Weird. The link doesn't work. Hmm lets try again BE QUIET! Dark pro I think the Fractal Design without glass panel would be the thing over this again. Good case, Maybe I am a outlier but I like the raised feet -better air flow underneath for either PSU or exhaust or intake. If glass is an issue though -you could get screen door mesh and duct tape it -with black duct tape instead of using the glass side panel. Will not look awesome though. I think this would be better:

Sooy to hear EB, having just gone through some problems of my own with my new PC recently I feel your pain. I hope someone can help you with it, the first thing to spring to mind for me was is it your monitor not the PC?

I hope someone can help you with it, the first thing to spring to mind for me was is it your monitor not the PC? It's not the monitor. He posted a video recording before and it just looked like someone kept pressing the "backward" button on the mouse whenever he clicked on something. Unfortunately, I think most of us had a hunch that the issue would come back to haunt him eventually. I think this will be an ongoing intermittent problem until he can find the root cause.

Still in the 3.0 USB? If so Windows update most likely did a driver update for USB. Its gotta be a driver issue. Specifically a WINDOWS Driver issue NOT A Keyboard or Mouse driver. When your PC updated and also when you reinstalled Windows -The install most likely connected to the M$ servers to download the most advanced OS version to install. Seems that the Windows USB driver with this version of the OS is bugged in someway with the mouse and keyboard you prefer to use. Your best option is to go to the Motherboard Website and download OLDEST drivers -specifically the driver for the motherboard USB and Chipset. Once downloaded... If you are able to get these drivers installed without being told that a newer driver is installed -a good indicator by the way if the OS has updated the driver without your consent. Then to keep M$ from updating your system into oblivion -then just use the Windows Update Blocker program to stop all updates... PERMINATELY!. However if this doesn't work the best option is to reinstall again -with the INTERNET UNPLUGED. To keep the OS from updating during install. I know I posted a few pages back on doing this with the OOBE trick for offline install. I personally would just flat out remove Windows 10 UPDATE PROGRAM itself. I however -don't know how integral M$ has made it in later than 1909 Win10 versions and Win11.

But how did your new rig inherit the problem from the old one? That's the question we have been asking you. If you can't find it, this issue will keep coming back even if you get a new motherboard, keyboard, mouse, or whatever. I think we're right back where we started.

PC troubles always break down into one of three categories. 1. Software 2. Hardware. 3. Peopleware Seriously its true -that said as it goes on and on I think more and more its gotta be hardware -especially IF that driver fix doesn't work. Is it not a Z490 AORUS MASTER? If so looks like its a motherboard issue. Other people have had weird USB issues with Gigabyte Motherboards it seems. It usually seems to be happening on overclocked systems from what I am reading. More than likely its in the motherboard itself -IF THE driver idea doesn't fix it.

I think we're right back where we started. If I knew that....If I knew HOW, WHY and WHAT, I would be able to solve this completely and totally with finality. BUNNY *SMASH*! In this case IF you have a flawed motherboard that is beyond the return window I don't think you overclocked the CPU and I think we tested that the CPU was fine. Verify that for me if you can. So if the driver idea above didn't work you may have to suffer with using non LED keyboard and mouse... Or perish the thought but it may come to it: May have to get another motherboard... On second thought there are four other things you could try before that drastic a step -if the DRIVERS do not work: 1. In Windows Power Options> Change recommended plan settings> Change Advanced> Scroll and expand the Processor Power Management maximum state to 99%. 2. This may not be exactly what your going through and with Ryzen but give this a try: 3. Lower the CPU multiplier one or two in the BIOS. 4. In the veins of the 3rd but more drastic a move:

This may not be exactly what your going through and with Ryzen but give this a try: 3. Lower the CPU multiplier one or two in the BIOS. 4. In the veins of the 3rd but more drastic a move: Morning. Yes, I tested the RAM, CPU and GPU (swapping out the GPU for my older 1080, even trying my dad's 2080 XC) (also taking out the RAM and putting in one module at a time and testing it, then running Windows.....then a second, third and fourth on my original X99 system, and the same process on my current Z490 testing and replacing both 16GB modules....and the RAM and CPU...Indeed all the hardware tests CLEAN and GOOD). My CPU is only "Overclocked" as much as the UEFI does it by Default. For example....the stock default factory clock is 3.7 Ghz. And I have not done any manual OC'ing,,,,But in the UEFI, the Multiplier seems ti have adjusted the clock speed automatically by 100Mhz to 3.8 Ghz (which is inconsequential, really). From September 2022 till May two-four long weekend 2023.... when I thought I had finally fixed the issue, I simply moved the M/KB from the 2.0 ports, first to the 3.0 ports ont he front of my case....and it worked great, then finally to the red 3.2 ports and it still worked great. So I was convinced that the issue was because of the power delivery difference between 2.0 and 3.0 or 2.0 and 3.2. So Fine....Problerm SOLVED never to return again! Except this past weekend it occurred again when the June 16th Feature Update and .Net Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10 22 H2 were installed. INSTANTLY when those Updates were installed the *Flashing* came back with a vengeance. Evfen a completely FRESH, NEW, CLEAN Install of Windows did not correct the problem....which is weird. Edit: I did not see the video you posted when I began writing this but I will take a look-see as soon as I get a chance, and I will report back to you if the issue seen in the video is the same as what I am XP'ing and if the apparent Fix worked for me as well. Thanks for the post!

To clarify...the two systems that had the same problem, had different hardware.
1st) From July 2016 to July 2021:
X99 phoenix SLI with Intel 6850K, 32 GB DDR4 RipJaws4 2400 (4×8GB) a GTX 1080 FTW2. The OS Drive was a 512gb M.2 the 950 PRO with an 850 watt P2 PSU and an H80i v2 Corsair Lq. COOLER. MybMonitor was thr S27D850T from Samsung (1440p). Original KB MS 3000, Original Moise Logitech G5 gaming laser mouse. In 2019 I bought the G502 Hero and Razer Black Widow. *Problems vanished soon after KBM Purchase......Until September 2022*
Current PC July 2021 to Present is the Z490 Aorus Master, Intel 10900KF, 32 GB RipJaws V RGB DDR4(2×16 GB)@ 3000MHZ, RTX 2080 Super FTW3 Ultra Gaming, EVGA 1000W P2 80+ Platinum PSU, Samsung 1TB EVO 970 Plus M.2 Bootble OS Drive, Liq Cooler is the Corsair iCUE H115 RGB PRO XT 280mm, Monitor (since 2020) is the BenQ PD3200U 4K 60hz 32 Inch LED Monitor.
So if I understand your post above correctly....I could not have put my old Ram on my new system, nor my new/current RAM on my old x99 platform...they would not have worked, they would not have been compatible. But each ststem with each distinct RAM and other hardwares, had/have the same problem.

I would find it ironic if you switched the RAM and problems went away. Though I doubt that you would have bad RAM... didn't we test it anyway? I mean didn't we check it with MEMTEST 86? That all said I still suggest trying the other ideas first. Also is it just me or are both motherboards Gigabytes?

The OS Drive was a 512gb M.2 the 950 PRO with an 850 watt P2 PSU and an H80i v2 Corsair Lq. COOLER. MybMonitor was thr S27D850T from Samsung (1440p). Original KB MS 3000, Original Moise Logitech G5 gaming laser mouse. In 2019 I bought the G502 Hero and Razer Black Widow. *Problems vanished soon after KBM Purchase......Until September 2022* Current PC July 2021 to Present is the Z490 Aorus Master, Intel 10900KF, 32 GB RipJaws V RGB DDR4(2×16 GB)@ 3000MHZ, RTX 2080 Super FTW3 Ultra Gaming, EVGA 1000W P2 80+ Platinum PSU, Samsung 1TB EVO 970 Plus M.2 Bootble OS Drive, Liq Cooler is the Corsair iCUE H115 RGB PRO XT 280mm, Monitor (since 2020) is the BenQ PD3200U 4K 60hz 32 Inch LED Monitor. So if I understand your post above correctly... .I could not have put my old Ram on my new system, nor my new/current RAM on my old x99 platform...they would not have worked, they would not have been compatible. But each ststem with each distinct RAM and other hardwares, had/have the same problem. Actually both systems are DDR4 so the ram would work with either. Morning. Yes, I tested the RAM extensively using the Windows MemTest.....and even more thoroughly using MemTest86; all tests with both programs came back 100% Clean. I have only ever had one bad stick of RAM, that was on the DDR4 2400 that I used with my X99 Phoenix SLI. Gigabyte sent me a FREE replacement within 3 days, no questions asked. And YES, both boards are Gigabyte. I switched to Gigabyte after the utter horrendous, abysmal dumpster fire of an experience that I had with ASUS when I first bought the ROG Maximus Hero VI. That Board had a laundry list of problems fromt he very day I bought it (and my experiences are well documented here.....I have spoken about the board being sent to Mexico and being lost, then being lied to about it). So given that experience, the obviously horrible quality of the apparently "top tier" board from ASUS, and their atrocious customer service.....I vowed never to buy another ASUS product again- especially given the fact that I had had the same horrible experiences with various other ASUS products (tablets and GPUs), so it was then that I'd decided to make the switch to Gigabyte. And honestly, in spite of this one mutually common problem which I'm not even sure is specifically, inherently and directly a "motherboard problem"....both boards from Gigabyte ,and the Customer Service from Gigabyte have served me well. Much better than ASUS has in the last 10 years. So....I'm going to stick with Gigabyte.

Though on second thought I am thinking I should have gone with an ASROCK motherboard... Since I am now reading multiple articles where Gigabyte boards are having weird issues with G.Skill memory. Even in some cases corrupting the RAM SPD -wow. Guess the two don't get along in some cases.

Its got to have some commonality to occur on both systems! And all that you carried over was the KBM and the whole thing happens again. 1. So either its the KBM causing it -as thought previously.. 2. Or its something corrupt in the OS install -do you have a created media on USB or doing download version every time? 3. Or its either motherboard or something on or in the motherboard -a bad transistor/bad driver. -Maybe Gigabyte make lemons: Work for a time -then weirdness. Could be a simple as the 3.2 or some other header on the motherboard not seated correctly or attached to the wrong pins.

I agree.... Especially since it seemed to have worked flawlessly for 3 months with the Wirless KBM in the 3.0 port before reconnecting the Razer and G502.
Im going to try reconnecting the Wirless KBM and starting over again with a clean install....then disbaling Auto Updates and reinstalling all my Programs.

Well Gigabyte doesn't have the best customer service so aside that you should be fine. Or you can switch ASROCK if that isn't your foretay. Asrock is an ASUS offshoot and in my opinion is where all the good guys of ASUS went. Just don't get anything else from ASUS they are going down the long dark tunnel to burn and cinder -if you get my meaning:

Asrock is an ASUS offshoot and in my opinion is where all the good guys of ASUS went. Just don't get anything else from ASUS they are going down the long dark tunnel to burn and cinder -if you get my meaning: Good to know as I have always thought highly of ASUS, I have an ASUS Monitor as well a VG278QR which has been really good. Me to. There are multiple ASUS monitors here. Though most are old. Recently an eight year old ASUS monitor got sprayed with liquid cleaner -ask young ones why. Anyway it ended up with a giant Palantir on the screen -taking up nearly a fourth of the screen -think this but BIGGER: If the monitor had been any newer it most likely would have just: "Line-failed". I have moved on to three other TV/Monitor makers: 1. LG -could be going ASUS route but not there yet. To me they replaced Panasonic but now I think they are slacking. 2. AOC -better now versus before 2020. Budget oriented with some higher tiers. If customer support is a must then by phone is the best -internet not so much -according to reviews I have read. Still as with anything you can end up getting a bad person. 3. I always take a look at Westinghouse. Had a Westinghouse TV get hit by a flying can and it still worked -picture distorted but still worked!. I will also mention that AOC and Westinghouse both claim their products are Mercury free. LG is another question altogether.
