So I managed to complete Down on the Street without experiencing the Takemura no-talking bug, and without fast-forwarding 23 hours like CDPR specified in their workaround. I just did the normal sleep and doing activities to let time progress and he eventually called. It might not be enough to definitively determine if this is a 1.06 to 1.1 update issue, but at least I know now that it’s not consistent, at least with a playthrough with nothing but 1.1 saves. I’d still recommend creating a manual save just as the Wakako dialogue ends in her office just in case until the hotfix is released, but at least that’s out of the way. Now that my test dummy’s served its purpose, I guess I oughta beeline to the end and let V meet the fate he deserves.

![Talking with Wakako Okada](https://i.imgur.com/MEzqsD1.png) After successful mission Automatic Love, which is one of the better missions with lot of actions, I visited Wakako Okada. We had a good long talk Wakako Okada and I, interesting life with 5 husbands and 9 sons, and have to say, she sends one on interesting jobs (for example Greed Never Pay) and pays well. Strolled around the marketplace vis-a-vis her office and ended up with a doll for some good times.

Also, did you find it odd that none of his friends seemed to know of his diagnosis in the Aldecaldos ending? It almost made me wonder if we were meant to assume that he doesn't tell them. Alt will give V the estimate before leaving Mikoshi, but every ending reveals this. Panam is aware of V's problem though, but there's dialogue you can suggest that you'll search for a solution, with Panam insisting that her contacts will help. Anders Hellman is the only one that gives a more thorough breakdown of what's happening, but the key difference is that the Arasaka ending has the chip removed from V completely, whereas storming Mikoshi by force always has V permanently bonded with the relic, effectively having it be an inextricable part of their nervous system. I already have my fair share of headcanon to work with on this, mostly involving immunosuppressant cyberware that protects V's neurons from the body's natural defenses as a result of the DNA overwrite lol.

On my way to meet Panam and bounced into some Arasaka robots hanging out at Afterlife. Guess they also need to chill out from time to time.
They appear random; pool table room, next to the arms dealer or at the game table. Guess no one has a chance in a game with the Arasaka robots.

I think I'm mostly through for now. I can say that melee isn't really my cup and I always gravitate heavily to handguns, SMGs and SR. The assault rifle I don't use so much. I've explored tech weapons with good results, my favourite being the Burya handcannon and tech precision rifles.
I've used Satara tech shotte with a bit success too.
Smartguns excel in their sniper form where you can quite easily bend around cover overhead and score the headshot. Close range is not so good with the arcing often clipping into obstacles. Especially painful when targetting limbs.
Power stuff I dont even notice when it does its thing. I tried the trajectory implant and ballistic copro hands - I'd rather take Ashura smartlinked or a straight tech solution.
Hacking is powerful tool that you can wipe entire zones with. Later ping soft is OP but clutters your view with every bloody device and isn't so great. It prioritises enemies though for targetting which is a bit painful at lower tiers.
Time dilation I never found useful for me.
Stealth is quite fun and works, but you get on faster with brute force.
Loot is quite static and not too varied. Crafting is useful but kinda limited in variety and late usefulness. It is a massive sink for perk and attribute points.
Cyberware has some important gameplay like leg implants for more verticality and upgrades to melee and toughness. This can make character super powerful. It is also a bit limited, but I come from the tabletop and it must be a nightmare to code all the gameplay for the myriad of options. I'm aware there needs to be some limits. It still might be nice to have a bit more, even just cosmetics. Bodyshaping is a big thing in the setting.
The setting is not what I imagined but viable. I always imagined a grittier, dirtier, more violent setting. I miss the combat zone. The fixed firefights arent't the cream. In terms of crafting an urban open world with near future flair they quite nailed it. It is believable, looks great, has good population and decent activities. This is a strength to exploit further.
More gear in the shops, more recipes to craft would do a bit for variety in gameplay. More "radiant" procgenned events and activities would fit in nicely as well.
Story-wise I'd say it's a good ride. They took established lore and wove it into a storyline. Nothing groundbreaking, but Pondsmith did the work and all they had to do is pick it up and make a story of it. Game picks up heavily on braindance, perversion and artificial personalities and what happens if you had consciousness transition to digital existence. There is a bit philosophical implications, not too heavily presented. We see the world is mostly dictated by corpos but we mostly need not care except for Arasaka. The world is a bit richer than just Arasaka, the rest falls a bit off in comparison.

NPC traffic obliterating itself. For gameplay related stuff a reload usually fixes it for me. Then on rough terrain you get the inexplicable sudden death occasionally. So climbing is best done in urban area.

I reported the nasty immortal enemies bug and Code Projekt Red answered me within hours and asked details and saved game files, where the game play results in the bug.
I have identified 3 situations and made detailed descriptions, on how and what to do to repeat the bugs. Hopeful, they will identify the triggers and we will get a fix soon.
It is possible to continue the game play avoiding the bug triggers, but I really would like to attend Jackie's funeral.
As I wrote earlier, I did not encounter any bugs with first run as Nomad, only some glitches. But here second run as Corpo and setup as netrunner like character, a bummer with that immortal enemies bug.

Yes, it is like the dystopian dying ending is chosen to show some kind of more semi-intellectual writing instead of a good old happy ending, where happy ending is regarded as inferior intellectual.
Now, the story could still have ended dystopian in best cyberpunk spirit, but with optional saving of V. At least the Nomad ending gives a hint of hope, where we hear Panam says, they may find help.
I would have loved an ending, where V can live - be it with the engram at a cost and continue his/hers adventures in Night City. This of course cannot be done easy with the 3 different main endings, which again fork into separate ways ( meaning at least 7 possible endings). Like Mass Effect 3 such multiple endings make a continuation nearly impossible.

Got cyberpunk for my laptop.
Finally loaded it up...made up my V...prepared to start the game...
And boom. Crashed 😂.
There goes another 30 minutes in the character creation screen.
Although...would it be too much to ask for lipstick colour that didn't come out of a kid's face paint kit?

Be sure to have updated GPU drivers and if you have a GeForce GTX use Geforce Experience to optimize set settings for Cyberpunk 2077.

Yep I made the rookie mistake of not updating the graphics driver. But it worked out for the best anyway, I made a much nicer looking one...until she appeared in the first scene and looked like trash I did launch it through geforce experience, not sure if I optimised or not, but will check again tonight ![:hue:](//storage.proboards.com/6576594/images/ylSGZfoaGJIOHQXDloNH.png)
