Gamescom 2021 (No DA news afterall)

Even with my distaste for Disney, I find the idea rather cute. I hope it does well.

It being at 2 pm in USA on a mostly USA forum doesn't help. 

HZD slotted for Feb 2022 makes me happy. 

What little they showed. I won't be able to play till the Summer, I'm sure Org Chem 2, Physics 2, and Biostatistics will keep me too busy. At least all the bugs will be patched for a smoother experience.

Apparently the "future games show" is today. I don't really know anything about it or what would be expected there. I didn't even realize it existed until today so definitely don't want to get anyone's hopes up.

It is and was always The Game Awards.
I can´t remember that Bioware have revealed anything major at Gamescom.

I can't remember exactly when things were released last year concerning DA4 but there was a steady stream from mid summer onwards:
1st some brief concept art/work in progress shots.
2nd the "Behind the Scenes" video.
3rd the "New Hero" trailer in December.
4th the short stories for DA Day.
Plus Tevinter Nights was released in March 2020, which gave us some hints about where the plot regarding Solas might be headed and some other info.

It all seemed to be building towards something. However, then came the news of major people leaving Bioware and the announcement in the spring they were dropping multi-player entirely from the game. Naturally the concern was that these things might impact on the game release. It would have been helpful if Bioware could have said something one way or another. Instead we seem to have returned to the situation as it was between the release of the Dread Wolf Rises and the comparative deluge of material last year. Another round of raised expectations, followed by silence and disappointment.
