I thought maybe the curves of the coat formed some kind of hidden image but nothing standing out.

I'm kind of thinking the opposite might happen and BioWare might essentially 'cheat'....or based on the current look with the Trench Coat even may see a sort of stylistic regression is possible. Like given things happening in the galaxy the result of the Reaper War might've caused the galaxy/ humanity to want to go back to a simpler time as evidenced by the trench coat and as evidenced by Liara's speech about human defiance towards the Council could indicate a time when humanity at least is going back to their roots...for better or worse. On the other hand though I suspect we're not going to see a lot of technological creep in terms of advanced tech. Indeed given what I have said above all the tech we have seen from things looks very much in line with the twenty second century. The 'omega' area looks like Omega. That bar looks like something right out of the Citadel. And while this could be cheating again its not that muhc of a stretch to assume the galaxy entered a technological dark age immedietly following the war with the Reapers where the Galaxy has spent much of the last few centuries simply rebuilding what was lost (the AI, the Relays, the infrastructure) which also keep in mind to the ME galaxy is one of these settings where things also haven't changed much economigcally, socially, politically, or technologically for thousands of years proceeding humanity arriving on the scene and shaking things up...and even that was pretty negligible in how it effected technology. And also remember that Aethyta was even trying to encourage the Asari to build more Relays and advance their tech but everyone in the galaxy was content on just holding pat with minimal progression. All of this has precedent both in universe and our own real world given the 'dark ages' the fall of the Roman Empire and humanity remaining largely unchanged technologically from early man all the way through industrialization where things have finally started to start advancing at a much faster pace then before. 

Indeed I do half wonder if the plot of the game isn't going to be after the two galaxies have merged but about them merging. Like the inciting incident could easily end up being we get this distress call from Andromeda which inspires a technological race against the clock to find out what is going on and make contact which could then inspire a technological golden age to build the neccessary tech to bridge the galaxies. I almost hope not because then we would have to wait another game to see the two universes properly integrate and for that reason and given we have seen what looks like Angarra I do also doubt it and this is one of those high level pie in the sky theories.

That coat is awesome. I want one.

I hope BioWare does release one and then there is some buyer's remorse on the hoodie I just bought because I do want one too kind of.  

But despite how much I like the whole trench coat and whatever the thing is in the back where it sort of billows and flows like a cape but not a cape...despite how much I like the aethestics also not sure how much it is for me. But then again to maybe by 2027 I will need a new jacket to. lol.

Another N7 day has passed. Again nothing substantial was shown. Game is apparently still in "concept and throwing around ideas phase". It's been over a decade since the last Mass effect and a new one will release maybe in 2027 if we're lucky.

That's what I got out of it anyway.

Frankly I love the coat. The trailer have intrigued me. It's now a wait and see, but st least I like were stylistically is going.
