Do you want Dragon Age 4 to have sexy, beautiful & charismatic women NPCs?
Think Miranda Lawson, Isabela, Morrigan, Triss, Leliana, Yennefer, Ciri, etc.

My answer would be yes the game should have some extremely beautiful women. Hopefully they can also have beautiful women with longer hair too.

Yes. Ugly women just make the game looks poorly made.

Sure. I hope they have another beautiful, strong, short-haired, badass woman like Cassandra.

Which Bioware game didn't have beautiful women? Our good OP would tell you, at the very least, that Anthem didn't have a lot of them. Must be the lighting, as even Miranda in ME2 could look hideous based on the lighting.

I like Miranda as a character and she is very charismatic, but I don't get why people always mention her when listing good looking female characters. Her ass is ridiculous and her face is... well I'm just going to say I think Jack is 100% prettier than she is. But I guess it all comes down to preference. I just always thought it was kind of funny when she said she was designed to be "perfect"... cause at least as far as looks are concerned she is not. And I don't want women who look like Yen and Triss. They don't even look like they even belong to the world they're supposed to live in. Little more realism for me, thanks. That said I would like the female LI's at least to be beautiful. Cassandra and Cora were both disappointing in that area. Again I liked them as characters but not as LI's. But it's hardly my biggest concern. Romance is secondary.

Which Bioware game didn't have beautiful women? Shattered Steel? I'm not even sure if you see people in that game, even like, character portraits. But I've never played it, so there could certainly be some beautiful women pilots.

KOTOR, ME series, DA series, all of them have beautiful women, so I don't see why that's a concern.

Well, there's a plot reason for why they are so unrealistically beautiful: they're both actually quite ugly, but they use their magic to look beautiful because it attracts more clients.

I was playing to your suggestion because it means that the only game without beautiful women doesn't actually have any women (or people), meaning that they all do.
Even if you take the games with lesser graphics like NWN and BG, they had character portraits of beautiful women. I wouldn't call Aribeth's blocky model "beautiful," but her portrait certainly is, and that's how she's represented.

Do you want Dragon Age 4 to have sexy, beautiful & charismatic women NPCs?
Think Miranda Lawson, Isabela, Morrigan, Triss, Leliana, Yennefer, Ciri, etc.
Depends on characterization. A great character is more beautiful to me than a pair of big tits and a big ass.
I don't find Morrigan to be beautiful in DA:O Alistair said it best in the same game: "She's a bitch." and IMHO it's the same with Miranda, Jack, and Vivienne, I don't find their attitudes when I first meet them or how they are presented in their first in-game appearances to be anything other than "she's a bitch" and there is little in ME2 and DA:I to change my opinion on them. Now I have soften a bit on Morrigan, I like her in DA:I she's still not my favorite character in the series, but I like her in DA:I whereas in if she weren't necessary to the storyline in DA:O I would've ran out of camp.
I find the female characters more beautiful if over the course of the story when I get to know them, especially without a romance option that is when they become beautiful to me.
So I find that:
Isabella becomes a beautiful woman. Cassandra is beautiful woman. Sera is a beautiful woman. Leliana is a beautiful woman. Josephine is a beautiful woman.
Merrill is a beautiful woman.
If you want a sexy beautiful woman just to be more than a sex scene then NO. I can go a porn site for that.

Hell, a lot of people (including me) romanced Tali, and we can't even see her face.

Jack is very beautiful but especially in me2 it’s framed by the very extreme tats, dress sense, extreme character & no hair which puts her in a very non traditional space. personally I don’t see the issue with women like yen/triss in the setting. I don’t see why you shouldn’t have a breadth of attractiveness of both sexes really. Cassandra isn’t to my taste but it’s perfectly fine to have such a character in the mix. as I mentioned bioware needs to get its act together regarding long hair or have the chantry enact a ban on long hair.

Yes, preferably a range for multiple tastes. Though classical or what the majority finds attractive whatever you want to call it definitely should be there.

So long as I get to have a sexy young stud for myself, those who like females can have them, in whatever shape or form they want them.
The ability to edit the face of our companions, like we could do with Hawke in DAI, would go a long way to satisfy everyone.

For me it's like compared to other men and women in the game (and especially compared to Gerald! why would those goddesses fight over an ugly old man like him?) they are so perfect and look more like modern day Hollywood actresses rather than actual people in a medieval fantasy setting. They're so flawless and lovely to look at that it's just too distracting and immersion breaking. Compare them to DAI's Leliana and Morrigan who are both absolutely beautiful but not in overly sexualisised way.

As for why they are interested in Geralt. Given their character stories i don't find it at all strange that they would to be attracted to the strong silent enigmatic type who represents something completely different from their clique.
If we are going to be the heart of Tevinter might, wealth, magic i see no reason why we wouldn't get more glam.

Meh. I'd personally like to see some plain and average-looking women with smarts and imagination and experience and humor as their big draws. There's no surer sign of a juvenile wish-fulfillment fantasy produced by either childish or manipulative developers than every noteworthy female character being drop-dead gorgeous for no reason whatsoever. Methinks we need some world-weary widows and single mothers in their late thirties who have been losing their looks for ten years and had to deal with it. And plain young ladies who take pleasure in rubbing beautiful women's faces in the dirt at whatever they do every day, and bitterly resent any concession made to anyone prettier than they are. Or who have thrown their lives away trying to force themselves to embody some feminine ideal and reaped the painful, lonely consequences. It's not surprising, though. Most writers are sex-starved nerds with no idea how women work at all, and it's much easier to sharpen those cheekbones and narrow that waist and find a musical voice actress than to put any particular thought into imagining complex or dynamic female characters who have and do make realistic choices and can't just be reduced to perfect girlfriend ideals with a side of righteous cause to make them look "empowered". And really, male fictional archetypes have had centuries to develop and multiply and adapt to different social atmospheres, so we have oceans of inspiration for cool and interesting male characters with various twists and quirks, written by men who at least have a vague idea how men can function. We have quite a bit less to draw on for female characters, which is why I think we should be making more of an effort. And get out of this pathetic awkward rut. "She's so beautiful and... curious?... and she believes very strongly and doesn't take shit from anybody and that makes her... strong?"

As you can see, the looks of female characters are a rather central topic regarding this dude's BSN activity. And don´t forget this Thread.
I already post this in another thread but what the hell. Calpernia
Harding
By the way Cassandra is a very sexy, beautiful and charismatic woman. Especially for a female warrior.

Surprised you have included an Asian woman. These types of posts usually make a point to only list white women. A nice refreshing change I suppose.
