So I recently came back, and using my alt account, aka "Mr. Snake Bit". My drop rate is 4.5% (vs. expected 7.5%). Simple binomial distn calculates that at ONE IN TWO THOUSAND odds of being this low at the #packs I've bought. Sweet.
On the bright side, that's better than my rate since coming back, 2.0%
Two UR's in 31 days.
So I'm right on pace. Ask me again on December 13, 2028.

My alt has been so incredibly unlucky to the point that I have to wonder if the UR drop rate was reduced. Yeah, I know "RNG is gonna RNG". But the odds calculate at 1 in 5,000 unlucky (latest streak was 38 packs). So, curious what your experience was.

This is anecdotal at best, but I've noticed that I'm getting one UR for about every 7 or 8 APs, which is in line with the current drop rate. I usually buy 10 when I fire up the game and get at least one. My longest drought was 25 packs and then had like 5 in a row at some point after.

Thanks for the follow-up. I'm checking on my main account (which made liberal use of "my rich uncle"), which only has 6 UR's to go. But obviously will be a small sample set. BTW, the remaining are Collector SMG and Harrier @ 3 each. CSMG makes sense since I often disabled Retaliation DLC during pack sprees. Harrier - well, it usually seems to be the laggard, doesn't it?
Edit:
6 UR's in 26 packs, for a slot drop rate of 11.5%. Finished strong with 4 in 7 packs. Wish my alt was (half) so lucky!
Final tally: 143.8M credits, 2768 UR slots (so 1384 equiv premium packs), 7.55% drop rate (just on par with "expected" 7.5%)

Been there for a while. Well, I do have ONE remaining character card to go, the last Volus Engineer level because I buy AP's. I don't care whether I can paint his ass another color.
Anywho, it shouldn't matter. All the UR slots should have the same drop rate, regardless of your Manifest status.

I maxed my manifest many years ago, but when it happened it was sort of a damp squib. Looking back, the fun bit was the journey getting there and if you aren't having fun trying to max your manifest, it's not really worth it.
How it felt on my journey and then reaching the end.
