Bugs + Issues + The Likes

I'll do a test with my boyfriend's monitor using percentages instead of pixels. People still use smaller screens in 2016.

If anyone's like me, I have a tendency to go back up and hit the home page button. Everyone works differently. We'll see how this goes. If consensus goes, I'll remove something.

I did some trial runs with some of the themes.  Really liking the dark ones like BSNuf, and the femshephard one
However, all the modified themes seem to have a problem with attached images/gifs/videos when there are lots of them.
This Animu thread, page 2, was tested with:
themes BSNuf Dark and BSN Legacy F, and M.



So, those posts with lots of images/gifs added in one post, just show lots of blank when scrolling down half a screen or more, until at the very end of said post. I tested this with various modded themes, first on the Behind the monitor Git Gud thread, but then saw even this longer blankness in the Animu thread.
The only themes I noticed that did NOT have this problem, were the Default, and BSN Theme. Those show all the gifs and pics just normally (on the right in my example). And as pointed out on the right above, for some reason, some posts above vroom's post, shows all their attached pics just fine, even though there are lots of them. I wonder, what makes such a difference between a few posts?

I was wondering, could this be just on my laptop, or has anyone else noticed this? I pondered about it in the behind the monitor thread, and someone suggested testing it with other themes, so I did. (I can't test it myself on other computers right now.)
I have this as a larger pic available, as well as another horribly copypasted example from the BTM git gud thread, if Yummy wants them sent via message - if needed.

EDIT: Oh yeah, some hours ago earlier today, I noticed the same with the femshepherd theme - back then it didn't show just the black blankness, but instead it showed the fempsheperd background picture instead, when I was scrolling down the BTM git gud thread, where it had several pictures in a row (no matter if they were in Spoilers or just generally below each other). Later this evening while testing, it showed the same black blank space with that femshep theme, too. If this helps.

yeah no problem There's no hurry for these either, anyway.

OK, I also tested this on hubby's older laptop. It's connected to a large tv screen, but the screen res is 1600x900 on that attached laptop. With that resolution, the Animu thread shows even worse; there's more stuff invisible there. Like the first posts on page 2, that showed fine on my laptop, won't show at all on his with that resolution. Instead, he sees the background image of the BSNuf Theme, for most of that thread page. Wow.
So, clearly this is a resolution related problem with laptops' mediocre resolutions..? And damn, my laptop's less than a year old and not the worst, cheapest crap either (ok, not expensive but still).

Anyway, at least on mine, I can see all gifs, pics and videos just fine, when using the default themes at least, so not a huge problem. I can work around that with them. But thought to report it anyway, in case others notice this.
(sniff, the femshep and BSNuf were pretty).

I guess my only suggestion is, although light font on dark backgrounds look cool, I think I prefer to read dark font on light backgrounds.

Found another one. The horizontal rule used to top the sig gets obscured in darker posts.

I skimmed the replies in this thread for a dupe, but I admit I might have missed some comment about this. If it is a known issue, please ignore.

For the BSN Theme, the Preview edit mode has a different color background (dark blue) than the actual post (gray). This makes it difficult to pick text colors. Screenshots.

I did a spot check of BSN Omega and it does not have this problem, both backgrounds are white. Although the Preview font size might be slightly smaller than the post size in Omega, not sure though, didn't inspect.
