Admittedly I'm a little... neutral about the new information, because like others have noted, it does make him sound quite a bit like a different shade of Wrex. I also feel it's a bit of a shame that we have yet another Krogan 'tank' for lack of a better word. I was hoping they would go with something a little bit different.

Bioware does have a tendency to surprise me with characters, though, so I'm open to see what happens with Drack, of course! I remember finding Blackwall quite boring before I was able to play Inquisition, because he sounded like the usual honorable knight and war veteran type you find in every fantasy game, but they managed to surprise me with his story. He isn't a favourite, but I'll give credit where it's due! I found him much more interesting after the reveal.

I wasn't so attached to the idea of a krogan shaman that I feel disappointed here, but I have to admit I remain fond of what could have been done with a krogan shaman.

It is interesting that he's clan Nakmor too, as I remember they were a particularly small clan? I suppose it makes sense that our two krogan are from the same clan too, as whoever organised the Andromeda Initiative likely purposely got in contact with only one of the Krogan clans and avoided the others perhaps. I can see how that could have turned messy.

Also prosthetic! I wonder if he only has one prosthetic something (his arm?) or multiple.

Dude, you are 1 400 years old and fought in both rachni and rebellion wars, while humans are there for like 20 years. What's up with this emphasis? Turians and salarians spoil less or what?

Maybe one of those human-centric humans are being a dick to him? Not Cereberus, probably, just some over-promoted, overpaid desk jockey mouthing off about Krogan and saying something dumb. That could be a context where I can see Drack emphasizing the human part.

Or, better, maybe Ryder gets cocky about their luck so far, and Drack reminds them how easily they could die to shake them out of it. That sounds like a cool grandpa moment to me.

Now that I think about it, I wonder if maybe what makes him different could be that he has a death wish. Like either something bad happened to him that made him not want to live anymore, or he's just bored of everything, or a little of both. So he goes out and does the craziest shit imaginable because he wants to find "a good death." But when he meets Ryder and the rest of the Tempest crew, he slowly and surely starts discovering new reasons to live.

He's a noble, subtle and educated English krogan with a northern accent. A representative of Mr. Thax perhaps?
