Funnel the exhaust through your dryer exhaust and out of the house? My bedroom is upstairs and my laundry room is downstairs. So that's not possible. Now that the weather is warmer, I just use my Nest app to turn on the AC when I game. Take out your intake fans and funnel the AC in?

I usually use air filters on my PC. You can buy a huge pack of them from any hardware store and just cut them to any sizes. This time the case came with its own plastic filters. They aren't quite as good as actual air filters and a lot of dust actually get through them. You can clearly see the dust on the glass panel in that photo. It's funny that you mentioned cyberpunk city. I actually built this PC mainly to run Cyberpunk 2077 and one of my favorite things to do is walking around the city and admiring the different urban architectures in each district. Yeah, plastic filters are pretty bad, they add fan noise and vibrate too. Better than nothing, but that's about it. It's the dust on the glass that makes the picture so cool, it looks like it's raining and foggy outside. It's too bad CDPR fumbled Cyberpunk 2077. It could have been the next big thing in gaming. I mean it's entertaining to watch Best bugs and glitches on YT, but it gets old fast. It does look gorgeous, I agree.

Yeah well I will not be building anywhere near this system. I doubt that webcams would have the 1550ft at least from here to the garage where I build computers. Is there another option also considering I don't use WIFI?
So a USB webcam then?

I still wouldn't leave it on 24/7 because it pulls about 300 watts on idle and more than 700 watts in games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It is ridiculous quite normal. Fixed that for you. Gaming PCs have become space heaters, true. It's okay in the winter, but in the summer I have to keep the AC on to be able to play. Which ads to the electric bill of course.

So a USB webcam then? A USB webcam with 1600Ft of cable?... That sounds wonderfully awfully dangerous: I wish they still had old throwaway cameras... Wouldn't be better than video but at least I would have something.

Given all the problems I am currently having, and now their working/not working tempermental behaviour....I am SERIOUSLY considering a new build myself. I'll ride it out as long as I can, maybe using my orginal SSD rather than the faster M.2...But if there are any other problems, I'm done with this.
New stuff I'm considering:
-Intel 10-900KF
-Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus Master Z490
-Liquid Cooler: Corsair H1500 Pro w/ iCUE
-DDR 4: 32 GB @ 3000 Mhz (either 2x16 GB or 4x 8GB...whichever I can find in stock)
Will be Keeping and Re-using:
RTX 2080 Super FTW 3 Ultra Gaming
PSU: EVGA 850 P2 80+ Platinum
970 Evo Plus 1TB M.2 2280 form factor (for Bootable OS)
950 Pro 512 gb M.2, same 2280 form factor (converted to secondary storage backup)
Monitor: PD3200U BenQ UHD/4K Monitor
Case: Cooler Master H500M midtower
OS: Windows 10 PRO 64-bit (Build 21 H1)

The reason is you could spend all of this money and have it happen again. I updated your thread with two more ideas to try...
THAT said... I would advise waiting for building a new system -unless you have a compatible motherboard ready to go. Since we all know that AM5 will again leapfrog any current advantage Intel has -however slim over current AMD. Not to mention it has taken AMD long enough to go the LGA socket route that AM5 is supposed to have. LGA is Land Grid Array and is what Intel has used in their CPU's and Sockets -pins on motherboard and CPU is flat contacts. Though that last thought gets me wondering... Is AMD doing this just to get more transistors on the dies or maybe to add compatibility to allowing their motherboards to use Intel chips? Nah they would never try for a monopoly.

No, not exactly what I had in mind. Shoot the vid/pics after the build? I still like the idea of just using the mesh -since I am Macgyvering for the three intakes on top and bottom -it has two I am making the third's.
Maybe I should get another case for the build and give this to someone else... ANY CASE you know of that would work like this: 3x120mm top and bottom exhaust with a side panel with 4 120 fan attachments? But also be giant enough to house EATX motherboard and at least 6 3.5 Hard drives.
The plan was for during the build but I guess I could go after. Now my job does required editing video and audio but not actually handling the hardware that makes it.
I know you may think it crazy but I have not held a camera or a video capture device in my hand in over 16 years.

If I were to build a new system, I would neeed to replace three core components: Motherboard, CPU and RAM.....But I will hold off for as long as I can. Maybe in the Fall when Alder Lake releases with DDR5 support, PCIE 5.0 and the new socket type LGA 1700. Apparently, these soon to come CPUs will have 16 cores at a frequency of 5.0 base clock and be built on a 10 nm die. *All speculation* www.pcmag.com/news/intel-alder-lake-cpus-to-support-pcie-50-ddr5-ramBut thatwould be cool.....Though I can see the hardware all costing in the low thousands, HE CPUs starting at 1200 CAD and up......RAM starting at 349.99 for 16 GB etc But who knows, we will wait and see.... Maybe by then the 30 series GPUs will be back in stock-- only to be eclipsed by the 40 series, no doubt.

Fixed that for you. Gaming PCs have become space heaters, true. It's okay in the winter, but in the summer I have to keep the AC on to be able to play. Which ads to the electric bill of course. I think I've just been spoiled by my previous build. I had an i7 4790K overclocked to 4.4ghz with a Noctua NH-U14S and a Zotac GTX 1080 AMP Extreme. It was a near silent gaming PC and it didn't run hot at all. Compared to my current PC, it only used about half of the power at 300-350 watts. Now I have to manually turn up the AC whenever I play games to just keep myself cool. If you're lucky enough to have the opportunity to buy an RTX 3070/3070 Ti, 3080/3080 Ti, or 3090 GPU, you definitely want to make sure there's sufficient airflow in your case and most importantly, a good AC. AMD's RX 6000 series GPUs are more efficient, less power hungry, and less noisy. It's something that's worth considering but ultimately meaningless because nothing is in stock anyway.

ANY CASE you know of that would work like this: 3x120mm top and bottom exhaust with a side panel with 4 120 fan attachments? Sorry, no. Big cases for special purposes are hard to find. Sad very sad. The plan was for during the build but I guess I could go after. Ambitious, I like it. But after is just fine. As long as we get to see something, right? I guess -just as long as it isn't me in the frame or reflections -reason to be explained later.
One other bad thing is the last camera I held was a Polaroid -remember those.
And that was just to understand the mechanics of how it worked by just looking at it. I have Nicola Tesla's mental ability to take an item apart in mental 3D and put it back together.
Like this: My mind does this naturally -not to this extent... probably because I haven't tried pushing that far.
I know you may think it crazy. I do think it's crazy. Get something worth capturing into your life.Never had anything worth capturing that I can recall. Plus cameras' both photos and video make me feel slimy when they get trained on me whether on purpose or not. So bad I literally need to take a shower -coming from someone who is hydrophobic that is a miracle in-of-itself.
Now it isn't rooted in craziness like say that a photo steals my soul bit by bit with each sequential photo taken...
I think it stems from my child-hood where my family was stalked by my insane father. If not for my mother's grandparents I probably along with my siblings and mother would have been killed by that psychopath.
However if I can manage to keep it off of me...
What would you recommend in the cheap department -$100 or less for all parts in total.

Sorry, no. Big cases for special purposes are hard to find. Sad very sad.

I have been considering selling my PC in its original form (Intel 6850K, AIO Corsair H80i v2 Liquid CPU Cooler already attached to CPU, Gigabyte Phoenix SLI, GTX 1080 FTW 2, 32 GB G.SKILL DDR4 @ 2400, Samsung EVO 850 Pro SSD, (spare Corsair HX750), Samsung S27D850T 27 inch 1440p Monitor) and my starting asking price for all that pre-assembled would be 700 CAD.
The only things a potential buyer would need to purchase on their own would be a case (+50 dollars..... and a separate Windows license....so for + two hundred CAD and a total of less than 1000.00 they could have themselves a kick-ass PC for their family
My GTX 1080 and samsung monitor have been collecting dust, and I have more SSDs and M.2s and HDDs than I know what to do with. I have enough parts to build a second PC.
But considering the money I would be asking....if I am going to be honest with any hypothetically potential buyer, if they asked "have you had any problems with it? Why are you wanting to sell? What's wrong with it?"
I would need to tell them.....and then there goes my chance.
So I guess in the long run, bottom line is it's not worth it. Maybe the only way to do it would be to specify "Selling For Parts Only" but even then...I wouldn't feel right about that.
I guess I'm stuck with it.

Will that be uploadable to a computer? the Nikon CoolPix should come with a mini USB to full size USB 2.0 cable (similar to the charging cables for the Samsung Galaxy S 8, 9 and 10s et al, small on one end then regular size on the other) that can be used to upload stuff or transfer from the camera to the PC. I have done it with my mom's Cool Pix a few times and her model is seven or eight years old so the newer ones should be even easier to work with. I"m not much of one for Photography so don't quote me on that....But I'm just thinking about price point and usability. The Nikon Cool Pix models can range from very basic 100-150 dollar cameras all the way up to 5 or 600, so it depends. And when you get into the DSLR category you're jumping price brackets by a factor of x10...so a few thousand to start. Just an idea though. I have Nicola Tesla's mental ability to take an item apart in mental 3D and put it back together. I do this too. When I build something, I first assemble it in my mind. That way I can get some of the snags sorted even before I run into them. What would you recommend in the cheap department -$100 or less It depends on what you plan on using it for later. Either buy a cheap digital compact camera, or a cheap USB webcam. If you buy a camera, choose a reputable brand, like Canon, Nikon, Fuji etc. In webcams I favour Logitech, they do decent job for the price. Maybe Logitech C922 Pro Stream?
