Honestly, I'm most looking forward to just finding out more about his plan, its ramifications and the actual implications of the Evanuris' resurgence, since they're only very vaguely alluded to in Inquisition.
All this grandstanding and overthinking and hysterical troll logic virtue signaling based on complete guesswork is pretty tiring, and increasingly pointless. It'll be nice to put at least a few nails in that coffin, instead of just speculating on and getting into arguments about hypothetical scenarios we don't actually know whether are relevant to the games because all we have is Solas' own short and melodramatic summaries.
...Even if the answers themselves prove to be dissatisfying in terms of imagination and thematic value. Andromeda did a real number on my faith that Bioware is capable of pulling off such an ambitious storyline anymore. But as the man himself says, I'd cherish the chance to be wrong on that count.

Andromeda was the first game in a brand new storyling, Dragon Age 4 is the 4th (or 3rd) of a continuing storyline with established lore and (so far) escelating tensions.

At some point the PC should face certain peril by being tossed in a pool of molten cheese with only a small raft of bread to help. The PC must eat the cheese using the raft without drowning in cheese or exploding from over eating. The PC's adventure is therefore a voyage of discovery, of fondueing herself. The PC should gon through the game with a certian joie de brie. Hopefully, Bioware will swiss it up as well as avgoiding stilton dialogue and have the bad come to parm.
But any cheese reference will do!

Andromeda was the first game in a brand new storyling, Dragon Age 4 is the 4th (or 3rd) of a continuing storyline with established lore and (so far) escelating tensions. If you had written a roleplaying game about humanity trying to colonize a new galaxy, and the synopsis read "The bold explorers run into an empire of dull and humorless Nazis terrorizing a vibrant and compassionate species of aliens, and have to earn their trust by helping defend their territories in order to get to build settlements one at a time. Oh, and there's another long-dead and practically all-powerful species who have left convenient plot technology all over the place." then I don't care what sorts of involved and introspective narratives you'd written before that, I'd be pretty worried that you'd lost your mojo. Maybe the fact that they're continuing an established story-line is going to help. I hope so. We'll see.

About what you wrote, more about the split between them and Orzammar, whether or not they really did what Codex entry: Letters from the Past suggests (and maybe more similar stuff)... in other words, gimme all new info

Maybe the fact that they're continuing an established story-line is going to help. I hope so. We'll see. I have to admit I share some of your misgivings and not simply because of Andromeda, which in fact I've never played because my PC wasn't good enough to run it. I think back further to ME1 and our confrontation with Sovereign. Wasn't he just great. "I am beyond your comprehension. I am Sovereign.” "My kind transcends your very understanding. We are each a nation, independent, free of weakness. You cannot even grasp the nature of our existence.” Sounded good. I couldn't wait to find out what was behind that mistakenly arrogant machine that I destroyed at the end of game. Then we scroll forward to ME3 and apparently a race of giant squids asked an AI to develop a solution to the problem of organics developing AIs that will eventually kill them and it came up with the idea of having a load of AIs to kill off the organics just at the point where they were capable of inventing the AIs that would kill them and started off the process by killing the majority of the giant squids that had programmed it in the first place. Once you had got your mind around that convoluted and illogical explanation for the existence of the Reapers apparently I really shouldn't take the option of pulling the plug on the whole sorry business because the AI tells me it will just happen all over again. However, if you just take the nice central green path we can all be just the same as one another in synthetic/organic harmony. Whoopie! Yep, it turned out Sovereign was wrong all along. It was quite easy to understand once you got down to the nitty gritty. It made no sense whatsoever but that wasn't because my puny mind was incapable of understanding it. Now Solas reminds me a bit of Sovereign. He burbles on a lot about why he is going to do what he is and how he really has no choice, which sounds a lot like the reasons he gave for his last big mistake but nevertheless thinks he is entitled to act the way he does by reason of his superiority of being. However, unlike Sovereign he claims that he won't tell us more because we might understand too well. If we are doomed anyway, at least come out and say it. Then may be we can come up with our own solution. I just hope that when we catch up with him for our next controlled question and answer session, his explanation isn't going to be as daft as the Hologram kid's was.

I really want to discover more about Kal-Sharok and if those screen shots of dwarven statue and thaig in the mountains are not Kal-Sharok I shall be extremely disappointed. Still they are close to the Anderfels and the Grey Wardens, so I think there will be a link between the two that does possibly also include further Hormack like horrors. In a way, though, I'd quite like it if the dwarves of Kal-Sharok had managed to survive without using something connected with the ancient elves, may be making their own form of contact with a Titan or something.

I am very tentatively excited for the game. I do want Bio to take their time to make it the best game possible, but I also feel like the time since DAI has been too long for a sequel. For now I'm trying to be optimistic that they are refining what they want the game to be and the end product will be great. MEA and Anthem are worrying.
If I can take the concept art as likely but not guaranteed locations, I will be very excited to visit many diverse locations. I would very much like DA4 to visit multiple nations rather than follow the previous games in remaining in one or two countries. If we're going the Trespasser route and using eluvians to travel far and wide this would make sense.
I'm looking forward to seeing more about companions as the months go on. I do feel like there is loads of potential going north for interesting companion backgrounds.

I hope it's not ancient elves as well. Dwarves are crafty enough, there's no reason to add yet another thing to "elves did it" list. I mentioned it somewhere before, but it'd be interesting to see Harvesters again. With how close Kal-Sharok's relationship with the Imperium seems, I wouldn't be surprised if at one point they tried something similar to what was done in Amgarrak Thaig. And even if it's not from Kal-Sharok, there're still the ones that survived from Amgarrak.

He's got every right to be as salty as he wants. The product isn't shaping up to his expectations and he should call it out. I did so, even with the things I was hearing about as far back as DA2.
