Putting aside the biotic discussion, what type of character to you think Drack will be in combat? We have Cora and Liam being close range fighters, Peebee has a midrange caster, Jaal, based on his weapon, he's a sniper, and Vetra is likely proficient in all ranges with her rifles, and her armours make her a good tank. Based on his nature as a krogan he shoulde sturdy enough to engange in close range, but I think he might be mostly a caster, since we only have one. I'd love an idea of Drack using a big missle launcher on distance and using that 1-shot bigass shotgun in CQC (and of course his forehead). Or perhaps a stolen Elcor back-turret that he carries around and mows down the field. That would make me the most happy |

So do I . He is old enough to be our ancient grandpa, so either Ryder is like a toddler for him. Doubt it will be possible  But! I sense he might "mentor" our Ryder? Drack seems to be able to call upon a wealth of life experience (not only on how to pick up chicks, but also on how to pick up your enemy and smash him into the ground ), thus advising Ryder how to avoid making critical mistakes. In the cinematic trailer we already see he is a lot like a bodyguard for Ryder, so if someone threatens Ryder, Drack straightens the offender faster than a baseball bat. |

Her ability might be similar to fortification, a military skill, and the assault rifle is generally associated with soldiers. Beside, we need an adept. Peebee is the Sentinel type since Invasion is a tech skill. |

Bioware said our companions and MP characters will fill the more traditional roles. |

The squad will have unchangeable powers, yes, but maybe they won't fit into a traditional class. Yea, I don't think they have actually shown any of the squad's profiles yet. We know Ryder will have tech and all that, but maybe the characters will have their own custom profile with powers that have to do with them rather than straight up tech, soldier, etc. Like PeeBee has Rogue Academic right? Maybe in that list she has biotic and tech powers rather than two separate profiles. |
