Anything goes. If I have a choice, it depends upon how much I think I will care about the book. I buy two kinds of books from Kindle, those old books which are very hard to find in a printed copy, and those 🤡 that I don't want people to find in my bookshelf.

I'm torn. On one hand I absolutely love the beauty and raw power of that phenomenon, I love to take long exposure pictures of lightning and the atmosphere of a thunderstorm, I love to be outside as long as possible till the rain comes to enjoy the wind and the lightning. Its probably my favorite common natural spectacle.
On the other hand I fear the destruction of my plants in my garden, I have some very valuable and rare plants growing in my garden and they are very sensitive. I have built some nets for protection against hail and storms, but it wont protect them from the really bad storms. Years ago I lost half my plants from such terrible thunderstorm, hail as big as golf balls and a devastating wind completely ruined all my beautiful plants, all fruits were lost too, I almost wept.
I guess I love, hate, admire and fear thunderstorms.

Neither, and I don't like frigid cold either. I like a moderate, but cool even temperature such as the Fall season in Canada in mid to late October.

I have no real preference up to that point. I would like to read on my e-stuff more to see if i like it more or not . Hard cover are cool, trade paperback might be better for comfort while not being as easily damaged as mass market ones. Hum, i prefer trade paperback then . As i m not perfectly sure know the difference, is it the first edition which is trade paperback for a few years and then u get the mass market ones ?
One thing is sure though, i ll always favour e-reader for English books, the built in dictionary is really helpfull for my english level

Oh, that was like a 100 years ago. I liked 'Flashback' tremendously. Great game. 'Operation Stealth' and 'Under a Steel Sky' were somewhat platform'ish. And I liked the three first Tomb Raider games. None of these games are exactly a console 'platformer', but particularly 'Flashback' and early 'Tomb Raider' has a platform basis. There was also a fantastic, atmospheric, spooky game that was very similar to 'Flashback' in gameplay, but I've forgotten its name.

Of course not. "Profit" is life, survival, and propagation. It's the mechanism of all life for all organisms and has always been. In a period without profit, there is no possibility of adaption, change, growth or propagation, and life is in a very perilous state that cannot continue for long without encountering an event that will kill it.
Maybe, if humans are kept as pets by machines, and have no responsibility for themselves any longer. But humans must still have something to satisfy their instincts, or they will be very miserable and mentally unhealthy.

No.
I believe many more useful things could be taught - basic life skills, cooking, budgeting and financial skills, basic home and car maintenance. These should be more available to older students. It's probably a lot more useful than some of the things available now, but different countries, different education programs. Lots of young adults/kids may not have parents/guardians who are able to teach these skills, nor have the time to do it.

From my years in martial arts during middle school and high school, I learned "the Betty Erickson Method of Self-Hypnosis, Meditation and Relaxation" (also called the 5,4,3,2,1 Method)....I use it both to help me fall asleep at night and also to give me energy after a rough night of little to no sleep.
If anyone wants to try it...let me know and I can write out instructions.

No. I cannot think of or remember any event that I can understand in those terms. 🤔 I have a reptile brain, or at least I used to, when I was younger, that sometimes took control without much conscious thought involved, as response to sudden crises. But I never encountered that in drawn out events or because frustration. Nor do I hit or destroy dead things or animals in anger. Never happened.
Do you know the game 'Kerbal Space Program'?

I'm pretty oblivious about what's going on. I don't keep up to date with planned games, games in development. I know of only one game that I absolutely intend to purchase & play: 'Kerbal Space Program 2' At the same time I'm cautious. So often, a follow up to a fantastic game becomes flawed, because the new developers didn't fully get what was so great about playing the first game.
Do you gamble?
