So there will be a sequel and supposedly three (announced) novels in between them? Sounds like ME:A will get the extensive Halo-spin-off treatment. I'm all for it. I love a good story.
For prolific serial writing with good quality, maybe BW should be taking a few cues from Eric Nylund, Suzanne Collins, and J K Rowling.
Now if only they can get ME:A Initiation ready for distribution.... Waiting...Waiting...waiting.

Well, given that they have this entire book series and whatnot coming with the new game, I would have been very surprised if they'd just ditch the brand after one more game.

There is so much potential in furthering the storyline in Andromeda, it would have been a waste to put it on a shelf.

Don't care until Andromeda is over. Nonetheless, I guess it's cool, as long as they're not going Marvel Cinematic Universe on us and using Andromeda as some kind of commercial for future games.

Good. Trying to squeeze the original story into three games really hurt the pacing in 3; it felt like it was written by a college student who suddenly realized they had a major project due in less than a week.

Cerberus... as run by Charlie Sheen.
With Andromeda they can do what they couldn't in the Milky Way and actually have more rife storytelling and world building opportunities. They shot themselves in the foot with continuing to use the Milky Way when the Reapers were conceived, so sequels for Andromeda I'm certainly excited for.

Nothing concrete but at least there's hope for more after ME:A. I can tell you quite confidently that we'll have LOADS of future Mass Effect games, since EA looks at this series of games (and others such as the Battlefield or the Sims Series) as some sort of a milking cow (it's the proper business-financial term for these kind of products). They will squeeze every drop of it until fans are fed up and the sales plummet, and then they will either try and change the formula of the game or just move on to the next big thing. For example, take a look at the Assassins Creed game series by Ubisoft. They released a new game almost every year, but the two recent games came under harsh criticism that are just "more of the same" (and I'm not even talking about the glitches and bugs in the newer engines) until they decided to give the series a break and didn't release or announced a new game yet while they are trying to rethink on that game. In short, don't worry, as long as people will buy this game and they get their stocks up, there will be others games.

Mass Effect: Triangulum. Release date Spring 2024 I looked in my crystal ball a few minutes ago. ME4 Shepard returns for another game. Ashley will be available for the whole game. You're fan of Ashley. So you would like that. I don't know anymore details, but it looks like a release date 2021/2022. excellent That's right. It can't be killed. That idea will live forever.

I suggest you read some of EA's quarterly finance summaries and see how they talk about their products. I'm not saying they are just gonna make Bioware do a ME game every year, but as long as it sells well, they will keep on asking for more games.

Mass Effect: Triangulum. Release date Spring 2024 "Cerberus is an idea. And ideas can't be killed" Hey, I would welcome that more than Andromeda simply because Triangulum doesn't get nearly as much love as Andromeda in science fiction. Also it is "That idea is not so easily destroyed." not "And ideas can't be killed.".
