They're going to canonize events of the trilogy for a new Milky Way game, aren't they? Looks like Andromeda is non-canon.

Not to say I told you so. But I told you so. Told what? That they could overhype the event when they're presenting a teaser. Which they sort of did. It'd have been better if they hadn't tell anything beforehand.

Mike Gamble said earlier that it was intentional that we saw both the Andromeda and MW galaxies in that video. They also mention the launch of one of the Arks. So it looks like they're going to combine the two... somehow.

To be honest looks like they're just going to do their best to find a way to retcon ME: A out of existence.

I went to bed after about 1.5 hour so I missed the ME teaser. Was anything in the introduction of it said that gives any clue?

I went to bed after about 1.5 hour so I missed the ME teaser. Was anything in the introduction of it said that gives any clue? They recap some of the history (first contact, Arcturus Station, the last Ark going to Andromeda). It might be nothing more than a recap like they've done before, but I thought maybe, maybe it's a hint they might use time travel to smooth over the transition to a post ME3 MW galaxy. Liara being featured prominently was another. In the core MET, she's "quantum", and doesn't necessarily survive. Assuming her appearance wasn't just a nod to the MET...

Not to get excited for this trailer, because there was nothing to see and it's just another teaser.

Just finished watching more important parts and whelp. I'm glad I didn't stay up for it I signed up for Century: Age of Ashes beta. If they're allowing it, I might as well if there's enough dragons in this dragon-focused game. Spoiler: there's never enough dragons. Ok, I don't care about Smash, but that Mario bit was funny. They should have committed and implied he died. Tbh, Mario dies in most character reveal trailers. He deserves a rest once in a while

Well, clearly I went to bed too early because I missed the ME teaser. I have to say, something about that one got me pretty hyped. It was nice hearing Varric and seeing Solas again, but the ME trailer has me asking so many questions. I'm rather excited to find out more. Looking forward to the MET remaster next year.

The destroy ending is canonized (blegh.), the resulting destruction is considered unlivable by some and they decide to hitchhike on the Quarian arc/the other one (was there an other one?) which had been delayed for various bureaucratic things until it was too late and the Reapers showed up. Since it wasn't a threat it wasn't a priority to the Reapers. Liara, the stalker, finds Shepard's body (again) and loads them on the Ark. They arrive in Andromeda and revive Shepard using Remnant tech. Shepard is the new-old Andromeda protagonist and Ryder becomes a companion. We can boink Ryder.

Depends on the theme I suppose.. Uprising / Rebellion? Retribution / Reckoning? Ascension / Evolution? Transfiguration / Metamorphosis? The Void / Darkness / Corruption? And of course it could be named after a story element we don't know anything about/don't know is prominent making it impossible to guess. Like nobody guessed Inquisition before info came out cause we had no idea that da3 would be about that re established ancient andrastian organisation. My gues: Darago age your story

Is there any chance they pick an ending and add it to the legendary edition? Or change it entirely to fit what they need? If they’re gonna do it in the next game anyway might as well get the trilogy where it needs to be for new players? Not ideal, of course, to take choice away after defending the ending so much but it’s the first thought I had when the remaster was announced.

I think Uprising sounds cool I was wondering. It could be just they haven't decided on a name yet but what if it is simply going to be Dragon Age because they can't add the extra bit without giving away what comes next. Because the full title should be Dragon Age: Finale. After all, the reason it is called Dragon Age is because Thedas is in the Dragon Age but that is only an arbitrary title decided upon by the last Divine. So even if Solas doesn't succeed in bringing down the Veil, it is likely something big is going to happen that is going to change the power structure in Thedas, plus if that big red beating heart is anything to go by, perhaps we will find a way of ending the Blights without having to drop the Veil. So this will be the end of this age, despite it only having run half its course and the next game will be "A New Dawn" and a new era in Thedas. After all, despite them saying that there will be no prophesy involved concerning our PC, the fact is that Flemeth seemed to think our last one was Herald of a new age, just not in the way the Chantry thought of it. Just a thought. EDIT: In fact Varric says no "ancient" prophesy, so that clearly was alluding to Drakon's prophesy that he received during the Ancient period prior to the founding of the Chantry that was connected with the Herald. Any more recent prophesies are still fair game to have a relevance.
