Mac Walters confirms more Mass Effect after Andromeda

I think it goes without saying that, if this sells well, and I'm sure it will, there will be more Mass Effect.

Well, given that they have this entire book series and whatnot coming with the new game, I would have been very surprised if they'd just ditch the brand after one more game.

Don't care until Andromeda is over. Nonetheless, I guess it's cool, as long as they're not going Marvel Cinematic Universe on us and using Andromeda as some kind of commercial for future games.

Andromeda's version of Cerberus is Cerberus that is all "Oh shit, there's no Illusive Man to help us here!"

It's basically Ryder saying:

"Squad!, move out!" or "We've casualties"

*sigh* these "confirmations" in last few days.

I can tell you quite confidently that we'll have LOADS of future Mass Effect games, since EA looks at this series of games (and others such as the Battlefield or the Sims Series) as some sort of a milking cow (it's the proper business-financial term for these kind of products).
They will squeeze every drop of it until fans are fed up and the sales plummet, and then they will either try and change the formula of the game or just move on to the next big thing.

For example, take a look at the Assassins Creed game series by Ubisoft. They released a new game almost every year, but the two recent games came under harsh criticism that  are just "more of the same" (and I'm not even talking about the glitches and bugs in the newer engines) until they decided to give the series a break and didn't release or announced a new game yet while they are trying to rethink on that game.

In short, don't worry, as long as people will buy this game and they get their stocks up, there will be others games.

I looked in my crystal ball a few minutes ago. ME4 Shepard returns for another game. Ashley will be available for the whole game. You're fan of Ashley. So you would like that. I don't know anymore details, but it looks like a release date 2021/2022. excellent
