I've got a sneaky feeling that the deluxe edition is going to be digital available only through Origin so they can price gouge properly ... :| (seriously - physical standard edition is £39.99 on Amazon/GAME - digital standard edition on Origin is £49.99; deluxe edition seems to be digital only at £54.99) Yeah, I think you're spot on with that. So far as I can tell, the pre-order bonuses at the top are available at GAME ... While everything else is an Origin exclusive. Now... £39 versus £54 is a substantial saving - particularly when you consider that it'll probably be available even cheaper elsewhere if you shop around - but I do really like the sound of some of that Deluxe Edition stuff... This is difficult. It's the pet Pyjak that gets me ... I'm sure it'll be as useless as the cyber-dog in ME3 ... but a pet Pyjak! If there was a pet Varren that was available as an extra character like the Mabari Warhound in Dragon Age I'd have been throwing them my money I fear

If there was a pet Varren that was available as an extra character like the Mabari Warhound in Dragon Age I'd have been throwing them my money I fear The Pyjak's definitely a major draw - though I really, really wish they'd just gone ahead and made it part of the main game, so it could have an actual personality/a role more akin to DA's Barkspawn than that cyberdog from ME3 - but the main thing for me's probably the outfits - I looooooove playing dress up with my characters - and the soundtrack. Eh, plenty of time left before release to choose, I guess. I'll probably end up going for the Deluxe, though I'm kinda bummed that this'll be the first Mass Effect game I don't get the physical Collector's steelbook for.

If there was a pet Varren that was available as an extra character like the Mabari Warhound in Dragon Age I'd have been throwing them my money I fear I just hope this pet is actually ours. I still don't know what the deal with mech pup in Mass Effect 3 was. I mean, seriously? They have it as a bonus but it's not even ours? It belongs to some lady who left it on the Normandy while she's doing something elsewhere and is going to pick it up later. Why? What was even the reason behind that? There's no reason they couldn't have made it a mech that was on the Normandy and got adopted by us.
I was so excited for the mech puppy as a pet and then it wasn't even my pet.
