when one of the DA:I devs admitted that the mounts didnt actually go faster when you sprinted, they just added some wind lines to make it seem like they did

Same thing in Mass Effect 1 when you try to run on the Citadel. No change in speed, just in the FOV of the camera to give the illusion you’re moving faster. Can’t remember if that stayed true for 2 & 3 or if load times were better by then

I get what they were going for in Andromeda, that all Asari basically look alike except for their markings - I just didn't really like it, not coming from the prior trilogy where even if there were only a handful of different faces here and there, along with major characters getting completely individual face scans, it was enough to make them all feel different and their own person - where as other than PeeBee, all Asari in Andromeda were clones and it was boring, and made the fact that PeeBee got her own individualised face scan even worse.

I'd say the same thing for Turians too. Yeah we had both male and female models, but we need model variations on top of that, at least facially. With at least some different crest variations here and there. Maybe some height differences among them all too, just so everyone looks a little less like clones.

If they can put that care and detail into making all the humans look different enough, put that same care and detail into your alien races as well.
