That tweet and this one gives me hopes for Jaal.

The fact that I may have to pick between Liam and Jaal scares me, to be honest. Both of them have me the most hyped out of all the squaddies!

It fills me with shock and joy I've never had two love interests in a BW game I really really liked!!

I really hope that I will need to pick between these two. I'd be really happy to finally make another playthrough just for different romance.

Do you also compare every white character? I think Liam should be able to stand on his own, not be compared to every black character in a video game.  

She also has lines for Jack, Tali, and Miranda, curiously. Either Bioware flip-flopped a lot on what they wanted to do, or they really did just have Hale record all the lines before Meer, which seems a bit odd to me. Even more oddly, Hale recorded a couple of lines in ME3 referencing a romanced Tali in ME2 (flirting on the Geth dreadnaught), even though at that point they obviously knew that didn't happen...

Eh, it's just how people are. Silly as it can be, it's natural to compare like-things, even if they're only alike in superficial ways. But then again, are they superficial? Some people relate to characters because of things as simple as ethnicity.

Basically, people weren't thrilled with the last black squadmate in ME and hope the next one is better, I think. Well, most people.

I'd be happy if I could just have one romance I like Not expecting any, though. Again.


As for Liam, due to the hair-hype, I actually expected him to sport something more unique/out-there. His style actually seems fairly mundane

Well we finally got to see Liam. He has nice hair. -shrug- Will wait to see if he's husbando material or not at a latter date.

DAI taught me a hard lesson of looks are deceiving for sure. Dorian seemed like the hottest thing ever pre-launch, and Iron Bull was like 1/10 looks wise...but now for me it's completely reversed. Right now though I must say Jaal looks more interesting to me.

100% true. Although he ultimately was canonically unavailable, I did think Solas was one fugly looking Nosferatu look-alike pre-game Once I played the game though I just fell in love with this character like whoa. Meanwhile I thought (and still think) Blackwall was the hottest love interest ever created. His character ended up not intriguing me as much though (though I still wouldn't have minded him as a love interest for my preferred character, and am enjoying my Cadash romance.)
