I think there's some family resemblance at least. My second Inquisitor (human male) was a total catastrophe 😂

We really need them to patch in modifying your Inq in-game via the mirror, because you only get one shot at it and then only see them in-game hours later, and that sucks. At least someone figured out how to import them from a previous playthrough so you don't have to start over from scratch every time, though they also need to make that easier/more intuitive. I knew recreating them would be a bitch but my god. I lucked out with Hawke in DAI because he already looked similar to the default funny enough, and it seems it's easier to reinterpret the DA2 art style into DAI's then it is DAI's into DAV's (even though I prefer the less faux-realistic DA2/DAV designs).

WIP (though I recognize it will never be 'perfect'--especially with the different facial animation rigging--and I just have to deal at some point)...



Also, while it's normal for freckles to become more pronounced with age, I would still appreciate some kind of opacity slider for them, bring the intensity down a notch.

I can do better with my canon Inquisitor, Bruce Lavellan. He's the only one I tried to really recreate. I'll take another stab at him at some point.


And then Aislann Lavellan. I could finally give her the mohawk I always wanted her to have and I'm quite happy with her redesign.

I have to say that most characters actually look better in DAI, even with the lacking hairstyles and stuff. They look more realistic. I don't really like the smooth look of DAV characters a lot. That said,dwarves and qunari actually look great in DAV, not better, but given the hate, qunari got,when the game came out, I actually find them very interesting.

I had hope when they first announced that the Inquisitor was in DATV. Extremely disappointed when they revealed that we were not going to be able to control Inky in conversations. Had hope again when the CC was first demonstrated. Then, completely frustrated when I tried to recreate her in-game.
This game has been a up and down experience.
