After doing some sluggish firefights, I figured out hacking. So suddenly my approach to missions turned into a hackathon. Breach a guy or a camera, Short circuit everything I can see, rest for a sec to give my skills and implants time to fill my RAM quick, do it again. So now I am grabbing every perk to increase my hacking time, damage, etc. I just cleaned some tunnels by Short circuiting (basically range hack stun) anything that came into my visual range. It's hilarious. I really like the hacking in the game. You can even "craft" quickhacks...and you get components by hacking access points. I also really like my tech shotgun. The "boom blast" is glorious . I'm starting to wonder if I should stick with stealth, ahahah. I had to use a weapon because I ended up "involved" in some streetgang skirmish by just coming nearby. I actually wanted to stealth-kill one but I got spotted still a bit far away from the target and instead of reloading I went with the flow...of bullets. Now I'm wondering if I should finish the prologue main quests first, or do side content around Watson instead... I need Eddies!

SofaJockey How do you take screenshots from the Xbox? Been looking for a way to do it. Anyway I'm really enjoying the game so far, however the graphic are shall we say fuzzy. Open photo mode. (press both sticks) Adjust to taste. Remove HUD. Screenshot it.

I watched one of those tips YT and it turns out it's better to level up than to keep doing the main story all the way through. Grinding. Yes, grinding through the SQs around the map, etc. The higher level the char, the more dialogue options there is in conversations and different endings for the story.
It's also impossible to turn off the scrap junk skill once it's gotten. It's a great way to get more mats but not for money. To get money, hack into machines, etc.
Sneak, hack and KO, then kill the unconscious mobs is the way to earn double xps.
Loot dropped by boss is random so if you're looking for better rewards, you can take the trouble to repeat the boss fight until the dropped loot is the one you want.

Good old bugs... Those drones didn't know what hit 'em. Biotic Charge can't phase through elevators apparently... Very minor spoiler I guess. I remember someone here commenting that bugs are funny and all until they ruin a plot moment. Truer words... LOL. Poor Jackie! That damn pistol shaped neural chip! Haha.

Just met up with Parker and Alvarez. I absolutely love the new conversation system they have. It's technically still a cutscene that's been directed, but giving the player control of the camera makes everything feel more natural. Evelyn is one smooth character.

Anyone found a use for the "Cool" attribute? I have seen it pop a few times for conversations, so I increased it a bit (hate to miss those Persuade checks, amirite?). But now every time I use it, V just makes some smartass comment with zero effect. No use for the "Reflexes" either. But "Body" and especially "Technical ability" are extremely useful thus far in quests, dialogue and roaming. "Intelligence" I honestly haven't seen pop up in conversations, but it's a hacker's bread and butter anyway.

Okay so just started playing. I'm about lvl 4 now, but was wondering does anyone know how to consistently lvl up the cold blooded progression? I'm assuming it has something to do with getting multiple kills in a row, but I'm not sure. Anyway thanks if you have the answer, and here's my V.

It seems it's a sort of a Perusade skill, but more often it just offers a snarky remark. But I already found a dialogue or two where it was somewhat useful.

But I already found a dialogue or two where it was somewhat useful. It's more persuade/intimidate and it is supposed to show how "cool you are under pressure". So throwing snarky under pressure might be how the devs saw it? I remember devs talking like in 2018 that success depended on more than the attribute level for it (I think street cred might be involved?). Outside of that no idea.

I think I found my grove with this restarted character.
I'm punching people to "not death". It's technically none-lethal, as long as they don't fall from height like that poor tigerclaw lady a few minutes ago. You really need the Rush Brawler ability to not die right away...and use cover smartly too.
I like "NCPD assault" stuff. I just did one where I basically assaulted a tiny Tiger Claw base on a rooftop and there was another where the guy assaulted ran off in a car when I grabbed the attention of the bad guys.
I did a Gig that felt very DX-like, I had to find another way into an apartment because I didn't have enough Tech to unlock the door.

Got the double jump. it was either that or a nice looking implant that negates enemy hack attacks. Well, so far no hacker was a danger, but I had a gut feeling... Wouldn't you know it, 5 minutes after upgrading and jumping around like a bunny, I get a task with "Very Low" danger tag to hunt a cyberpsychosis target. As it turned out, the most dangerous foe I have met thus far in the game was a lady that rose from a fridge. She hacked me, burned me, slashed me. Almost killed me twice. And that's AFTER I hacked her, caused her malfunctions, blinded her, etc. I want to be like her when I grow up
The game has a lot of funny glitches. Only one was almost game breaking - a story critical NPC was being ported all over the place and I needed to loot him. Sometimes when Johnny smokes, his cigarettes multiply and remain in the air. But that may just be a glitch in his matrix (ha ha, ain't I funny with the discrete puns).

I'm just wandering around doing gigs, etc after talking to Evelyn. Just finished a cyber crazy whatever mission and a fist fight. V is now up to level 5, 7 street cred. Slow but I haven't been able to play much yesterday due to some RL issues.
Money is now nearly 20k, V will be able to pay off what she owe to Viktor.

V was quite busy. She meet with Evelyne "The Client" Parker (voiced by Kari Wahlgren if my ears aren't lying to me). Did some Braindance editing. And then got lost in Waston. Like really, who build city with three floors? Dealt with a bunch of gigs for the local fixer. Two cyberpsycho were dealt with too (they seems to all be weirdass mini-bosses). Some gang war as well. She managed to make enough money to pay back Vik, 21k eddies...with 10k left in her pocket and then managed to get back 20k over a few more gigs and dealing with the local gangs. Whoever said money was stingy just didn't bother doing jobs and dealing with gangs it seems. Oh and she "saved" a guy with a malfunctioning dick too. And like every city-based games, NPC cars needs to move faster...I might have caused a few accidents. My V is also changing cloth every 10 minutes because of all the loot. Some aren't pretty, but it's functional so don't care right now (playing melee requires high armor when everyone is shooting at you).

I find saves and AI reaction can be BS-ting.
Example; I saved at a point I disable the camera. Then I stealthily moved but then failed to notice a mob on the right turning around as I rounded the corner several seconds later. oops, ok, I reloaded to the point where I disable the camera. At that save point, there's no alarm. There should not be.
But guess what? The mobs took alarm. Why should they go on the alert when the save point was when they were unaware? It's so annoying (has happened a few times) I mostly never bother to try to reload again or stealth any more but went all out to kill.
