Is it just me or does it seem likes nobody likes Oghren? Honestly I like him even if he is not between my preferred ones, even more in DAA, but I guess I'm in a vast minority

This is a bit harder to answer when your memories - and feelings- aren't fresh anymore, but let's go.
DAO: Favorite: Morrigan, Leliana, Alistair, Shale, Sten Least: Wynne and Oghren, though I do love them as well
DA2: Favorite: Isabela, Varric, Fenris, Carver Least: Merrill
DAI: Favorite: Solas, Cassandra, Sera, Dorian, Iron Bull, Leliana, Cullen Least: Cole, Vivienne, Blackwall
I think DAO had the strongest cast. There is no one I particularly hate (even if there are a few grievances) and no one I'm indifferent to.

Is it just me or does it seem likes nobody likes Oghren?
He's not one of my favorites because he is an offensive caricature, but my canon has him in the party once recruited and for all of Awakening due to the dwarf factor: my warden is a female dwarf archer who parties with Shale during Origins, and Sigrun in Awakening.
It is interesting to see the variety of choices in this thread. While Origins is by far my favorite game, I actually greatly prefer the casts for the later games. Here's my list: DAO: Favorite-Leliana, Shale, Sten Least-Alistair, Zevran
DAA: Favorite-Nathaniel, Sigrun
Least-Anders
DA2: Favorite-Aveline, Merrill, Varric, Bethany, Sebastian
Least-Anders
DAI: Favorite-The Iron Bull, Vivienne, Josephine, Blackwall, Dorian Least-Sera

DAI:
Favorite:
Cassandra- Not only my favorite companion in DAI but quite possibly my favorite companion in BioWare ever...though Garrus is certainly up there...and I just adore the hell out of her. Her faith, her doubt, her mix of feminity and bad assery. Perfection. Dorian- Man has a great sense of humor and a interesting outlood. Cullen- Great romance, great tragic backstory, I hated him in the first two games but really came to like him. Josephine- She is also quite adorbs.
Least favorite: Blackwall- I tried and typically I like this kind of character but he was pretty mean and unlikeable.
DA 2: Favorite- Varric- The Storyteller with a sense of humor, was my Hawke's little (big?) brother Anders- Perfectly tragic character with just the right blend of humor, also kind of a writer and political junkie. Fenris- That voice and a pretty good character.
Least: Isabella- Over sexualized, one note.
DAO:
Allistair- Perfect sense of humor, relatable problems.
Least: Oghren- Drunk, unsympathetic, one note, bit weird, bit of a sexualized maniac...when it came to reuniting him with his love I didn't even encourage him to do it.
DAA:
Sigurn- Pure fun.

Best: Anders (simply great, and can be explained in many ways – but as great is this – to be honest as bad as well: it isn't clear, this is intentional or chain of mistakes... or both...). Least: Vivienne (Her politics, her manners – and I can't agree with people who say, she's incredibly good written. She has moments, but to be honest: she's an anomaly in some aspects, and... mary sue: beautiful, smart, great mage and great alchemist: a scholar, but even the best Gamer in the Grand Game... AS A MAGE! And if the Inquisitor befriends with her: she's the best friend ever! She was painted as the most important mage in Southern-Thedas – but NOWHERE was written, where she was when the rebellion happened... if she cares so much about mages – where she was, when it started? Where she was, when the mages voted? What is her opinion about the Tranquility? Annulment? She loves the Circle – so: she's agree with those... the Circle-system can't be separated from those – the Annulment and Tranquility are the Circle-system. If she's the Divine – she keeps those? She will accept the reversion of the Tranquility? And: she cries a lot that Anders, Fiona and the rebel mages destroyed the great "fashion accessory" status of the mages – but she became a candidate for the Divine's throne... HOW? Many questions – no answers. Vivienne not only unpleasant character – but there are many mistakes about how the character was written.)

DAO Favorite: Morrigan, Alistair & Oghren Least Favorite: Shale... it's the least interesting companion to talk to imo and the one I usually leave at the camp
DA2 Favorite: Varric & Merrill Least Favorite: Bethany & Carver... I think it's a very cool concept to have a sibling companion, but neither of them is particularly well written imo (especially in the later acts)
DAI Favorite: Solas Least Favorite: Cassandra... compared to all the other companions she's kind of boring & basic. I liked her better in DA2.

DAO Favourite: Morrigan, Leliana, Zevran, Dog Least Favourite: Didn't really dislike anyone
DA2 Favourite: Aveline, Isabela, Varric - the only team I could really go with. I didn't like anyone else and really hated Fenris and Anders and their oppression olympics. I don't want to be a traveling therapist. Alos, what a waste of Gideon Emery's talent. Overall the most dire cast of companions.
DAI Favourite: Vivienne, Cassandra, Dorian Least Favourite: Blackwall (boredom with a beard), Solas (likes to listen to himself way too much)

Dao: favourite: leliana(adore in particular hardened). Also fan of morrigan & Dog. Dao: Least favourite: probably alistair, though I wouldn’t say I hate him. Just a little irritating.
Da2: favourite: the fabulous wonderfully sexual isabela is head and shoulders on top. Generally love the da2 cast. Varric or Aveline vying for silver and bronze medals. Da2: least favourite: probably Anders even if he does serve a useful story purpose
Dai favourite: probably Dorian, he’s a fun character. I'll give Solas a vote because he's an interesting character. Still Love Leliana too. Dai least favourite: my least favourite cast, probably a tie between sera and cole. On my recent playthroughs it’s been a release to not recruit them. Also very meh on the returning varric.

Most votes for Blackwall as least favorite probably aren't motivated by his dark past or anything like that. He is just... unbelievably boring.

DAOFavorites: Alistair, Morrigan Least: Oghren. Could occasionally be funny but they went too over-the-top with the "dwarf cliches" (oh I was so pleased when they introduced Varric). Kinda reminded me of how they attempted to make Gimli a comic relief in the LoTR movies. However, Oghren is waaaaay worse with his added vulgarity. Also, hardly ever found use for him gameplay wise either. DAAFavorites: Nathaniel, Sigrun, Anders. Though gotta say that while I loved Anders the first time I played the DLC, I years later revisited and actually found him a bit grating at times. It seemed like they tried really darn hard to make him the Alistair replacement but relied almost too much on the whole "witty/sarcastic" banter part. Still, he and Ser Pounce still have a special place in my heart. Least: Oghren. No surprises here. DA2Favorites: Varric, Anders, Carver, Merrill. Anders can still get a bit grating (for different reasons than before) but in DA2 he's nevertheless a top tier companion to me. Plot significance is something else and he's extremely useful gameplay wise. While "less fun" than in Awakening, he has perfect reasons for acting like he does, and is a more interesting/compelling character who people still argue about today. (Actually, Anders might be the favorite for me just because of that.) Least: Sebastian. Massive hypocrite. Also, kinda bland and "just there". Which is no surprise since he's a DLC character shoehorned into the main game. DAIFavorites: Dorian, Cassandra Least: Cullen, Vivienne. My main issues with them are nicely summed by the comment below. [...]Least favorite: Vivienne, Cullen. I hate how I can't argue with them properly, I am not a fan of their attitudes in the present (Vivienne) or the past (Cullen), and they both have some interesting views on mages that I don't really agree with. I'm fully capable of enjoying characters I disagree with (heck, I often love villains) but I do not like it when the game basically coddles them by not letting me actually say what I want my character to say. It was bizarre when e.g. speaking with Viv in Haven for the first time and she was giving several anti-rebels, pro-templars/circle statements, the game gave me absolutely no opportunities to comment. Meanwhile while discussing with Solas, I was given constant chances to disapprove his views on the fade etc. Thus for me Vivienne comes across like Bioware's mouthpiece pushing a narrative. Cullen has similar "coddling" issues and there's also other things about his writing I don't like. Too lazy to elaborate further though. I have already voiced my issues on other platforms (really lengthy shit) and don't feel like going into it here.

Cullen has similar "coddling" issues and there's also other things about his writing I don't like. Just thought I'd drop in on this thread again and comment about Cullen. To my mind he was someone I never expected to see again after DAO. First time I encountered him it was clear he was tormented by his experiences and so his subsequent attitude was understandable. Then I played as a female mage and he showed a certain interest in her but nothing that moved me to like him more. I regarded all Templars as victims of the Chantry and based off what we learned in DAO it seemed they were required to be celibate (subsequently altered in DA2) as well as taking a dangerous mind destroying substance, so turning them into sexually repressed drug addicts. Cullen would have the added problem of PTSD, so whilst he didn't go crazy in any of my epilogues, it was no surprise to me that he did in some versions. So, it came as something of a surprise that he re-emerged in DA2 as a major NPC and second in command to Meredith. Given what I knew of his history I found it incomprehensible that he would have been promoted in such a way. However, I gathered from the boards that he was acquiring something of a fan base. I never understood why. However, it seemed obvious that he only advanced to advisor and romance status in DAI based off that. I found it very difficult to reconcile the individual we encounter there with the tormented individual of DAO or even the one in DA2, with no real explanation as to why his character had evolved in that way. It seemed more like another person with the same name. So, ignoring what I knew of his previous history, I quite liked DAI Cullen. Certainly when it came to the War Table he often seemed to have a better moral compass than the other two, particularly Leliana, being far less likely to go for political pragmatism or manipulation. I liked his personal story as well and his struggle to overcome his addiction to lyrium, which I fully supported him with. It was simply a case of not recognising him as the same person from the other two games.

DA:O
Favorite: Zevran Least: tough call between Sten and Wynn
DA:A Favorite: Sigrun Least: Justice
DA][ Favorite: Aveline normally, but Isabela on rivalry romance path is my favorite in the whole franchise Least: Merrill. I don't even disagree with her project, just find her so infantile.
DA:I Favorite: funnily enough I feel like my favorites in this goes in reverse order of fans' popularity, So Sera and Viv are at the top for me. Least: okay first, screw this game's Skyrim-wannabe design. As to the question: probably BLACKWULL

DAO: Like: Alistair, Leiliana, Shale Dislike: Zevran and Oghren
DA2: Like: Fenris, Varric, Aveline, Carver, Merrill Dislike: Sebastian, Isabella, Anders
DAI: Like: Cassandra, Dorian, Vivienne, Solas Dislike: Sera by a wide margin
I'll elaborate briefly on the dislikes.
Zevran is far too casual and his tortured sob story did nothing for me. He also can back stab you. Oghren is fat, loud, drunk, smells bad, and is a bad father. And we are forced to be friends with this doofus again in Awakening? What's worse is if you kicked him out.
Sebastian is not only boring, but he feels unnecessary. No one even cared when he starts crying at the end. Anders is obvious, and with Isabella, I really hate characters who take no responsibility for their crimes and get off scot free even if you want to punish them.
Sera is just disgusting. She's ugly inside and outside. Her romance is terrible if you don't agree with her and she is widely annoying and very immature.
