There was a critter that crawled under the deck and Sasha crawled under after it. She would not come out. My sister called me over, since Sasha would come out for me. OMG, she was a muddy mess (Sasha, not my sister). So I had my sister hold Sasha, while I hosed her off (Sasha, not my sister). I'm surprised the neighbors didn't call the humane society and report us for animal cruelty. After the hosing down, I rubbed her down with towels (Sasha, not my sister) ... all was forgiven.

Like in the video, despite all the complaints from the Husky, you never have to worry that she'll nip at you or hold a grudge. Huskies can be fierce, but at least toward humans they are about as sweet a dog as I can imagine. Pretty much everyone Sasha meets is her new BFF.

When Sasha goes to the groomers, she's actually fairly cooperative ... they give her a dog-equivalent Reese's peanut butter treat at the end (carob? instead of chocolate) and she KNOWS that she's going to get that treat, so she's pretty well behaved.

Combing and brushing her out ... yeah, she'll put up with a bit of that before she starts howling. Mostly it's a two-person job to do that, one to hold her collar, one to do the actual brushing. OBTW, if you take your Husky out for enough adventuring ... you don't have to trim the hair between their paw pads, it gets worn down naturally.

Nah, you can clearly see that this hungry Mantis has caught a toad, and apparently will now start to eat. 
The picture is probably from some perverted show that match different animals against each other. This is what typically happens if one of them is a Mantis. 

Mantis don't have any "survival techniques", only eating habits. Just check out a male going out for a date. No "survival technique" there. He need to have his head bitten off in order to ejaculate.
