Can't say I'm impressed and excited, it's hard to compete with Jen Hale and Alix, but it all depends on writing and direction, not just a VA. Sounds good enough to me.

Sounds good enough to me. Hmmm, not immediately smitten. And I get the horrible feeling it will be another pleasant but boring inquisitor voice. But it all depends on how she delivers the lines, how they WANT her to deliver the lines. Because Regan was adorable as Traynor but put me to sleep in DAI... quizzie had none of the quirkycharm of Traynor imo. But I'll be open-minded. And if all fails, I'll play male. Can't get any worse than Meer for me.  |

I like it when she's feisty. Where is zipzap2000 ? "Breeding request accepted" popped into my mind when I saw this combination of posts, and I suddenly realized how much this place is missing him. Edit: From his last status update, it looks like he "signed off" indefinitely while I was "out sick". That's a shame. Maybe MEA will bring him back, eventually. I'm still hoping a few other old time BSNers pop up here, yet. I miss him too  zipzap2000 COME BACK!!! |

I like Fryda Wolff's voice. I hope she's as engaging as Jen Hale, but that's a tall order. Jo Wyatt and Alix Wilton Regan didn't quite do it for me, though some of it was probably the direction and writing. They were fine, I just didn't love Hawke and the Inquisitor the way I loved Shepard. Having 3 games to get attached to Shepard may have been another factor.
I wonder if Fryda will also be voicing Ryder in the Spanish version as she is apparently fluent in Spanish. That would be cool.

Fryda was really good as Lorraine in The Park, I thought. Here's a clip of one of her monologues during the game (around 23:58 if the link doesn't work):
(The Park also seems like an interesting game on its own. Might be worth watching the whole playthrough since it's only an hour long)
