Really?  I never considered that, because I guess-- up here in the Great White North we don't have them.  And I've heard of that program, I know what it is but I have never watched it.

It's like in American Sign Language....the Sign for "go", "going", "did go", "went", "gone" etc.  it's all the same Sign.  The 'tense' of the sentence is implied within though the general rule of thumb is:  Any sign that moves backwards behind the Signer's body within the signing space is understood to be 'past tense', likewise anything that moves forward is 'future tense'.
That is why it is often difficult for native users of ASL to understand written English grammar rules.   Unless they have grown up in the "Oral Tradition" where they would learn things like speech, lip-reading, reading and writing English....Then quite often, someone whose sole and primary language is ASL, often struggles with the written grammar of English.   That is also because the sentence structures and grammar structures are reversed.  ASL shares the same basic grammar with French in that the nouns and adjectives are reversed.
