As far as mobility and transportability is concerned, a good case is the HAF X Evo XB. I liked it because it was very light and easy to carry, and all the hardware lay down flat so there was no stress and sag on points like the GPU brackets.
Downside was even with a 200mm fan on top there was little in terms of adequate cooling, and it was difficult to work with due to cramped space.
But it was only an $80.00 case (or thereabouts) so I guess.... *shrugs*

If need any support I can always use rubber bands, strings, rope or my favorite cardboard and duct tape. I thought about this case instead the Thor V2 but 3 things prevented it. 1. Case was super expensive or not available at the time I was looking for a case -not surprising since the case has reached E.O.L. 2. According to reviews some near E.O.L. versions of the case's motherboard tray were warped out of the box... -fixable but the perfectionist in me would be correcting it all day. 3. Needed more space for everything that is going inside... especially the eight hard drives.

The Coolermaster XB would definitely not fit that many, LOL.
I like Cube cases, but I just wish they were bigger and as versatile as a tower like my H500M.
I'd love the newest HAF 700 becaue of all the cooling potential- especially if I were to upgrade down the line to a 13900K with a 40 series GPU. However, even with my H500M, I did n't use ARGB Controller as I couldn't get it to work and I didn't really want ALL THAT RGB in my case to light up my room. The RAM and the pump head is quite enough for me, thank you CoolerMaster.
But I don't have 1000.00 to throw away on just the case alone

This morning at 7:10 a.m. ET I finally switched my Razer BW from the front 3.0 port it was using to a red 3.2 port on the back of the motherboard because I wanted to minimize cable clutter. Thus far, no change. Everything still works great.

Over the last six months or so I've seriously toyed with the idea of adding more DDR4 to my system and have been watching the price of the RAM that I bought in 2021 when I first built my system. After talking with a friend who said he'd added more and he does a lot of work in Adobe Premiere and also gaming and he noticed a huge difference in especially the loading times of games like Cyberpunk.....I decided to pull the trugger and push the big yellow *BUY NOW* button.
So I ordered the same RAM that is in my system currently, simply by pushing the buy again button and the price was very reasonable I think. Including tax it came to 150.00 which is less than half of what I paid for the first 32 gb in 2021.
30 minutes later, I'd decided to cancel the order because I'm not sure it will make any difference. I might see marginal difference in the responsiveness of day to day tasks, but I build my PCs for 99.999% 4K/HD Gaming and at that I doubt there will be a difference from 32 GB.
So for now, I've decided to save my money.
7:59 pm: I just played a few minutes of SoTR to see how much RAM it used. I opened Task Manager and watched the Usage and the Page File....and the most I saw it use was 12GB out of 32, so I think 32gb is more than enough. Glad I didn't follow through with the order for 32 more.

I see zero difference between 32GB and 64GB in Cyberpunk 2077. Same load time and same frame rate.

Since using the Adobe suite would require alot of memory -believe me I know how to max memory. This pathetic system has 24 GIGs and I have maxed at times where the system locks and resets itself -can be spooky if never seen before -I like the alert LOL. It is more than likely he is using Threadripper level CPU of some kind. Thus his system is quicker and faster -especially with more memory.

He has the 12400, the 3070 from one of the cheaper AIBs like like Galaxy or Colorful, 64 GB dual channel DDR4. I'm not sure what brand his motherboard is, I think it's a mid-grade ASUS board. But that is what it is.

In either case running two monitors I can see why the bump in memory would help him in this case.

One of the old school GPUs I had was the Voodoo 3 3000; for the time it was actually a really good card, and one of the better ones I owned in that time. Much better than the ATI cards of that era.

One of the old school GPUs I had was the Voodoo 3 3000; for the time it was actually a really good card, and one of the better ones I owned in that time. Much better than the ATI cards of that era. You would like this then: But be sure you would have to pay an arm and a leg to get it.

3Dfx Voodoo 2 on a Modern PC! I thought this was pretty cool and hilarious at the same time. Those were the days. I still have a game that flashes a 3Dfx logo at start up: Driver: You are the wheelman @1999... Man those were the days of seeing fancy dancy 3D graphics and being in awe... Now days its ehh to most people but for the time it was crazy good.

I don't even remember the title, but it was packaged with the Soundblaster X16. It was part live video, part neon rotoscoping...But so much fun

3Dfx Voodoo 2 on a Modern PC! I thought this was pretty cool and hilarious at the same time. Those were the days. The Voodoo 2 was actually my first 3D accelerator. I bought it for my first PC mainly to play Quake and Quake 2. I had a 200mhz Pentium MMX PC with 16MB EDO RAM, a 2.5GB HDD, and a 2MB Trident Providia. I remember saving up my lunch money for a month in elementary school and getting the 12MB Voodoo 2 for $80 at my local Best Buy. I used that card to play Unreal, Quake, Quake 2, Need For Speed 3, Star Wars Jedi Knight Dark Forces 2, and even Half Life. None of my friends was into computer gaming, so it was my secret guilty pleasure. I still have the card on a display shelf. I'd love to use it again but my Windows 98 SE machine already has a Voodoo 3 3000 AGP.

There's no way that I'll ever sell or give away the Voodoo 2. It looks great in my glass display cabinet along with my EVGA RTX 3090 FTW3 Ultra.
