Stumbled upon this by accident when doing some multidetonation tests. As it turns out, Atlas receives 24% less damage from biotic, tech and fire combos (didn't check cryo but why should it be an exception...). Didn't save much numbers but you can reproduce it. Other bosses seem to be fine, didn't check mooks. ...you probably knew this subconsciously since ever edit: numbers. Drell Adept vs Platinum Atlas Starting shields: 27422 After Reave: 27044 (54 damage/s * 7 s = 378 damage = 27422 - 27044 – OK) After Cluster Grenade: 24494 (3 shrapnels * 850 damage/shrapnel = 2550 damage = 27044 - 24494 – OK) After Reave + Cluster Grenade: 19882 (24494 - 2550 * 4/3 - 378 - 250 * 4.3875 * 0.76 = 19882 – OK) // * 4/3 because of the biotic bonus to 1 shrapnel Human Sentinel vs Platinum Atlas Starting shields: 27422 After Warp: 27208 (27422 - 27208 = 214... cannot say why) After Throw: 27143 (27208 - 27143 = 65 – how does Throw damage work again?) After Warp+Throw: 25101 (27143 - 214 - 65 - 235 * 4.3875 * 1.5 * 1.5 * 0.76 = 25101 – OK) // 235 – base damage of a 5+6 combo

Been trying cluster nades, it proved that if multiple detonators arrive at the same frame, only the innermost removed layer of priming result with a combo, the rest is lost does that happen a lot when u chuck them nade at point blank range ? And that mean the first combo is overwritten. 120 fps advised ;p

Maybe this is why I prefer to take them down with a Typhoon.
Hunter Mode, so I can see them through the walls. Tactical cloak so that I am undetected and unsuspected, proximity mine (evolved for damage) and let them have it. AP or Drill ammo is nice too.
I always felt that those Atlas machines were extras tough, unless you use a flamer anyways. Or guns.

I still think Cerbie is the best faction. Diverse roster, diverse abilities, not too much bullshit. You should have seen how they massacred MEA MP. Shields so high it broke the UI and the bar wouldn't move when damaging it. It'd been hard to notice it move a pixel after cause 100K damage with pea shooters and wet noodle powers. Yes phantoms were annoying often, but then again we had Batarians smashing their faces off, Krogan running melee and occasionally lashing them off the map.
OK they WERE annoying but the spooning always appeased me.

i tried to test that shit instead of working, and god did i suck seems indeed the damage are reduced and i got 24% clearly in one test. then i sucked and used power with dot or throw whose damage is ...
i m quite disapointed to discover (again i guess) that warp debuf doesnt apply prior to detonation when warp is used as a detonator. One of my test, though, tended to show warp debuff applied to warp dot itself after one or 2 ticks

warp did extra damage , did u calculate warp damage yourself or use kalence ?

Mine is here : atlas shield 9579 after warp damage 1082
warp damage on impact 183 and ~3 for each dot ticks
debuff not applied means TB for 1181.25
or warp 183 + 76% TB= 183+897.75=1080.75 consistent with rounding stuff or maybe a bit of force damage from the TB
conclusion : warp debuf not applied. 24% reduction on DisAmo TB on atlast shield confirmed. I also forgot warp combo boost 4B is only working on biotic ones despite the phrasing

The damage is tested, Kalence shows some wrong results. Tested fire and tech ocmbos vs armor and the results were the same.
