Some confirmation of characters new and old would be much appreciated too, maybe some character bios or what we can expect mechanics-wise. Anything to show us the direction they are going in would be a welcome change from concept art and dev diaries tbh. I would love some infos on companion and romances. If we get advisior or Family or a dog. And the direktion the gameplay takes (DAO, DA2,DAI or some different style). I don't need much, but a few hints her and there would be awesome to get through the coming hard year.
Something i hope but will not happen, that they open the keep to DAO again. For me to create 10 good worldstate not in the keep, but in game.

I just hope Bioware changes its public image starting with the ME Legendary. Even to me who turned into somewhat distant casual, Bioware's years of drought have been felt. One event and disappears for an entire year and this whole thing has been on repeat ever since the day DA4 was teased. It felt like a page from Andromeda's playbook. I'm giving them a chance this year as I don't wanna be one of those cynics. I really don't envy the position they're in in regards to this: Release stuff too early with the intent of showing off what you got and generating hype...yet you risk the final product not quite matching what you put out...people complain. Release stuff closer to launch you have a better idea what will actually be in the game, people will complain and wonder where the news is. Personally that is one of the reasons I do prefer the latter one because if people will complain at least you will put your best foot forward and I don't mind waiting.

This is probably wishful thinking but now that DA4 has officially been announced I would like to see more dev updates on their blog like what the diablo team are doing with D4 ( case in point: news.blizzard.com/en-us/diablo4/23463858/diablo-iv-quarterly-update-june-2020#StorytellingSection explains how they are going about storytelling and they even provide in depth explanations behind the concept art and multiplayer and progression- all info we have been waiting to hear from bioware on DA) I realise they are both different games focused on different things...but in regards to DA4 I would just love to see more solid info on the game that is not based on tweets. Trailers and dev diary videos are nice but they don't provide the depth of info like a well written blog post can. Things like character bios, expanded lore on the setting, experiments, or UI features or changes. Maybe they could even ask their audience for feedback on where the game is headed or game mechanics (especially if there are going to be live service elements). I mean I love that Christian Dailey does seem transparent about the dev process on twitter but it is not the place for long form content or any reasonable amount of discussion. Proper dev updates on their blog would be a lot more appreciated, for me anyway.

I’m guessing a title reveal at EA Play
With a more explicitly trailer at the VGA, maybe a release window (“Spring 2023”) but probably not more specific.
Maybe we get more companion information, but probably not much until VGA or gamescom
