The Official Francesca Invidus Thread

This is true of a lot of mages. After all Dorian is a lot more powerful than we really see in game. He was party to Alexius' time travel research and everything else Fade connected. He can comfortably talk magical technicalities with Solas without seeming out of his depth. He was also something of a child protege. So the potential is there and he knows it, which is why his greatest fear is temptation (to abuse his power).

So whilst I would agree with the assessment to some degree, I question the inclusion of people like Wynne on the list when there are other mages more powerful than her that they have left off, for example Feynriel, which makes it rather suspect. (Okay so Feynriel can be made tranquil: reversible, but Wynne can be dead in some playthroughs, as can Fenris, so that is not sufficient reason to rule him out). Feynriel is a Dreamer and once sent to Tevinter is clearly developing his talents to an extent that he seems capable of matching the abilities of the ancient elven dreamers. Like Solas he is capable of killing people over a considerable distance and he didn't even need to have them asleep to do this. If the writers were willing to entertain it, he could be a serious threat to Solas (but of course they won't)



Do not disagree with this but I don't think anyone would.

The words of that song do fit Francesca so well. I hope she gets to stay with Vaea and Ser Aaron as she deserves a better future than stuck in Tevinter among the sharks as Vivienne puts it.
