like Awakening Nathaniel. I agree Hawke didn't give a damn which isn't cool, Hawke... His dialog with Anders was kinda funny though.

His dialog with Anders was kinda funny though. Yeah, Anders actually did die in my world state at the end of Awakening. Justice came in my party and Anders stayed behind. So I found it really funny. Hawke is all "Something you want to tell me about being dead?" lol. But when Warden Carver shows up, I can't help thinking Hawke doesn't like being upstaged by Nate. I don't know, that's how I saw it.

Samson had still not as big role as Fenris. (Dorian's quest was shamelessly stereotypical. I just dont want to see that in a fantasy game.) They still took an established voice and used it for a main villain in DAI. It wouldn't work to have Fenris back with the same voice and just be like "I'm Fenris, not that other guy in DAI you may or may not have met who sounded exactly like me." If they wanted to use him again they should've had someone else voice Samson -- that he still did felt like a cameo in itself to me. I could be wrong that he might appear, I just don't see it happening. Well, I'll just say I think they muddled their point in Dorian's quest by involving his sexuality in the way they did, but I don't want to derail us with Dorian. In any case he's my bff and favorite LI for a male Inq. (edit: changed my wording a little because it sounded mean.)Yeah, Anders actually did die in my world state at the end of Awakening. I went back to Vigil's Keep. So Anders was alive for me. I think I had Justice, Oghren and Nathaniel that time. The strange thing about that dialogue in 2 with Anders is that it's circumstantial. It comes way late in the game and only if Nathaniel is alive* -- it's an odd time and place to hear that for a playthrough where he died. *I'm assuming of course, since he's never died in my plays.

Maybe, you right about Emery's voice, yes. I don't worry about it so much, in my story Wilhelm Hawke and Fenris live happy (as Georg and Anders...). (The second dissapoint was, when Dorian said to my character that he have poor taste ..., I gave him a Tevinter Skyhold design – I dont have dalish... eh, nevermind ) My Anders alive the Awakening. He was in my group, when we had go for Amarantine, so I dont saw that funny dialogue, just in YouTube.
