I'm at level 25. I've done all the main quests up to meeting up with Takemura after the whole "incident" I've cleared...a lot of the NCPD missions, and quite a few gigs. I'm only playing on easy this time around, I figured the 4th PT only needs to be as hard as I make it I think I'm on my 7th playthrough right now. I've started a couple ones with the new game plus feature with the "Respector" mod. I've also been using the CITY H4CK mod to open up various doors and gain access to disabled elevators. It really is a fun mod to use. Today, I found a precision rifle that developers left in a locked apartment. I believe it is the new Kolac precision rifle that was added in the 1.5 patch. Apparently the rifle is made by the Serbian company Rostović. The weapon model is still not finished. Hopefully it will be officially added to the game in the next patch.

I keep running/double jumping across traffic. I keep getting hit. I keep jumping and squealing each time it happens because it did not just happen 5 minutes ago Nearly dropped the controller last time. I'd be terrible watching a movie with jump scares.

So, I didn't do anything today in this game, but will again soon and it seems several of you are into 3+ plays. I have questions - I never saw a cat I could pet. Did I miss a quest? Is this V's lot in life? The lizard?! How? Is this the one stolen in the prologue? I want a pet in my apartment Are there additional character points in the world, like there are Perk points? I was disappointed that I was unable to increase some of my attributes more, despite still managing to be fairly OP. This may be missing by design for replay, but I also may have missed it. I did not complete all quests by a long shot. I missed a bunch of iconic weapons.... Were these mostly gained from NCPD events? These are the only ones I didn't exhaust to the best of my ability (had 2 broken quests that could not complete.) Anyways, regarding crossing traffic, lmao. I am also a mad double-jumping traffic hopper, and I got squished far less often than I should have if I'm being honest. Still, it is jarring every time

The pet cat you can only get after you get dragged back from death's door by Takemura. You can then head left from the apartment and pick up the shard "feed teh cat" Once you find some cat food loot from around the area in Watson, you can leave it out and then "adopt" Nibbles. I think also because in my country we drive on the other side or the road, I automatically walk in front of oncoming traffic

I never saw a cat I could pet. Did I miss a quest? Is this V's lot in life? Yeah, you can get a cat after the mission Playing for Time and his name is Nibbles. Unfortunately, you can't really pet him but you can take shower with him. Well, kind of.

It seems I left a lot out on the field in my first run of Cyberpunk.
V2.0 is post-Heist, but hasn't yet got the details on Helmann from Rogue. While I was waiting for the day to elapse (rather than sit on the stool at the Afterlife for 24 hours) V did some roaming and I encountered two side quests I have absolutely zero memory of. But they - one especially - would've substantially improved my opinion of the game. In one, V walked into this park that was obviously intended to be a place of beauty and reflection for the overwrought denizens of NC, but had been overtaken by tweakers and gangbangers. On a bench in the park was a monk who wanted V to try a meditation BD. She decided to pay him, rather than take it for free (karma, bro) and it was a stunningly beautiful nature scene. And that was it. I don't know if it has any importance down the road, or if it was just a moment of reflection and peace for V, but either way - a nice touch.
The second was in Pacifica and involved fixing a rollercoaster for the only idle gang of people in NC that doesn't want to shoot you. Got it running and took the first ride. It was done well, and the rollercoaster felt like it was going to tear itself from the tracks at any moment (an addition for the VR version of the game?).
Neither of these 'quests' would be considered particularly impressive in isolation, but when you contrast them with everything else V does they can reveal the humanity that CDPR was able to give Geralt, but V always seemed to lack (from my perspective).
Oh - also transported the worlds best surgeon in the boot (trunk) of a car, killing most of the Tygers along the way. And blew a bunch of fools to hell after their minds were warped by a rogue Delamaine.

I started this quest very late... may be that 1.5 fixed its spawn in general. My new game V, which was really a 1.1 not 2.0, was also pleasantly surprised by this quest and you should pursue it. It will show up as optional mystery sides on the map.
I also missed the rollercoaster repair, although I spent time trying to navigate the broken ferris wheel. Rogue Delamain SQ is fun, especially when you meet an old "friend" from Valve games
ETA: seven , we have changed wet food brands, and this stuff smells like human food. I kind of want to eat it, am pretty sure it would be a little bland but otherwise delicious. Tiki Cat.... having your sweetest baby come down with a very rare condition that is mysterious, deadly and difficult to treat, we had to find anything that our cats wouldn't reject, as they are finicky as hell but she desperately needs the hydration. This stuff works for them. Of course it costs a lot

I just finished that part off the other night. And did the roller-coaster, which I had never had before either. It was cool, and not something I would probably want to do in VR @gaben7 - good to hear you've found something that works! Eh, do you ever hear of a cat who isn't fussy and demands the best?

As seven had mentioned, yes there are further encounters with this mysterious monk. I believe it impacts the ending, and foments a further discussion with Misty later.

Hey, I got a couple answers to my questions, but not the one I care about.
I like cheese. Are there any character points (not perk points) that can be gained from the world, outside of "leveling"?
My V got two stats to 20 - Int and Tech Ability. Put most of my other points in cool and reflexes for ninja time.
Getting a third stat near 20 means ignoring putting any points outside of your main 3, at least how I played. Maybe I missed attribute points in the world that were attached to a SQ?
Probably not, but let me know if you can

No, you can only get two branches to full 20 in Cyberpunk. Maybe when they do NG+ you’ll be able to max out everything else.

My V got two stats to 20 - Int and Tech Ability. Put most of my other points in cool and reflexes for ninja time. Sort of a question prompted by your question, as my current - still early - V has 18 Tech (to allow crafting of Legendary items). Is the final perk of Tech worth it? It gives a percentage upgrade to crafted item stats, right? Or am I thinking of something else? I just remember looking at the perks and thinking 'how much utility am I really going to get from this?' I've switched to upgrading 'Cool' and investing perks in brawler - for the moment, although that will change as my current build with gorilla arms is kind of ridiculous.

Gorilla Arms are funny. Seemed so overpowered to me that I stopped using them.
As for that last Crafting perk, hard to say if it's worth it. At that point, anything that wasn't Adam Smasher died with a thought in it's general direction. I did choose that perk, and was still a killing machine. Might take more experienced eyes than mine to see that difference.

Curious what the ‘expansion’ will end up looking like. Before release I was hoping for the size of stuff that TW3 got but think that ship has sailed.

Yah, have we heard any rumors relating to the expansion? Whether I replay depends kinda heavily on what it's about and when it's post or pre-ending.

Gorilla arms V tore through the three Beat On The Brat adversaries. The twins? Pfft. My dead Grandmother hits harder. The hard luck fighter with the sweet ride wasn't much more of a contest, but I let him keep the money I put down for the bet. That girl of his is hella pregnant. The car handles like a dog, but it has six wheels and looks like the porn version of the 1980s Batmobile. The ex-army guy wasn't difficult either, but when I wanted him to hand over the sniper rifle he wagered, he got his goons to attack! He hit like a rhino, so I had to skip out of his way and open fire. No great loss to society there, but I still thanked him for his service before taking the rifle. The sweet little lady at Rancho Coronado is proving more troublesome, however, so I'll level up a bit more before taking her on, I think. Decided to zip around collect the tarot cards - because why not? - and got them pretty quickly. The spring loaded legs upgrade is useful. Had a chat with Misty and now there are two more cards to find. Biower plz. Preorder cancelled. Afterwards, went to Clouds to chase down a lead on Evelyn. The security footage is...unpleasant. After getting some more info, headed to Jig Jig Street to find the purveyor of quality BDs. Once the BD from the studio in question was analysed, Judy and V headed over to the likely location and V slowly but surely took them all down. Even picked up some Ninja points because she decided to put them all down the laundry chute. Found Evelyn and got her out. Now at Judy's apartment about to go in and talk to her.

Finished a few more gigs for Wakado and...some Mexican guy and can't recall the name of right now. Also wrapped up the Delamaine SQ. This time, decided not to reset. Silverhand was dead against it, and following my MELE experience choosing Control, I decided that all sentient life was worthy. Didn't have the necessary Intelligence to merge the personalities, so destroyed the core, leaving the divergent taxis in their corporeal forms. Still got a free car, so I'm good. Met the monk twice more, and I guess I'm finished with him now? Fire and Air were the last two meditations, and this time, he left a little gift. There was also a SQ where a painting had crashed from the moon? Apparently it's going to be worth money Trying to tie off a bunch of the side content before meeting Panam, Takemura or the Voodoo Boys.
