I only want exploration if the vehicle has guns (maybe a flamethrower too) and chonky armor, to purge any xenos scum in holy fire.
Give me another lame unarmed sports car thing that gets stuck on tiny mole hills, and I'll avoid it as much as possible.

I prefer a more streamlined game like ME2/ME3/DAO/DA2 myself. It's easier for the devs to make a more cohesive narrative, hopefully making it easier to put resources into other areas like making fewer but more meaningful quests. Exploration is fun, but only when there's actually something to find.

Mudskipper doesn't really looks like a interstellar spaceship, looks more like a recognisance ship, which can explore only a solar system.Maybe its a part from a bigger ship. Now,coming to the subject,I really really want to see a more alien planets. In ME1 we had planets with 2 suns, moons, etc, the ME2 planets were earth like,in ME3 the same.In ME:A,i didn't feel that alien vibe worlds. For example,in the next ME,i want to explore a moon of a gaz giant ring world, like Saturn,or planets with two suns, etc.Remember, exploration, and alien world, are part in ME universe,so BW,dont dissapoint again. What you didn't like driving around Utah, I mean Eos. Ha! As someone from Utah, I struggled so bad with Eos. I kept thinking to myself why the hell am I playing this when I could literally go outside and do some of the same off-roading in my Jeep and have a far better time. -- HUGE SHOUTOUT to Linear, story rich missions with social and interactive hubs. Loved ME2/ME3. ME1 was decent because the open world parts could be wrapped up in under 40 minutes unlike DA:I and effin ME:A which took me days. So annoying. Open world has sucked for me every time and in every game and setting. I always get bored within 40 minutes. Never enough exciting things to see/do to keep it from feeling like a grind.

Tbh,i was a little dissapointed about ME:A,for having 5-6 planets to explore.I rather have a plenty of planets to explore with great skyboxes, than 5-6 planets, with big areas, that becomes boring at some point.I wonder if the introduce a new ground vehicle,or maybe its just the Mudskipper.
I have to be honest but I got sick of the same dead worlds in ME1 with a tank that handles like a drunk rhino after the 2rd playthrough, there were/are only so many times that a dead world is going to look "cool" before it just gets old and boring. The main worlds in MEA always feel different every time new places to find new quests to complete, and etc.
Now I love the Nomad in MEA. Who need guns when I could run over things and crash into enemies at 140 MPH in 4 or 6 wheel drive? Which for me personally, is a lot more fun than shooting them (although that is fun too).
The idea solution for me would rather a have a mix of say 3-5 large hub worlds and maybe 5-10 smaller worlds (as long as they're all not all the same dead boring lifeless worlds like those in ME1) that I can travel by foot, the Nomad, a weaponized version of the Nomad, a hoverbike, a small one-person scout airship, and a deep sea diving mech, and a small sailing ship. That I can use for various missions ranging from storming an enemy compound, stealth, recon, search and destroy, rescue missions, to resource gathering, to going on a date with a LI, to just traveling around just for the hell of it aka you know for fun. Depending on story requirements, personal gameplay styles, and just good ole personal preferences (some may want to storm the enemy compound, and others might want to use stealth)
Now obviously some vehicles can only be used on/in certain worlds/environments (so you can't use a deep sea diving mech in a desert for example) and each should be upgraded to allow players to choose what they want from the vehicles (with stuff like weapons, armor, scanners, boosters, brakes, and so on) more than the just the paint job.

I'm not from the area but it is my favorite landscape, so it worked for me aesthetically but failed in feeling like a alien new world.
