I much prefer the original, but at least it's still easily recognisable as Bioware. It's too contemporary and tidy for my tastes; the original was a bit more emotive and RPGesque. It was? I have to admit, as someone who may look at this thing differently (I have a degree in graphic design), the old BW logo didn't bring anything 'gamey' to mind, wasn't particularly exciting and also it was just outdated, design-wise. It gave me a very strong 'late 90-early 2000' vibe, without knowing when it was actually designed. *goes to check* It was in use since '98

"Rustic" maybe, but "RPGesque" is only there for those for whom it triggers nostalgia (in other words - not me) hence it's not inherently "RPGesque".
