Off-topic: why english used tea for "herbal tea" Now look here my good man, the British had absolutely nothing to do with it, it was the Dutch who introduced the term.
On topic:
No I don't: I'm on a regimen.

Never! Well, maybe ... sometimes. Ok, maybe quite a few times Maybe more often than I'd like to admit. Now that I think about it, I don't want to talk about it. Always! Do you fasten, then zip or zip, then fasten? Bonus question: Do you get the reference?

Fasten and then zip. Zippers are pretty delicate and I don't want subject them to unnecessary stress.

I care about some people but not about everyone. Do you think being selective is good or bad? Tough, really depends on the situation but in general, I'd say it's good more often than it's bad. Also, I want to point out the Giant Ambush Beetle clearly didn't get my reference because if so, he'd have asked the only correct follow-up question which would have been: Do you want to talk socks next?

Unless I'm wearing a suit (which I haven't worn in a decade), I generally prefer to wear white cotton tube socks, and I like them to be pulled up. I can't abide when they start sliiiiiding down my leg. Even worse when a pair of socks slips off your ankles and slides down half of your foot when your wearing a pair of heavy winter boots.
UGH.

No I've never liked the Halo series - from what I have seen I've always felt like it was intended for a much younger audience than me.

If you mean sentient or sapient life, no. That includes notions of spaceships stored in Area 51 and the little green men in the Pentagon basement.
If you mean bacteria, possibly ... Mars, Venus or perhaps on one of the moons such as Europa (Jupiter), Titan (Saturn) and Enceladus (Saturn).
Anything outside of our solar system ... existence of lifeforms is based on supposition and possibilities, not hard evidence, so no.
Do you think we will eventually find the speed of light is not the actual "speed limit" of the universe?

Do you think we will eventually find the speed of light is not the actual "speed limit" of the universe? No, because that is an arbitrary concept created by an extremely limited mind that barely understands the concepts in the discussion. Not talking about you... talking about humanity. We are not that smart, or educated, about the vastness. To learn otherwise, we would no longer be what we are.
Is justice possible in a world that insists everything is grey?

Yes, but not in every case. I also think the world is very grey but people and entities portray it as black and white to suit their own agendas, which is very bad and very dangerous. It actually pushes people into black and white, very bad.

No. I must have been like 6 or 7 when I figured I can't keep doing that all my life. So I stopped, even though I risked death or something else horrible happening. To my relief (and maybe slight surprise) nothing happened. Do you think we might be living in some sort of simulation, and that c, the speed of light - actually not "speed" but speed limit of causality, the rate of that something can propagate in the universe -, and time dilation and all that, are just synchronization devices to make sure every part of the simulation is updated in good order, and thus the existence of is maybe the proof of that we are indeed living in some simulation? π€

Uhm, maybe? We do stamp time and speed, weights and whatever to have a reference/measure point. If that is something human kind thought of themselves or that it has been implemented by someone/thing we will only find out once they reveal themselves at some point to point that fact out.

Kind of. Depends what ''reason'' means. For me personally, the dream state is simply my brain with all the restrictions I imposed upon it deactivated, it shows me all my deepest fears and things I have to deal with but I ignore or push away in simple and sometimes interesting maybe even entertaining metaphors. Rarely also my biggest hopes. So yes, dreams are dreamed for specific reasons and there is a lot of truth in them.
Do you know what you live for? As in no smartass philosophical recitations and quotes but for real?

Well, the general reason is that I want to live. Period. This is hardcoded into my inherited behavior, like in any other living creature. Those who didn't, didn't pass on their genes. Life wants to live, that's the way it is.
Then we have the personal perspective... I think we strive for some kind of internal reward, so your question is probably about what we do for that. I think I do two things: I try to discover things and satisfy my curiosity. I think that's true for a lot of things. Like I read a book, watch a movie, try things, learn more math, disassemble something... When I "see" something there is an inner reward, satisfaction, joy.
And I try to "perform". These days it's almost only in creating things. I engineered and made things at my job before I retired. Now I try to write things and I try to paint. When I create something I think people "should" appreciate, there is again that inner reward. It's of course even better if people really do appreciate it, but strangely enough, I'm not so dependent on that. It's enough that I think it's good enough. Otoh, I do need to think it's good enough myself. Other's adulations mean nothing to me, if I think it's shit.
Right now, I think life is mostly about family responsibilities. Covid pandemic, inflation and an ageing mother have completely wrecked our plans. Funny enough, I don't mind much. That's also weird. I guess I'm just an enduring soul.
Do you like to cook and do laundry?

I do neither - I have a self imposed ban on sharp things / dangerous things as I am eternally clumsy (and the husband does the grass cutting). And there is no snow here, can't shovel that either. But I will pick the snow 100 times over. Grass makes me itchy and I don't like the smell of freshly cut grass. Do you mix your food on your plate (like a crazy person ) or do you not let anything come into contact with anything else. I will take varying answers on this, you should be able to figure out what side of the food touchy touch spectrum I am on

Depends, i like to mix most stuff, but for example not the roasted vegetables into the main sauce with whatever other (probably) carbs. Sometimes i let the sauce aside and just take some at each bite, or mix everything (wok with pasta and satay sauce) Do you regularly read stuff in your bed before sleeping ? (except your phone notifications ? )

I think we all know that I enjoy a mixing of the metaphors because my brain shall track different ideas at the same time and it will all come out at the same time. Do you call it duck tape (like a weirdo) or duct tape like a normal person? There shall only be 1 answer. You figure out which is correct

If it sticks on a duct, if it unrolls on a duct, if it tapes up your duct, then obviously ... it's a duck. *side note, my previous question was not really directed at you, I was making a smart-@ss response to bunny, then I had to come up with a question ... so I riffed off your teaser question to create another tongue-in-cheek question ... sometimes a cigar is just a cigar and sometimes a tongue-in-cheek makes the words come out funny.* Do you ever post silly stuff, with no deeper meaning than being silly?

It s been a long time since I tried those. I would have thought Lanson was cheap while Dom very expensive (I dont think I tried) Not sure about tatinger. But I do love champagne πΎπ. When I was young, I was going for "Veuve Clicquot" when I wanted to spend more. We had Very good ones this Christmas from small producers. I forgot their name though.
Do you find 3 or more champagne brands in most supermarkets across USA/Canada? Mostly th same ones?
