Mass Effect: Andromeda N7 Day Trailer!

I kind of like the whole recruitment scheme, but that trailer provided next to nothing. The narrator was the best part. Overall pretty much a wasted N7 day as far as I'm concerned.

I feel somewhat underwhelmed right now. I expected more than yet another trailer. Gameplay is what would have really hyped me, even if it was just multiplayer. So far, we haven't learned much more than what we already knew, and I'm okay with BW not wanting to reveal too much story-wise, but a glimpse at actual combat mechanics would have been better appreciated.

-sighs- At least it appears hair will look better.

Me too some games really let my done, but I am going to trust BW one more time. pls make me happy xD
I just have to stay calm. And try not to be TOO hyped when I really have it.

Ha ha, I agree with you on the kid in a candystore bit but not so much on the soon-thing       Oh... spring 2017 feels like it's so so far away.  

Just watched it and I love it, the only thing now is the waiting game before it is released.

I currently running around in Thedas, should keep me busy for a while. Can't wait to play Andromeda 

It looks like that thing that was digging its way onto the surface from below that we also saw in one of the first videos. Similar to a Collector ship at the front. It is also that metal Thresher Maw?

DA and ME have shared animations since forever, so it could be. There's nothing inherently wrong with that, but I do hope Bioware has upgraded them. DA:I having rather clunky animations from 2007's Mass Effect was pretty jarring for a next-gen game.

That's because it's not the OST, it's generic trailer music. Even has the Inception horn and everything. I wish they either used Two Steps From Hell like usual or some actual OST stuff, because that was kinda meh.

Also, I doubt an entire Ark gets destroyed right away, just attacked.

Unfortunately, yeah... I was really hoping they'd downplay that aspect, at least for the first Andromeda game. We'll see how it actually plays out, though.

I agree, it wasn't very substantial Yes, Alec (dad) Ryder was the original Pathfinder. Apparently that position is hereditary Seriously, though, I hope there is an adequate explanation for why another Ryder gets that mantle and not just family ties, and also why your sibling in particular does, over the other.

And yeah, I hope they don't immediately kill off any family members. Enough of that already!

Unfortunately this sums of my thoughts pretty well. I learned not to get excited for ME:A news because so far they've been doing the "Fallout 4 approach" and barely showing anything. But the thought that maybe this time we'd actually get an info-dump worthy of N7 Day crept into my mind, and I actually thought that would happen. So right now, I'm telling myself:


The trailer was short with fast cuts that didn't show much we didn't already know. I'm glad they revealed the villain/Kett, but they didn't even let us see them from the front to know what they look like No companion reveals, no gameplay... barely any more info than we had. It's just a bit lacklustre on its own, but downright disappointing for N7 Day.

Was also hoping we'd get to hear female Ryder talk more since I want to know who voices her, but alas, maybe next time. And of course, no release date, which honestly surprises me. I don't want to be a harbinger of woe, but I do worry it's been delayed again, since they should really know it by now as most games do like 8-10 months in advance. That and the fact that it hasn't been rated yet (would also like to know the rating).

Have we seen turians? And krogan are confirmed, or at least 1.
