I've been enjoying the Russian 1895, though the Enfield SMLE isn't bad either. Gewehr 98 and Martini Henry are for windmill camping scrubs and Gewehr 95 is for hipsters.
Oh, well for Snipers in ME3, I guess I like all of them except the Krysae and the Viper (unless playing silver, where it's okay). They're my most completed weapons challenge, and I particularly enjoy the Widow, Kishock and Raptor, but can use any of the others (even the Incisor, which I think is really good for an uncommon). I generally play by running up to the bad guy, shoving the muzzle in his face and quickscoping him, tho, because actually sniping on this game kind of sucks. Most of the maps aren't really designed around it all too well.
QFI is generally the preferred kit for big/ single shot spike damage sniper rifles (because it's sexy, duh. Also syncs well with the grenades and sabotage) and QMI for little/automatic ones (he has no need to overcompensate).

I'm trying to understand the Krysae more and more. I never played Mass Effect 3 MP before this year, so I lack the perspective of how the gun I think was balanced originally and then there afterwards with balance patches.
I use the Krysae on the Asari Huntress, kind of just for the staggers, but I find it to be a bit fussy. I like that Dark Channel is a hitscan power, but the explosions aren't as good as they can be with other biotic combos. Killing phantoms is a breeze, because by the time the second shot has gone off, dark channel mops up whatever health the phantom has. And then the briliant thing is, phantoms usually come in packs on a map like glacier, so I have gotten streaks of killing 3-4 phantoms in a span of 4 cloak cycles. That is about as far as the good things went.
Krysae is not ideal against bosses, and I think I'll start having an SMG backup, finally get use out of the Guerilla Package I thinks, the one that gives you 12% sniper and Smg damage.
I like all of the snipers, except the Viper.
At first I wasn't so pleased with the Kishock, but after using it more, I realize it's damage potential is top tier. But I almost exclusively use either QFI or SI for it. I might look into even trying Asari Adept or Batarian Sentinel too.
In an interesting twist of just for fun, I had the penchant to try to use explosive rounds on the Kishock (explosive Harpoons!!!), because I thought it would synergize well with the bleed damage. But then I learned how explosive rounds prevent any primed target to get wrecked with a power combo until the ammo explodes. So now I know why most players won't touch the stuff, and some are even sitting at 255 for all 3 ranks of that really terrible ammo power.
I have the Black Widow at level 2, but I haven't touched it yet. I still use the good old M-98 which I have at level X, and I'm very pleased with the performance.
I tend to use the CSR and Valiant more on the SI, while I use the single shot or harder hitting types on the QFI.
I really like the CSR, and I think the targeting VI is very useful, because you can pop many headshots during the cloak bonus. Also pair it with 100 extra weight by slapping on the 4x Thermal Scope and HVB. The regular scope has a reticle with is just too large for me, while the lower zoom level makes the sniper more comfortable for closer ranges as well.
I like the Raptor on Engineers that need a lightweight Cryo ammo dispenser, but because I usually host, the Falcon and Adas are just more well rounded for that role.

Apart from the above the M-98 Widow is excellent and a lot of fun, the Indra is probably one of the most underestimated guns in the game together with the CSR, both of them can demolish Platinum on the right kit with Incendiary IV. YES, BLESS THIS POST. (I took out an entire spawn with the CSR as the Male Quarian Inf on Plat. It was disturbing.) Count me in for the Indra-part. Indra on GE or respecially GI is indeed disturbing powerful and accurate (HunterMode) with IncRounds followed by Overload or proxyMine. Indra deserves much more attention, i haven't seen anyone else playing her(?) for ages

It disturbs me when I find Indra is out-DPSed by Incisor... The Incisor is underrated; no way is it the best SR in the game, but I think it's rather better than it's given credit for around here. Aim for chest, let the recoil headshot for you. Even a player of my meagre skills finds it perfectly viable in Gold, so everyone else here should have no excuse! It might have been nicer with a reduced-magnification scope like the Indra's, but I think that the same is true of the other sniper rifles as well, given the sizes of most of the maps.

I use them now and them but on non cloakers as i rarely play infiltrator classes . Reason is most pugs include at least one if not two infiltrators which will leave one poor guy getting all the aggro so i use other classes. It's more balanced if such a word befits this game. If So , i use Indra Destroyers, Valiant Drelldepts, a BW Non flaming Trooper...

QFI - Widow SI - Black Widow BatSent - Kishock GI - Javelin TSent - Krysae QME/QMI/DAI - Indra, CSR, Raptor, Viper, Valiant, Incisor depending on challenge
I'm most comfortable with Widow and Black Widow. CSR is lots of fun. Kishock only shines when I host, offhost it's hit and miss (literally). I don't really like the Javelin much because of the delay when firing... but it does make up for it with its damage. Valiant and Viper just don't compare to the Black Widow but are decent in the right circumstances but I only use them and the rest from my list when I feel like doing challenges. I can't remember the last time I used a Mantis.

I prefer the Widow or Mantis. Honestly, with a good connection off-host, that is all you'll ever need with TC.
As you all know, I am a masochist who somehow prefers playing quick-match off-host. Over time, I have come to rely on the Indra, because it will hit the head and get the headshot on a shitty connection.
In overall effectiveness, I rank them:
Arc Pistol Valiant Black Widow Javelin Widow Claymore Wraith Paladin Indra CSR Mantis Viper Carnifex
The Kishock is only for hosting. The Raptor is for carpal tunnel syndrome, and the Incisor is for the airlock.

I don't even have Javelin yet. Only 290 hours sunken in...
I am however on the largest credit saving spree yet. I'm trying to save 50 million credits. I have 2.5 million. 2.5 more than I had a week ago.
I forgot about the Indra. I do have a level one Indra. Might try it on Gethgineer.
Off host I stick to the M-98, because it's the only gun I can reliably kill steal with off host.
I am terrible with the Raptor off-host, I had a match a month ago where I was fully comsumabled, level 4 power amplifier, Operative package, operation freeze combo ahoy with human engineer and I coudn't for the life of me get the combos off before someone finished mopping up. At one point I just gave up casting powers and just relied on suicide drone to give me the guaranteed 700 points of damage every 4 seconds or so.

My personal usage of Sniper-Rifles:
-> The Salarian Infiltrator is my main sniper character, he makes regular use of BW, Widow, Valiant, Krysae, Mantis.
-> Javelin on a Homing-Grenade-less Drell Assassin for Platinum games exclusively.
-> Kishock goes on my Vanilla Human Infiltrator or the Batarian Sentinel for role-playing.
-> Collector Sniper Rifle is regularly used on the Vorcha Hunter and Asari Huntress, sometimes also on the Juggernaut.
-> Indra goes on the Quarian Marksman, Vorcha Hunter or Asari Huntress.
-> Raptor is used on the Vorcha Hunter and Batarian Sentinel.
-> I hate the Incisor, but if I do play it once in a while it goes on my Concussive Shot Vanilla Human Soldier.
I don't use the Viper.

From what I remember, my assignments are as follows:
GI- Widow SI- Javelin (yeah I know they should be switched for geth weapon bonus. GI's been Widowing for years though, leave him alone) QMI- BW TGI- CSR Original Male Inf- Kishock. Mostly for lulz never off host. Turian Sentinel- Valiant. Volus Adept- Viper. Definitely for lulz stasis sniping on bronze. Volus Vanguard- Krysae. For lulz when I only have 5 min before something.
Pseudosniping N7 Fury- Arc Pistol. At my height I used to get running headshots. Would sometimes interfere with booming all the things but hey, what can you do. Scope for deadliness at any range. Batarian Sentiel- Crusader. Haven't used him in forever, but I used to get some good headshots with it. Batarian Soldier- Graal. Techinically qualifies because smart choke. Asari Vanguard- Executioner Pistol. Stasis sniping. N7 Paladin- Paladin on a paladin yo. On here because I used the headshot mod. With so little ammo to spare, you best be getting headshots with this sucker. N7 Demolisher- Saber. Because fuck if I know what to use on her. Snipe or go for full spamminess with scorpion.

Yeah, and CSR doesn't need Phasic rounds, and even then I think an energy drain with cloak bonus will strip the shields (you might need to use operative package or get one of the damage upgrades instead of radius) of shielded enemies like rocket troopers/centurians/marauders, and then with targeting VI the bonus headshot damage melts enemies. And melting enemies is always great.
Also, I find it so funny how the collector sniper rifle is very effective against Collectors...I think Leviathan had actually indoctrinated some Collectors himself, and Harbinger didn't know, so he tried to sabotage them from within, without revealing his presence.
