Set during the events of Mass Effect 3, Hmmmm.......Is Bioware saying these characters, minus Shepard and t'soni, Wrex, Tali and Garrus are canon for ME3 even though all 3 can be dead before ME3 starts? And if they are, Wrex is on the SR2 for some of the first half of the game, then shows up later for the Citadel dlc, when does this so-called mission take place. Tali shows up after the Citadel coup, then later for the Citadel dlc. Garrus shows up near the beginning of the game.

Or, simply, Tali, Garrus and Wrex are waaaaaaaaay more iconic than the more "human and human like" characters in ME3. Ida, Kaidan/Ashley, and Vega aren't exactly very iconic or easily recognizable by look alone, expecially with colorless miniatures. They would look like very generic goons from very generic space opera miniature game.

as the article writer states, the above might be the vision/ideology, however reality sometimes showed us canon choices non the less (who's dead/alive and such).
Don't want to turn this into a Dragon Age thread, but from what I've read and heard so far about the new Dragon Age game - it seems to be praised as a return to Bioware RPG roots - with the only controversial choice so far seemingly being the more actiony-Mass-Effect-gameplay.
I really hope they switch to full on next Mass Effect game production within the next couple of months.

For me, it looks freaking amazing, in some ways kinda like in Andromeda but modified for DA  so fluid  I am trying to stay way from DAVe spoilers but the few reviews I have read were by people were not enamoured of the gameplay/combat till they actually tried it and found they loved it. I am hoping like I was with the change of combat from DAO to DA2 I will be surprised and enjoy it.

Every time I read something about DA:VG, it seems like there is a new controversy brewing, and it does seem there is definitely more than only one controvesial design decision.

"Atharia/ParagoN7" has a nice explainer on how it works
the board game isn't for me or my friends and the only thing I'm somewhat interested in is the story.
If I remember correctly it plays on the Shadow Broker world with the crazy weather, that's all I know so far.

N7 day is coming up a week after DA4 launch.
I expect to see another mini trailer, if nothing else but to counter EXODUS. The latter's game trailers are awesome and so is its story premise. And, the chars don't look cartoonish as in DA4 (yes, it's my opinion).
ME5 will probably take place in our galaxy with one of the three colour ending made canon. I prefer no damage to the galaxy. Liara will be there but not Shep... It's been too long since ME3 anyway. Time for new blood. The real question is when will the story begin? 10, 20, 100 years after that fateful choice? I prefer the 100 year mark as things have "settled down" by then. Also. I'm hoping that humanity recreated the Gate that led to where the Reapers came from. That would provide the writers with new material.
With EXODUS as a source for inspiration, Bio writers can come up with a compelling story....

Definitely looking up to seeing what happens this N7 Day. I doubt we'll get an announcement or anything, but I really hope it's a much better teaser.

I expect to see another mini trailer, I don't. If anything, a few VA's wishing happy N7 day as well from some Bioware employees Why? Is Exodus a threat to ME? I foresee Exodus releasing in 2025 while the next ME game may not release until a few years later. Has anyone from EA/Bioware confirmed t'soni being in the next game? Yet you mention t'soni will be there. If the game has all new blood, I would like no one from the previous games show up. Hard to say when. I would like to have a sequel take place within 12 months after the events of ME3 with Shepard, SR2, squadmates and crew returning
