The Krogans live much, much, much longer than the Asari. In fact, its alluded to the fact that they might actually be biologically immortal. The Patriarch on Omega in ME 2 is not only a veteran of the Krogan Rebellions but also of the Rachni Wars, this puts him at well over 2,000 years old and he is still incredibly spry for his age. Are you sure about the age of the Patriarch. I think some of his Storys are more Phantasie then Reality. Or is there somethin gin the Codex about the Patriarch?

It seems, talyn82 , your original question has grown wider thanks to forum members' interests. A curious thing involving historical facts, events from the game to figure out who lived when. Thorian, Richni, Leviathians and others, whose who are still present in the game but obviously they are very old. How such a thing could happen? Civilizations are born and die out due to different reasons. But some, like the Thorian, managed to survive because of hiding? As well as coward-slave-asshole-morons Leviathans with advanced abilities to live wherever they want. Too bad there is not much information about these species. Yes I know and I find it equally interesting. I had forgot about species like the Thorian and Leviathan's. I am still a noob when it comes to Mass Effect lore. So I find all this information fascinating.

This sounds exceptionally unfamiliar information. The krogan were uplifted specifically to fight the rachni. This would mean the Patriarch was uplifted by the salarians and this is not something mentioned at any point. Though unofficial, the wiki makes no indication that Patriarch was in the Rachni Wars. That's bother under his entry and the one for the Rachni Wars. I'd need to see that, specifically a codex or video. I'm a ways off from ME2 so I can't check right now.

So I find all this information fascinating. We don't know how long individual Leviathans live. When I read the subject of this thread I was taking it as "individual asari live 1000 years and individual krogan live 1400 years". Thorian managed at least 50,000 years and we don't actually know if it was the only one of its kind.
